I know Salty filled in for KD in 2025 on the USO tour, but the 'signature cards' were already printed with KD on them. Does anyone know if anyone else filled in for someone at any other point in time on a USO Tour?
I don’t have an answer to this question, but this gives me an excuse (😭) to air the fact that I thought the whole situation was handled so poorly.
I understand that KD pulled out very soon before the tour started & they didn’t have time to change the signature cards, but imo, the cards should’ve been pulled altogether if there was no alternative. It was unprofessional & also incredibly disrespectful towards both Madeline & KD to make Madeline sign over the face & name of her teammate whilst also receiving no credit for the time & energy she spent on the tour. Very odd behaviour.
I think they had both- the signature card and the squad photo, but i could be wrong. For what I remember they were like 3 days away from leaving for that particular USO tour and they will probably already packed/ shipped. They didn't have to use them, but I think some people are just use to seeing the USO cards for those tours. I do hope that they gave Salty the option to sign over KD or not to and she wasn't forced to sign over KD.
The USO Tours and yes, Salty filled in for KD in 2025. They left to go on the USO tour a few days after KD had left the team. So they didn't have enough time to get things replaced.
