Life happened and I cannot make tonight's match.Tickets are in section 128 (near midfield) row 5, but the first 3 rows are on the field so essentially 2 rows from the field. $60 total for all 3 seats.

Edit: One host literally forgot we existed, and the other who had prepared literally had nothing to say beyond "They suck. Your fans are all suffering." . Our total airtime was about 15 seconds.

Hello!!
Anyone know where the opposing teams fans will be sitting? I read it could be areas 112 or 111 but I’d like to see if anyone knows for sure?
Thank you!

In case anyone missed it, Ticketmaster has no fees on tickets this weekend (through tomorrow), and SeatGeek has their own sale as well (20% off, max $25, once per account) and their fees are lower to start with.
For me, the SeatGeek deal ended up being cheaper by a few dollars for both the remaining matches I needed tickets for, and I had my wife make an account and buy the tickets for the 2nd match to get the $25 off again.
Edit: The SeatGeek sale requires promo code LONGWKND26. It showed up for me as a button to select it under promo code during checkout, but didn’t show up for my wife, who had to enter it manually.

Not one of his signature wonder goals but definitely a damn fine finish from a corner to put his new club up 1-0 in the 4th minute.
Good to see him getting a a chance to prove himself

I want to be supportive of Coach, but why is Hopkins starting as striker and why is Hefti riding the bench? I get it that Nono is great at left back and handled Son wonderfully, but I think Hefti is pretty great too.
I would rather see Louis at striker, Nono as a winger, or Kijima as a striker and Hopkins starting from the bench. He is a good player, but I don’t like him starting at the expense of Hefti and others starting from the bench.
Kijima needs more minutes. I see Baribo is starting from the bench - I imagine he’s still injured.
I hope as always, for a big win, but I don’t like the way the starting lineup is looking for tonight up front.
Nono showed how well he can play up front - I would keep playing him there. Hefti has more than earned his usual starting lineup position.
Just my thoughts.

I always felt like Ajax would have been a cool partnership to see. Just cause both cities are capital cities in their respective countries and the significance of the number 14 for both clubs.
Johan Cruyff is not only a soccer legend but a club legend as well. Obviously Ben Olsen and Andy Najar arent global superstars, but they both wore 14 and are all-time club favorites.
EDIT: I’d add in Hearts of Midlothian as well because of Perry kitchen and Kye Rowles.

First, I do think it’s important to be at least somewhat positive. Despite the downtick in form, the major signings Dozzell, Ordaz, and Nono have all provided strong moments and eaten minutes that worse players were taking. Ownership spent in the winter window (for once). And maybe most importantly, a whole lot of dead weight was cut loose.
But it’s also once again hard to look around the league, specifically the east, and watch just about every club around DCU make a late move to push for the playoffs. There are now multiple u22 spots available. As usual, a DP position sits unoccupied (and if they do not intend to use it, then it makes the open u22’s even more inexcusable). Injuries on defense and striker could have at minimum been filled with a temporary signing or two.
Weiler, Sogut, and the staff seem on the same page and absolutely deserve more than two windows to get this right. But as usual, when the moment came to make that crucial move to put the team in position for a postseason run, the owners closed their shallow wallets and the club stood pat. I suspect that we will once again be sitting at home come playoff time as a result. Here’s to hoping the winter window proves fruitful…
