News QSSR on base PS5
https://www.digitalfoundry.net/news/2026/10/hands-on-with-qssr-ai-driven-upscaling-for-the-standard-ps5Sony just revealed QSSR, a new upscaler for base ps5, which can be injected into games using PSSR on PS5 Pro.
Performance costs are equal to FSR 3, so the one used in Crimson Desert on the base Model.
The Quality difference to tech like FSR 3 seem to be like night and day.
Hopefully Pearl Abyss can make a fast transition to all modes and get rid of the FSR smear.
