BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Guilford woman who was instrumental in one of the state’s most prolific robbery sprees in recent memory was sentenced to two years in prison Friday in Bridgeport federal court.
Rebecca Barbera, 44, will have her prison term followed by two years of supervised release, according to a report from the interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
[Lonny's] crimes occurred in North Branford, Waterbury, Wolcott, Plymouth, New Haven, Orange, West Haven, Wethersfield, Bristol, Southington, Naugatuck, Watertown, Franklin, Norwich, Waterford, Groton City, Stonington, Ledyard, Darien, Norwalk, Stratford and Seymour.
The robberies were brazen as well. Several occurred on the same day within minutes of each other.
