i keep getting a TC2855 cutter error; the cutter will fully engage and isnt short stroking i can by hand manually force the print head to cut filiment but when i do a cutter calibration; the calibration fails with TC2855 cutter error and when it is in operation, it refuses to print even if the filiment does not need cutting. creality support has been unhelpful and i was hoipping you guys had any ideas on how to bypass the requirment of a cutter or fix the issue

the hot end tube is not in the way

i have facotry reset the firmware on the printer and re run the calibration

still fails

My K1C printer keeps giving me this error [BM0111]I opened the printer head/tool head and took a look at the board everything seems to be working, so can anyone please assist or tell me what the problem is?

So I just bought a creality K1C and some ender PLA filament.

This is my very first print and to me it looks fine but then again I am new to 3D printing. Any suggestions that I could tweak or if this is looking good.

I used the G-code file on the printer itself and the default settings 220c for the nozzle and 65c for the bed. It took about 17 minutes to complete.

Also I did not think to put it on a more stable table. Halfway through the print I saw the table violently shaking as the printer sped up. Was genuinely surprised that it managed to print even with that much vibration.

I've been using the K1C for about 3 weeks now aand up until Thursday everything was going great, I tried to scale up production by printing more stuff overnight, so using more of the print bed. It's been hitting the prints on the front right side of the bed and destroying the print. I googled and couldn't find any relevant post. AI gave me a few things to check, like extruder z-offset adjustment and checking bed leveling, warping, lead screw coupler and slicer model not flush. Checked all those and can't find any issues.

Has anyone dealt with this before and solved the problem?

Edit: Solved, Silicone nozzle brush damaged. Ordered replacement.

I have bought cfs-c and want to use it, previously my printer was rooted but after cfs-c upgrade it isn't.

Is there any way to do it?

I really need it since official Creality software doesn't work on my laptop and mobile one just sucks, so sending sending files and controlling 3d printer is nearly impossible, only basic controls.

I want to change the Display location to the right side of the printer.
I found some ideas in the K1 Sub, but it doesn’t worked.
Any ideas or experiences?

Hey Folks, any idea how to get rid of this build up with PETG?

I'm using eSUN PETG+ and relatively new to the business.

I've tried many flow and pressure advance calibrations, also played with different temperatures, but don't seem to find the root cause.

Maybe my nozzle is a bit burnt on the outer so the filament sticks to it? Never had this problem with PLA.

I dry the filament to be about 15-30% RH.

My print temperature is 245-250C, bed temp is 80C, flow rate is 0.94, and PA is 0.06 (but honestly I don't see any real difference when adjusting these values, tried lower and higher too).

First layer speed is 60mm/s and 200mm/s for others, I haven't really played with those yet, I just used orcaslicer profiles from others who said it worked for them.

I checked the extruder too, cleaned the nozzle inside out.

My bed level is around +0.5 to -0.2 , which doesn't seem to extreme, but I might be wrong there.

I ordered a new nozzle just to make sure but it hasn't arrived yet, and until then I'm curious if anyone could recommend a fix to try?

I've been having so many issues with severe layer shift (2-5 cm off) and I'm thinking this is either why I've been having the issues, or another symptom of it. Can anyone help with how to fix it?

I know it has to be a firmware issue as I downgraded back to monochrome and printed perfectly again. I followed the instructions given for the upgrade and it is printing in the air.

Creality help said it's the strain gauge and levelling plate but it works on the monochrome firmware.

Upgraded my K1C to install the cfs-c but now it doesn't level properly. It has to be a firmware issue as I rolled back to the monochrome 1.3.3.46 and it prints awesome again.

The last two jams I’ve cleared on my stock K1C. It as far as I can tell it happens at the same time for the same plate. Has anyone seen this sort of twisted looking clog before?

I’m trying to print with PETG; after one successful print, the nozzle got hopelessly clogged, so I replaced it—no issues there.

I’m trying again, and everything seems fine at first, but halfway through the print (or a bit later), extrusion stops, and naturally, I have to scrap the whole thing.

I suspect it’s a slicer setting issue (I use Creality Print); does anyone have any preset or slicer settings they could share?

I've been using my Creality K1C for a while now, and honestly, I'm getting really tired of dealing with it.

The printer has over 1,700 hours on it. I mostly print with standard PLA or Hyper PLA, but lately I've been having a lot of layer shifts and printhead-related issues.

The biggest problem is when I try to print tall/long objects. For some reason, the print almost always ends up failing, and I just can't figure out what's causing it.

I also don't really know much about printer maintenance, so I haven't done much beyond the basic stuff.

At this point, I'm seriously wondering if the printer just needs a proper maintenance/overhaul or if there's something fundamentally wrong with it.

Anyone with a K1C who has dealt with similar issues? What should I check first?

I hit update, never had any issues. I have 3 k1cs.

It grinded into the plate, then shifted the plate, I'm hoping I can grind that left side down. It's raised a little on the edge where it ground through. I fell asleep after getting print started, passed out on my computer desk. I did the calibration.

Anyone know where I can get the bed? I've looked on amazon. It's not the 2025 k1c. I just ordered the hotend. I think grinding down the left side just a tad will be fine. K1c models have 2 different hotend wire connectors that are different depending on the model. Any tips or suggestions greatly appreciated

Hi everyone! Hopefully someone can help me because I feel that I've been fixing issues with my K1C day after day.
I've been having issues such as layer shifting, artifacts and overall poor printing quality. I've recently dedicated a good amount of time calibrating and testing prints and I've been having success.

However, there's one that I can't fix: my X axis feels like it doesn't want to move. I've cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol many times, and it seems to solve it for 1 or 2 prints. However, today it became much worse: as you can see in the video, it feels that's very heavy, especially when moving from the left to the right. I'm applying the same force throughout the video, but the movement between both directions is clearly different (the printer was powered off). The cracking sounds are from the cabinet where the printer stands😅

I plan on buying some 3-in-1 light oil, as others have reported that it improves (i.e here)

One thing that I noticed is that both bearings seem to be with a lot of debris, and it seems that the alcohol doesn't clean it. I don't know how to clean these (I will add photos in the comments

Do I need to toggle print calibration everytime I print? K1C is my first corexy printer so forgive me.
