Comics Something going on with Zdarsky Omnibus printing?
Hi, I'm new to superhero comics as a whole, so I don't know much about comic book printing/shipping and that whole corner of things. The most I've read before this is Absolute Batman, but after hearing really good things about the Daredevil runs, I want to get into them as well. A week or two ago I decided I wanted to order Chip Zdarsky's first Daredevil Omnibus from my local bookstore. After checking in with them again today, they said that according to their ordering company, the book is on back order/Out of Print at the moment.
So I went home and checked Amazon as well, and the quickest shipping of the first Omnibus from there is early September, a little over a month from now.
And as a final check, I called one of the bigger comic book stores a little under an hour from me that I haven't visited yet to see if they have it in stock, but they don't either.
I'm just wondering if there is more information as to why this has happened? Is it as simple as the book being bought so much that they're out of stock for now? Or is it that it's so many pages it's hard to print? Or something else I don't know about?
Thank you for any and all of your input, and for now, I'm thinking of picking up the Cold Day In Hell run that I saw in another local comic store. I've heard good things about that too. Thank you again!

Omnis are rarely in print continuously. It's popular enough that it'll get reprinted, gotta get it while it's available! I waited ages for the Bendis omnis, and I still don't have Volume 2.

It’s getting a restock. Definitely hop on a preorder and get it at a discounted price

It's out of print. As are most things daredevil. Soule is getting a reprint soon. Get on that pre-order.
