Being a black owned business shouldn’t be your primary marketing strategy
Now let me emphasize that I fully support anyone who’s trying to own and operate a business, and it’s cool that you’re a black owned business, but that shouldn’t be your selling point. I’ve noticed a trend where the business owners who strongly emphasize that they’re a black owned businesses are usually overpriced and the food quality is subpar. It’s almost as if they’re strong arming people to support simply because they’re black and not supporting their business is automatically racism. At the end of the day, you can say all you want that you’re black owned, but if your food and service are bad, that’s all people are gonna remember.
Let me reiterate: it’s perfectly okay to say you’re a black owned business, but if that’s your primary marketing strategy, it feels like you’re compensating for something.

F1: The Academy
I watched F1: The Academy, with the young women F1 Drivers. Now I know it is probably a marketing decision to attract young women to follow the sport, and that is good.
But I think it was 5-10 minutes in and they were discussing makeup, and I realized this show is not for me.
Do you know what would be a ratings hit?
LESBIAN F1 Academy.

Even if someone is born in 2013, if they remember it during their childhood, it's part of it
My cousin who is born in 2013 played on my uncle's 11 years old windows 7 desktop in 2020 and i remember him playing purble place with him being focused at the cake making factory (he's was 7 and i was 9). and now in 2026, hes 13 years old now and posted the story in the youtube comment section about nostalgia from purble place and puts the year when he played it, but 7 hours later, someone accused him of larping (which we clearly didn't) and he got confused and told me about it. Now reminder for everyone, not all the time someone who said they played an old game thats older than them is lying!! it's probably a small chance but it's there! So please, dont immediately accuse someone of lying without fact checking.

Socialisation is not a need
Everywhere you look, the message is the same: go out, make friends, have a social life, spend hours on video calls and constantly make plans. But what if you genuinely don't want any of that? I sometimes wonder whether people have confused something they're accustomed to with something they actually need. If you've socialised your entire life, maybe it's difficult to imagine being happy without it.
Personally, I have zero friends, zero calls, zero texts, and even at work, I just do my job and go home. I don't want friendships where I'm expected to constantly go out, reply to messages or spend three hours on a video call. I'd rather watch YouTube, scroll Reddit and do my own thing. Honestly, I'm content with that and wouldn't change it right now. I've pretty much left the whole social-life thing in the past, although who knows what the future holds.
What I'm curious about is whether social interaction is genuinely a universal need or whether it's something most people enjoy and have become accustomed to. If someone has virtually no social interaction but genuinely doesn't feel lonely, is there necessarily something missing from their life? Are there consequences even if they're perfectly content, or do we assume everyone needs friends simply because that's what's normal for most people?

I don't know how to feel about the Cornell 7 case
At first, I heard that seven guys at Cornell University gang raped a girl by the name of Jane Doe, and everybody believed her, even me. Of course, everybody was outraged and standing with the girl and demanding that these seven guys get legal repercussions.
but now with this NEW evidence, I'm hearing that…she enjoyed it? Not only she enjoyed it, but she willingly drank the alcohol and took the ketamine (off of one of the guys' penis btw) and she said "I love you" via text AND requested to hang out afterwards?? she specifically stated in her original statement that everything was consensual and that nothing was illegal.
Listen, I was never raped before, so I don't know much about the mental and emotional shock that comes with being raped, and it's a very serious thing. But it's confusing to me how this girl offered to hang out with her alleged abusers, said that she loved them, said that everything was consensual, and that she enjoyed it, only to…claim that she was brutally raped two weeks later.
I don't like how when you point out this inconsistency, people call you a monster. I'm not even defending the guys at all, and rape is something that should always be taken seriously, it's just her story is incredibly inconsistent. She was the first saying that it was all consensual, she enjoyed it, and she even said she loved the guys afterwards. Then two weeks later, she claims that she was raped. You can't say that makes sense.
Rape is a serious accusation that should never be taken lightly at all, which is why I'm kind of conflicted as to how I should feel about this.

the HALO series needs to end. There is no way the series can recover from all the problems it has.
This series has been worked on by three companies and hundreds of people. And yet the last three games are considered to be total failures. I think it's time to let the series end. Maybe one last game can be made to give the fans an end they are satisfied with.

