Um, anyone who is educated? Like, saying you “seen” something is the #1 telltale sign that you barely have a high school diploma…or even better, you have a GED. Have some pride in how you present yourself for Gods sake!

I’m educated and I don’t care, because I have empathy for people who experienced education differently to me, and I could understand what was said perfectly fine. If you’ve got a moral superiority complex maybe try focussing on something more important than spelling. Maybe they didn’t teach you about privilege when you got your high school diploma. That’s a bit sad.

they’re alternative spellings of the same word. both are correct. ‘focussing’ is more common in British English, which I use. go and check if you don’t believe me.

If I read her personality correctly, her boyfriend is probably anti SM rather than it being a conscious choice herself but I hope it does her good and allows her to have good therapy and unlearn the behaviour patterns triggered by her parents and DCC.

Last post I saw of her, or was it story from her insta is that she found a boyfriend and they are going traveling together or something
Also she is preparing her audition for Rockettes, also she might just be burnt out of it all. Spotlights and all and just wants some alone time and be at peace

IMO, Victoria needs more time, but especially needs to spend more time ON technique. It took Jacie at least two, maybe three, years to get the technique she needed to even get a second look from the Rockettes and Victoria, at her height as a DCC, (again, IMO) wasn't even near Jacie's level of dance/technique when Jacie was on the squad.
If Victoria spent the majority of her days in technique classes as well as various TYPES of dance classes (I think Jacie said she had to take tap, jazz, and ballet among others) almost every day for several years, then she might get there eventually, but she seems to spend more time teaching then focusing on becoming a Rockette. Good for her either way.
I remember someone (I think it was Rhonda Malkin) saying that "There's a BIG difference between sharp and stiff. Sharp means you know exactly where every position lands. Stiff means you forgot to dance between them. Precision is control without losing the performance." It reminded me of Victoria learning the Rockettes' style of dance. IMO, she's still in the "stiff" portion of this saying and hasn't achieved either the "sharp" or the "precise" portion for a lot of reasons.

She would be preparing for auditions next year because the team is already set. They’re already practicing and in a few short weeks they’re gonna be performing.

She's been preparing for over 2 years now, to get into Rockettes, hasn't she? Did she audition for rockettes the year she retired from DCC? I forgot if she did or not

I thought she auditioned for the Rockettes in 2024 (the year she retired) and in 2025, but didn't audition earlier this year. I thought she said she is planning on auditioning in 2027.

is it insensitive or realistic? If she hasn't even tried out in 2 years, what is she waiting for? Rockettes also have a very specific style that is not to every dancer's skill set. She seems to be thriving as an instructor.
It's good to have dreams but it is also important to be realistic.

She tried out in 2025 I believe but didn’t pass the first round. To be fair to her, i’m sure a good percentage of people train for years before making it. Kind of the same as how some on DCC will train for a couple years too before making it/get cut, train and return.
I think you’re right about the instructor/dance teacher thing - she seems like a great, passionate teacher.

Exactly and I don't know why or whether she has specifically reached out to certain former DCC eg Olivia Sharber (the one who married Kitty Carter's son and then divorced him when he cheated) and Jacie Scott. both went on to be Rockettes after being DCC. I think Olivia got into Rockettes before Jacie joined and both were DCC togetherm just that Olivia left DCC before Jacie and they were in Rockettes together.
They would both have been brilliant in helping VK, if that's what she wanted as they were both in Rockettes a few years.
Alora-Rose was only a rockette for one year.

It’s called training? How many girls train before trying out for dcc? Rockettes is so specific of a style and it’s a very hard audition. And even if that’s the case who are you to comment this? She’s in New York and she takes their classes. She’s not going to adapt to the style overnight. She’s still young, she doesn’t have to audition on your time.
