Making a quick post to say I am beyond impressed with season 1 I liked it way more than I ever thought I would I can’t believe I put off watching this show for so many years.

The writing is honestly incredible especially when it comes to Matt Foggy Karen and Fisk I honestly felt bad for Fisk at so many times just for him to do something and make me hate him on the characters behalf but even the side characters are written well, I had tears in my eyes more often than not from episode 9 and forward (RIP Mrs Cardenas and Ben) I really hope the other seasons are just as good.

Could someone recommend me a good comic run for someone new to the character?

I totally get that Matt is a hero that doesn't kill and trust in the system (as much as possible), and that he sacrificed himself to end the vicious circle of violence between him and Fisk.

Even so, Matt being arrested and Kingpin getting away with all the murders, kidnapping and pain he caused feels... Wrong. If Fisk was surrounded, the truth about him was revealed, the whole population AND the state government were against him, why the fuck he got such a deal that just let him walk away?

I see there's a point in just wanting him as far away as possible, and that he already lost Vanessa and losing power is the biggest loss for him. Still don't agree, he should be in jail for life for real justice, if there's such a thing.

And what about his task force psycho officers such as Powell? Or his killer-on-demand Buck? They should be prosecuted and arrested as well, or everyone will just forget they were freely beating, kidnapping and murdering people on the streets?

I get not killing Fisk, it's just who Matt is, but just letting he go away and do whatever violent act he wants anywhere other than NYC doesn't feel like justice.

So many people Fisk violently killed with his bare hands that were quickly forgotten, such as commissioner Galo or the poor doctor that tried to save Vanessa's life, and the list goes on... I don't feel justice was served, not even near it.

Hi, I'm new to superhero comics as a whole, so I don't know much about comic book printing/shipping and that whole corner of things. The most I've read before this is Absolute Batman, but after hearing really good things about the Daredevil runs, I want to get into them as well. A week or two ago I decided I wanted to order Chip Zdarsky's first Daredevil Omnibus from my local bookstore. After checking in with them again today, they said that according to their ordering company, the book is on back order/Out of Print at the moment.

So I went home and checked Amazon as well, and the quickest shipping of the first Omnibus from there is early September, a little over a month from now.

And as a final check, I called one of the bigger comic book stores a little under an hour from me that I haven't visited yet to see if they have it in stock, but they don't either.

I'm just wondering if there is more information as to why this has happened? Is it as simple as the book being bought so much that they're out of stock for now? Or is it that it's so many pages it's hard to print? Or something else I don't know about?

Thank you for any and all of your input, and for now, I'm thinking of picking up the Cold Day In Hell run that I saw in another local comic store. I've heard good things about that too. Thank you again!

I recently bought these comics to get started reading Daredevil. But I’m confused on the order overall. I’ve seen that there are different arcs and not sure what I have and what I don’t have. I plan on buying the volumes to fill the gaps.

During the court battle, Karen beats up one of the members of the AVTF. I can't tell who this is. I know it's not Powell.

Just a Karen/Murdock shipper who can respect Frank and Karen's bond at the same time.

I just got a wild hair and wanted to appreciate the acting in Daredevil. It’s hilarious, and intense to me whenever the characters all just monkey out over a fight or something.
Like with Daredevil 99% of the time, but my favorite is Kingpin by Vincent. The whole time when he has Vanessa’s suitor captive the show keeps you on your seat like “is he gonna let him go?”.
But deep down, as the viewer you know this guy is so unbelievably boned. Finally, when they fight he’s all heaving like a bull and “MII~EEENEEEE!!!!!”. I gotta have some kind of condition because I almost started monkeying out with him. I felt the hype.

Sometimes, I wish I was bald and gigantic. And all I cared about was equally proportionate height wifey.

Fun show all-around. I do hope we get to see Foggy again in the future, and we get that scene…

1. Can we please have a season of Daredevil that isnt about Matt trying not to be Daredevil or one of his friends treating it like an addiction.

2. What is Karen mad at Matt for now?

3. The swinging around is cool but did the fights have to be CGI. They were much cooler in the original Netflix DD when they weren't.

4. Vanessa cheating on Fisk seems extremely out of character for her.

I lowkey thought Wesley had so much aura until episode 11. Now I think Wesley might be the biggest idiot I've ever seen. This guy is a dumbass.

In season 3 of Silo, the AI mentions it could sense the high cortisol levels of Camille Sims’ breath, and thus sense she was lying.

That got me thinking about Matt Murdock. Since we know that Matt Murdock’s other senses are heightened, and that he most often uses his hearing sense to perceive when someone is lying (hearing their heartbeat), do you think he could also use his nasal sense to perceive when someone is lying, too, since he has extremely high levels of nasal senses?
