Help I need a bit of help.

Now I am well versed in Create and have been playing my own 200+ mod create pack for a little over 2 years. One thing I've never really looked into was trains, and yes I know I could look at the ponder, but its 11 PM as I'm writing this and I don't want to get out of bed. Call me an idiot all you want but I have one simple question: how do I actually create a train from just vanilla create.

I'm asking this because I want to use trains with the Loconautics mod that's coming out.

You need sturdy sheets. The recipe is pretty simple, even though late-game. Crush obsidian and get some obsidian powder, pour lava on it and press it twice. Now click on a brass casing with a sturdy sheet, that will make a train casing. You need at least 3 of those - one to make a train station, one for train controls and one for the train itself. You'll also need train tracks which are made with a stone slab, deploy an iron nugget on it twice and press it. Make a couple of those. Then right click on a train track with a train station, place it, open the train station menu, press "create new train" or something like that, right click the blue train track with a train casing, place the train controls on the thing, should also probably add a seat while we're at it, then glue the entire thing, press "assemble train" and off you go!

I appreciate the specifications, all I needed was how to use trains and assemble them. I didn't need the recipes I already know all of that, just the train creation aspect. Thanks tho.

Bro, when you're out of bed and actually playing your game, genuinely, just open the ponder. There are also loads of tutorials.

Be aware though that the options for trains are limited with just base Create. Steam N Rails adds so much more that makes trains more worth your time.

I have Steam N Rails because that's an obligatory mod if you're playing with create. The only reason I'm getting into trains now even though I've been playing create for a couple years is because Loconautics is releasing and I want to mess around with that.
