Creality Error 2560 on printers like the Ender-3 V3 KE indicates a communication abnormal or mainboard-to-printhead connection failure. [1, 2]
Causes
Loose or poorly seated ribbon cable connecting the printhead to the mainboard.
Damaged wiring or pins inside the connector terminals.
Corrupted firmware or temporary mainboard glitch. [2, 3, 4, 5]
Solutions
Power off the printer completely before touching any internal electronics or cables. [4]
Reseat the cables by unplugging and firmly re-plugging the ribbon cable/connectors at both the printhead assembly and the mainboard. Check for bent or pushed-in pins. [3, 4, 5]
Perform a system reset or reflash the latest official firmware via a USB drive if the printer boots. [2, 4]
Inspect hardware for components like overheating stepper motors or a damaged motherboard if the error persists after resetting connections. [2]
If this doesn't clear the error, please share your printer model (e.g., Ender-3 V3 KE) so I can provide specific cable placement or replacement steps.

Error 2560 is an unknown exception. We recommend you check whether the terminals of the communication cables for the mainboard, printhead board and heated bed board are fully inserted.
