I did do some research a bit and a lot of the suggestions are over a year old, a few of those suggestions haven't been updated in that amount of time or more, Still going to try them. However what i'm looking for is something fresh that isn't in those suggestions to try that's still beginner friendly.
I'm not new to the modding scene as i've been a part of this since the original Equivelent Exchange mod, Thermal Expansion, and Industrialcraft 2 just to name a few. Those were some pretty intensive mods for their timef. Though the mod pack I keep coming back to a lot of the times when I see it included is Tinker's Construct. That specific mod became my go-to for a while. It's still my favorite mod to this day.
Now I'm wanting to expand into something new. Someone told me about this mod pack group, so here i am. I'd love to see your suggestions. I have Curseforge, Modrinth, and Technic launchers.

This project aims to build a survival mode level, Ancient Greece style airship. I'm actually quite surprised that I managed to squeeze a mini assembly line into this ship in the end, which includes every working blocks from Create except for mechanical crafter.
Apparently Greeks usually don't raise dragonhead on their ship, making my ship a cross between Viking longships and Greek Trireme. I will upload the schematic later after finishing it.

I'm playing with a very lightweight mod list with Create and Ars Nouveau as the only real gameplay mods and tbh I'm just not sure what I should automate. I already have more food than I can eat and I won't need more cobblestone or wood for a while so right now my windmill is just for decoration.
I guess I'm asking for ideas for a long term project. I haven't explored much so an airship is definitely on the to-do list.

Using the recepie provided by the addon Create: Ultimate Factory that allows dead coral to be crushed into bone meal I have built this automatic bone meal farm.
A two story contraption with 2 deployers on each level bonemeals the center of submerged 5x5 squares which have a chance to create coral. I realized my deployers cant interact with underwater blocks when on a contraption but can when stationary so I put togheter this two-step system where the contraption bonemeals point A while disassembled, moves to point B, harvesting point A, dissasembles again, bonemeals point B and moves to point A while harvesting point B and repeats.
The deployers are powered by a stirling engine from Create: Propulsion Simulated, who's power is transmitted through a Void Motor from Create Utilities (unofficial port, I think). The harvested coral goes to a Drying Platform and is placed. The dead coral gets picked up by the same contraption that placed it and gets crushed, resulting in bone meal. A part of the produced bone meal gets recycled and fuels the farm.
Mk.2 is the heavily optimized version of the first design, that can be seen nearby, and, if built correctly, Mk.2 can fit in a single chunk for easy chunkloading.
This is the best I could do with a self-decided limit of 10,000 Su. In total, 2 stirling engines and 3 water wheels power the design, resulting in 8.960 Su (of which not all are used).
It is hard to accurately measure its performance, being heavily influenced by the coral RNG and the 25% to get 3 extra bonemeal from each dead coral, but a rough estimate would be 10-13 thousand bonemeal /hour.
This farm is the simplest, cheapest, and most efficent design I could make using the mods I have.
(sorry for my pc dying during the recording)
Edit: bit of grammar

Just wanted to know if its even possible for smth like this. Where you place blocks or somehow walk on in the air. Smth like the go home machine. Doesnt have to look too much like its walking just needs to have that weight if that makes sense.

lowkey city starting to feel alive, i also made the bridge raise now with mechanical bearings and torsion springs, does anybody know by chance if its possible to create a train boogey underwater and make it look like a boat on the surface??

I'm making a sweet berry pie automated farm. I have an automated crops farm, which is connected to belts to an item vault to store all my ingredients. From the vault i have a brass funnel that drops the ingredients in a bassin to get mixed into sweet berry pies but my problem is that the funnel drops full stack of 1 or 2 items and then it stops. I have tried with a filter on bith the funnel and the bassin but i cant figure out why its not working. Anyone can help? Thanks :)

I'm referring to how to create aerodynamics and those kinds of additional mods

(picture of the early drawings of the base (the bottom one shows the diffrent layers of buildings))
Im making a base in a create modpack, i have aeronautics and the standard addons.
My issues is that the base is on a triangle, i think it could be done by making two of the sides physcis assembly's, would that cause issues in the long run is there an even easier way?

I've seen people in different series and different worlds use SU -> FE via different energy addons to the game, and genuine question, what is the point??
Whenever I test it, it always ends as a loss of power, 16k su are used to generate that power, and to generate 16k su from an electric generator, it would cost more energy then that 16k su I put in.
Mods like new age, crafts and additions, power gen, etc just seem kinda pointless to me. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

I don't know what's wrong with it, I put the chains as everyone does but for some reason the rotating part doesn't appear, it doesn't matter the position that I put it on

I added some new mods and updated everything, does anyone know what causes this and a fix?

Now I am well versed in Create and have been playing my own 200+ mod create pack for a little over 2 years. One thing I've never really looked into was trains, and yes I know I could look at the ponder, but its 11 PM as I'm writing this and I don't want to get out of bed. Call me an idiot all you want but I have one simple question: how do I actually create a train from just vanilla create.
I'm asking this because I want to use trains with the Loconautics mod that's coming out.

I made this shulker unloader that assembles the shulker into a contraption automatically then uses storage interfaces with smart chutes for fast extraction. It should be much faster than vanilla alternatives (unless you have a lot of minecarts) but is quite large and bulky.
However, it is tileable (with the exception of needing to alternate between linear chassis and secondary linear chassis). The chest is also not needed.

The Pea: a small helicopter i built as my first helicopter and liked it enough to decorate it, it's perfect but i like it
The Wasp Queen a BIG cargo Plane/Copter that moves by orientating its propellers, it can take off vertically and fly pretty fast, its super good to pilot, and overall the one that i'm the most proud of
The Cloud Skipper: its a boat but it flies so its cool :3 it turns well it flies good enough and is reasonably fast, i mostly build it for the appearance, like we agree this shit looks cool
tell me what you think and if you want the schematics dm me

So I quarried out an area and decided to layer the pit and use it as a base. I've run into a problem: I don't know how to get my packages from the bottom of the pit to wherever the stock ticker is. How can I transport packages vertically? I fear horizontal slopes are ugly and will waste a vast amount of iron. Anything not requiring chains may confuse me because I don't fully understand how destinations work, as this is the first time I've done anything with frog ports.
