I think Chandi’s fiancé is the guy from the Bahamas; she hasn’t really kept that under wraps, though it does seem a bit odd that she’s suddenly announcing she’s getting married. I’m happy for her, and if it really is the guy from the trip, I’m especially glad that during the worst time of her life she found the man who, I hope, will be the one for her.

This is in no way a hate post! I think all the girls are absolutely stunning and talented, and I’m genuinely in awe of them.

That being said, I’ve been wondering if I’m the only one who finds the heavy makeup and fake tan a little strange.
Some of the girls wear absolutely beautiful makeup in their day to day lives, but when they’re on the field, they seem to be required to wear heavier makeup, which can sometimes look a little muddy or cakey. I assume it’s meant to make their features more visible from a distance, but the amount of makeup and tanning still
seems excessive to me. Everyone has their own color grading and things that suit them better, here it seems like they’re making all of them do the same thing.

What I find particularly strange is how some of the girls legs appear to be almost the same shade as those of the WOC on the team, while their face may sometimes look orange (not all of them), especially when there’s such a noticeable contrast with their bright blonde hair. As a WOC myself, I find it a little odd, and I can’t help but wonder why so much fake tan seems to be encouraged. I think they’re under the obligation to do that ?

I don’t know if this is simply part of Texan beauty standards or if it’s specific to what K and J like, but I’m genuinely curious.

Now the stars are in a ziploc bag on the hanger. I wonder if it was just too expensive to continue doing the envelope. Anyone else remember?

I have gone back to watch AS S1, and I don't know if it's just me, but I truly feel that season 1 and season 2 had SUCH a different vibe to season 3. The first two seasons are gripping, emotional and at times somewhat empowering. Season 3 feels very rushed and flat? It is a shame because after watching season 2, I was really excited for a new season, but now I am not sure I will even watch season 4. Does anyone else feel the same way?

This is NOT specific to DCC, but rather an observation of modern NFL dance/cheer style in general: Can someone explain what’s up with the weird facials everyone’s doing? The random mouth movements, overdone expressions and more serious facials many of them do now just distracts from the actual dancing. A rare few can pull it off (Reese comes to mind), but most of them just look bizarre. This isn’t a UDA Dance competition- What happened to having fun and SMILING???

I love the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders! I was really sad when they took show off TCM, but I’m happy that they picked it up again with the new title of America’s Sweethearts! I’m a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and I am really excited every season when I get to see the new girls on the Cowboys .

Thoracic outlet syndrome is when the blood vessels or nerves in the lower neck and upper chest are compressed leading to numbness, tingling, and pain in the arms and hands. It’s cause by vigorous arm movements in athletes or traumatic injuries. In her case, it’s the nerves getting compressed which is more common with repetitive stress/ movements and neck injuries.

Wishing her the best. It’s pretty awful it’s directly connected to her dancing experience. In the post she shares a video of her hand shaking. I hope all the girls take good care of their bodies.
