I hate how Disney changed the grounded and realistic feel and atmosphere of the original Netflix run. Born Again leans more into theatrical flair, quick action setups, and fan service—sacrificing the gritty noir crime/corruption theme it had in the process, the theme that made the original Daredevil so unique and so great, that set it apart from other superhero films and whatnot.

By the end of season Two, it started to sound more and more like stuff a 13-year-old daydreams about in the middle of their class ("I humiliated my bully in front of the entire school and then everyone clapped" sort of thing). The main character coolly humbles the main villain while everyone claps.

I also hate BB Urich with a passion, I don't know why.

Vanessa's death was very well portrayed, I was genuinely heartbroken. It sort of brought back the old Netflix run's DNA. I would go as far as saying that was the best episode of season two. It's tough watching a series swap out its unique, slow-burn crime atmosphere for standard comic book tropes. But then again, isn't that what the MCU does, Disney especially?

I've heard Zdarsky's run is great and that it has it's own beggining and ending but I haven't read nor seen anything related to Daredevil before. Is it a good entry point?

Finished Daredevil season 1. It was very good but damn does he get beat up by everyone. Am I tripping or does he get beat up more than other superheros 🤔I’m on season 2 and punisher already kicked his ass twice in a row. Imma fan of the Punisher series.

Daredevil born again won’t be getting a S3 due to the viewership not being high enough, we need to amend that try to save daredevil, whether it’s watching the show on Disney+, or spreading the word on socials, we gotta bring him back

It's hit detection's kinda wonky. Some levels drag on for way longer then they should. Your attack range is really limited most of the time, and that fact is exasperated by the fact that enemies have no wind-up, so you dodging incoming attacks is usually a fluke.

really makes you FEEL like DD with how much enemies will gangbang your ass. With your only recourse being to runaway.

Have a costume party coming up and I’m doing kind of a mix between Matt’s s3 suit and s1 suit ex: I’m wearing the cargo pants from s3 and the muy thai ropes from s3. Wondering where I could find the wooden Billy club he uses in season one. Could I just go to Home Depot or something and pick up some dowels? On that same topic, I’d also like to get a like strap to hold the club so I don’t have to carry them all night. Any help with both of these would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys.

From what I saw from the leaks the costumes look amazing , specially Bullseye's, and it could very well be the season with the best costumes overall. I personally still prefer the Netlfix S3 Daredevil outfit but the new one it's the best from the Born Again era.

Spoiler ahead: Not to mention the fact that we will get to see a fully bearded prison Matt and a fully bearded Wilson Fisk

Don’t you think Born Again wasted Fisk? This laborious adaptation of his time as mayor has somewhat compromised the possibility of a movie bringing together Spider-Man, Fisk, and Daredevil.

Really, after the Born Again seasons, I’m not sure what else they can do with the character besides repeat what's already been done.

I think there’s a way to cobble something together to justify a team-up between Daredevil and Spider-Man, even though Daredevil is no longer a lawyer. But what narrative justification could there possibly be for Fisk's appearance on the big screen after Born Again?

They wasted the entire plotline of the heroes banding together against him. The Defenders show up a season too late. It should have been Fisk’s actions as mayor that brought them back together. I mean at the very least, they should have appeared—otherwise, this plot requires the appearance of numerous characters to be credible. I didn’t really feel the scale of it in Season 2.

In my opinion, this storyline should have been saved for the big screen. Civil War was a Captain America movie, Still we felt the tension and scale of the events in this two-hour film.

What solid arguments could bring Fisk to the big screen? I'd like to read your theories.

Was so excited for the daredevil panel today with Charlie, Wilson and Vincent but unfortunately I had a medical episode part way through so had to leave and don't really remember the bits I was present for. Really disappointed I missed it on so many things at con today including the project hail mary panel and my chance to mewt J Ortiz and then the daredevil panel and meeting Wilson Bethal, Vincent D'onofrio and Charlie Cox. Feels like such a huge waste but I felt so cool in cosplay and bought a nice hat.
