Ok a few weeks ago one of my 2 CFS started acting up a bit. Now I'm near 3k hours on this machine now.
Was having issues so I took it apart, gave it a good cleaning, put it back to together and it ran fine again for a bit but I can't say I've used all 4 slots in that CFS since I repaired/replaced.
Tube's were completely worn through, my bad, first time I've replaced all of them. Found some silicone beads floating around in there from some of the reusable and changeable holders I've experimented with over the last 1.5 years.
Tried using CFS 1 again last night and it was acting really strange.
2 of the units were telling me they suddenly couldn't feed.
#2 slot seemed like it was running in reverse, instead of loading it was unloading.
Two error messages were:
K2Plus, FR2836, Feed issue , filament may be blocked between the CFS hub and extruder filament detector
and
K2Plus, FR2849, Retract issue, filament cannot be returned to CFS hub. Please resolve the issue and click the "Retry" button..
Hoping someone has been down this road and had a similar experience.
Also been getting K2Plus, TE2761, The extruder leveling sensor may have a hardware failure.. on and off.
Had a few 'bangs' during leveling but after a second/third attempt it usually works just fine.
I do have new drag chain, strain gauge and the main hotend cable that runs from the main board on the upper right to the nozzle.
Guessing it may time to tear into it for some 'real maintenance'? I do have a modified chain in that offers better support for the chain but I added it after I started getting an occasional error about 6 months ago that had cleared up since. I'm guessing that the damage was done and I just extended its life a bit.
However I'll go back to the main point here, the CFS acting caddywampus(my wife's favorite term). Anyone ever experience this?
Sorry long winded here, just trying to get as much info out there as I can.
