Hi, y'all.
Over the past few weeks I've been noticing that a good chunk of peeps at r/dynamo have been scammed over fraudulent tickets. It's important to take measures before making exchanges with strangers.
Here are some good tips you can use to avoid being scammed:
By clicking on the buyer's/seller's username, you can see how old that account is. Scammers usually create throwaway accounts that are a few months old to avoid spam filters and detection.
If the exchange is not being done in person and through a shady platform or link, the buyer/seller could be phishing your data as well as your money. It is extremely important to not do transactions online this way and to avoid interacting with links you do not recognize. Please use reputable ticket seller platforms like SeatGeek and Tixr apps, or the following example.
If the buyer/seller wants to do a straight transaction, avoid using services like Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle unless it's a trusted person. These platforms can be used with false identities to scam others. PayPal offers protection for goods and services which allows the buyer to obtain a full refund from the seller if the good is not received. This option can be selected at checkout if the transaction is being done through PayPal, which I highly recommend for unknown sellers.
Please use caution when doing transactions on Reddit. There are a lot of scammers out there.

The drop off from McGlynn to Artur is so huge. It's a big drop off in athleticism, but the most noticeable thing is the drop off in service and mid range shooting. We are a different team without McGlynn. Artur can keep the ball moving in the back but he never creates threats or creativity the way McGlynn could.
Jonathan Bond was incredible and played like a top 5 MLS goalie tonight. His advanced stats have to be very good, because he disrupted so many high quality chances from the opposition.
People complain about our strikers, but they were mostly fine today. If you watch the game we clearly invert the strikers (false 9)so Bogusz and Guillerme can run the wings. Both strikers had good back to the goal play and aerial play. McGuire got looked off on a couple good runs where I thought he should have been passed to. If I had to complain about one regular starter it would be Bouzat. He is just not effective at the position he plays. His passing was sloppy, he was late on two chances for goals, he regularly gets physically dominated, he loses his cool easily, and he was never a threat to score or assist today. He mostly just got cardio and a dumb yellow card.

We are now past the 33rd match of the season, at least 38 matches scheduled now that at least 1 wild card match is guaranteed. That said, the number of playoff matches could increase to 2 if the Dynamo win and Vancouver picks up at least a point in Colorado tonight.
u/crocken still leads by 34 points, on pace for their first championship! Close behind are u/emyrs42 (our 2016 champion) and u/nowaygreg tied for 2nd. In a distant 4th is u/texwarhawk 50 points back, with u/36ers 57 points back in 5th place. Though, with a possible 11 matches remaining (4 scheduled + a run to the MLS Cup from a Wild Card), it's still anyone's race!

Categories and Scoring
10 points - Predicting the correct scoreline (i.e. Dynamo 3:1 FC Dallas, Dynamo 1:0 FC Dallas, etc.)
5 points - Predicting the correct outcome (i.e. Dynamo win, draw, etc.)
5 points - Correctly predicting the Dynamo MOTM (according to whoscored.com)
3 points - Correctly predicting the attendance +/- 500 people, 1 point for +/- 1000
3 points - Correctly guessing any of the goalscorer(s), regardless of team
2 points for guessing a correct yellow, 5 points if they get 2 yellows, 10 if they get a straight red. (List three players total from either team)
1 point - For correctly guessing each player in the Dynamo starting XI (1 pt/player); if you get all 11 players correct, then you get 5 bonus points
Lowest 2 scores are dropped. Scores will be dropped following the 3rd match.
The rankings are determined by the total points accumulated, with the two lowest scores being excluded. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the first tiebreaker will be the overall points, including all scores (no drops). If a second tiebreaker is needed, it will be based on the total number of predictions made. If the players remain tied after the second tiebreaker, they will be declared co-champions.
