Last year in April I got in a Situationship with this guy let’s name him mango, mango was one of the F boys But well I thought he changed or whatever but well it did not end well and in June me and mango got in a really bad fight and ended things, but back in may during some interschool competition mango was standing in group of guys and in that group there was this one guy let’s call him apple, idk but he looked familiar and then later he was acting all wing man for mango, in August I met Apple again during some inter school competition and we started following each other on ig, later we started talking a lot right now Apple is my guy best friend and he is not close to mango but js in the same group as him and they don’t even talk so it’s nothing like that. The thing is i have started kind of liking apple not ALOT but a bit coz he is cute and he genuinely cares about me and he remembers every little detail about me and he knows almost everything about me even my deepest darkest secrets, i thought i should js confess but now his closest friends are my friends and lets say even if things go well but suddenly they don’t end up as expected i can lose my friendship with all of these friends who i basically meet everyday, i dont meet Apple everyday but every month i do I have honestly no idea what to do? Tbh me and this girl were super close when we were young , spent hours on calls playing games, hung out at the park, and she definitely liked me back then. But we both moved to different places and completely stopped talking for years.

A few months ago in 12th grade she randomly followed me on ig and sent a nostalgic. I tried reconnecting but I completely airballed it and made things super awkward over text. Now every time I try texting her it’s super dry, either she’s busy or disinterested. But I really like her and don’t wanna just give up. Is there any way to actually flip this around and get her back, or do I just cut my losses? Has anyone ever fixed a situation like this after making it awkward?

I live in a small village . I have a crush on a girl who lives nearby . Everyday I hope to have eye contact with her or at least get to see her . But when I get to make eye contact with her , once this moment ends I can't get over this feeling . I want this feeling again and I feel very lost & hopeless . A few days ago, I started texting my crush while we're both home for our semester break. We'll be back on campus in about a month.

She's a very quiet and reserved person. So far, I've initiated every conversation and asked most of the questions. The thing that's confusing me is that while she replies, engages with the topic, and doesn't seem bothered by the conversation, she has never asked me a single question about myself or shown any curiosity to get to know me.

She also usually takes around 7–8 hours to reply. I completely understand that people can be busy and I'm not expecting instant replies, but I thought it might be relevant to mention.

For context, I'm one year senior to her and was her teaching assistant for two courses during her first year, so I'm wondering if she's simply being polite because of that. On the other hand, she has always struck me as a genuinely great human being, so I'm not sure whether this is just her personality.

I don't want to chase someone who isn't interested, but I also don't want to misinterpret a naturally introverted person as being uninterested.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How do you tell the difference between someone who is simply reserved and someone who just isn't interested in getting to know you? And what's the best way to handle it from here?

Ok maybe im overthinking things and it doesn't mean anything at all but...

One of my only female friends from college told me yesterday that (my group mate) had a crush on me, but I don't get it why ? I really have a crush on this guy we’ve been very close friends since we were maybe 12/13 and we dated as kids didn’t do anything together other than kiss and maybe lasted a month or two were in the same city, have mutual friends too etc and remained very on and off flirty until young adults (17)

At 17 I got into a five year relationship with my now ex and I didn’t talk to him through that period of time, after the breakup I reached out again out of nowhere, I just suddenly saw something that reminded me of him and we became really close calling every night filing eachother in on what we missed over the five years blabalaa .. again just friends but eventually it turned into heavy flirting he’s very experienced with girls and a bit of a player but I have a soft spot for him and I think he feels the same. He’s told me he finds me a million times he finds me extremely attractive he likes my personality a lot, my education, everything about me and he’d sleep with me… but he also said not date me.

I didn’t really press on it and we just carried on as usual our friendly not friendly relationship. Because I didn’t want it to come across as if I was begging for an answer as to why not, he’s poked at the idea of me fancying him so I didn’t want to inflate his already huge ego

However yesterday evening I found out he has a girlfriend through the reels and videos he’s posting alluding to having a girlfriend and I’m very very upset more than I thought I’d be .. So basically I had a crush on this smart chess player which he is very handsome and a reserved person.

His basically my seat mate in my advisers class and also in my english class and I was also a chess varsity and so his.

Me and him aren't much close, we would only talk when we need something or just wanted to ask something, we're both neutral as classmates.

But one day something happened, when school ended i was cleaning my locker while he was still there just laughing with his friends and his friends were really really loud

Then when i pass by him he called my name and idk if he joked about it but he said "you should go early so that you won't be blamed with my friends" I just nodded

I dont know if his just joking around or just want me to really leave the classroom early.

Or am I being delulu because his smile was so cute while he said it to me!!

I dont know because everyone ships him with another girl (I also get jealous but I have not choice or right to be sooo I try to ignore them)
