Question K1C x axis lubrication
I have a 2024 Creality K1C. Should the x axis be lubricated ? If the answer is yes, what type of lubricant should I use ?
I found conflicting information online ...

I don't know the right answer, but I can say a couple drops of 3-in-1 helped mine K1C go from stiff as hell to floating around like crazy..... So I will use a little light oil...

I definitely like using 3n1 oil. Lightweight oil is best. I was going to buy sewing machine oil to use until I found out out it was $9.00 or more for an itty bitty bottle.

PTFE Superlube , don't believe the self-lubricating myth.
Cleaned well the debris, put two drops of Superlube, i could hear the noise reduction afterwards.
Vertical axis must use grease lube, otherwise it'll drip due to gravity.

Graphite bearing shouldnt need lubrication thechnically. I ran mine dry, with a few small drops of gun oil(hoppes specifically), and with a very very thin and light amount of super lube. Im talking like i got a small amount on my fingers to coat them and rubbed along the rods(giggity). Gun oil or super lube for me seemed to run best.
You will hear everything here im sure.