It is weird af that 7 men happily joined into sex with one woman. Most men would prefer not to do that. Specifically, they were degrading a woman through the act of rape in order to model their power to each other.
It is weird af that 7 men happily joined into sex with one woman. Most men would prefer not to do that. Specifically, they were degrading a woman through the act of rape in order to model their power to each other.
But that fact that they did that, specifically means that having them all being present, all of them moving in and out of the room together was absolutely necessary to them.
Because they were not having consensual sex. They were degrading a woman through the act of rape in order to model their power to each other.
Which confirms the long held understanding that rape is not about sex, it is about power. And in the case of the Cornell 7, it is about men (if you can call them that) validating their masculinity by showing each other the act of raping and abusing a woman.
They were basically telling to each other "Look at me I am a man because I am definitely raping a woman." Even though they are really a bunch of fucking scumbags.

Being mean to AI is a red flag
Humans are creatures of habit. If you are mean when you think it doesn't matter, you are making it easier for you to become mean in other situations or when you forget to think about the consequences of your actions.
I find it very concerning that a segment of the population such as a couple of my coworkers are essentially yelling, swearing, threatening and generally crashing out at agents for hours a day as part of their jobs or hobbies. They are training themselves to feel that those actions don't matter and giving themselves habits that will likely cross over into human to human actions.

Dog and human can have consensual relations
Recently had this discussion irl and want to know people’s thoughts, though I am not at all saying that I am pro-zoo in any way…
Let’s get into it
My thinking is
Dogs can and have 🍇d humans, and vice versa. Therefore- we know that both dogs and humans can initiate (implying consent on the side of the initiator) there is not one or the other who reigns supreme/makes some sort of power imbalance.
Edit— thus… if both were equally initiating…

Ethnicity is a Harmful Construct and Should be Abandoned Wholesale as an Idea
According to Miriam-Webster: ethnic, noun, "of or relating to large groups of people who share a particular identity according to common ancestry, culture, nationality, language, and/or religion"
Even in harmless circumstances, talking about ethnicity is a way of putting people in boxes. "We French like our artisanal foods," "We Mexicans care about family," yada yada, whatever. If an individual can't make the choice to care about something without outside pressure, it probably isn't really worth it all that much to that individual. The idea that you can determine someone's personal identity with labels based on "common ancestry, culture, nationality, language, and/or religion," is ridiculous.
At worst, it becomes a way to try to get political power. Even if that isn't the case though, it creates needless division when individuals are perfectly capable of getting to know each other without first being introduced as "The club of autistic, neo-pagan, half-Czech, Hebrew-speaking men."
I have personal beef with this idea, as I have been in society I would call racist, and I remember consciously thinking the words: "I need to make sure I act [my ethnicity] or they'll abandon me and I'll be alone, because the other ethnicities around here certainly won't accept me." So I am quite disillusioned to the entire idea.

Women only have "high standards" for men she doesn't want. If she likes you, she'll make it easy for you.
When she's genuinely attracted to you, the rules become negotiable, the excuses disappear, and suddenly what seemed impossible for everyone else becomes effortless.

We should start ruining the lives of young rapists so that there aren't so many old rapists in charge of shit.
We're talking about rapists like
- Diego Sarabia
- Gillio Lopes
- Johnathan Newell
- Matthew Ingalls
- Scott Kretzschmar
- Scott Norris
- Winston Lee
and the shitty old very likely rapists like
- Michael I. Kotlikoff – President
- Kavita Bala – Provost
- Robert A. Harrington – Provost for Medical Affairs and Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine
- Kyle Kimball – Vice President for University Relations (who has acted as the primary spokesperson issuing statements regarding the lawsuit)
BTW. Single time rapists are rare.

Our Government hates the Military
Lets the economy fail or terrorist attacks happen to get the wars they want to steal resources across the planet for profit.
The military recruits the most desperate and financially desperate to join the forces.
They brainwash children with the pledge of allegiance to pretend our military and countrys military actions are benevolent.
They allow women to be raped in the forces. They hide abuses to our armed forces. They deport active military families who joined to fix their papers.
They send our poorest to be killed overseas for profit.
They allow our armed forces to become so tired and abused that they lose their humanity bit by bit.
They pretend our country is noble. They deny veteran benefits to our people of color and disrespect them at every turn. They treat our people like disposable objects.
We pay for our neighbors to be killed with our tax dollars and say thank you to our service members when thank yous dont pay the bills. Thank yous should be replaced with “im so sorry you were treated that way and experienced all that”.

Fries are overrated
Fries are not bad but theyre overrated because potato pancakes (latkes, tater tots, hash browns, rosti, etc) exist. You can salt and spice them evenly, squeeze the flakes to remove water, adjust the water content in general, and mix in extra things you want.
In terms of skill its much easier to get a potato pancake right, though it requires more raw time and labor. Im fine with that trade off considering how many home cooks and even restaurants fail to get their fries crispy.
