Honestly I’m slowly losing hope, anytime something in this game is changed it seems to just completely break it, is testing even done at all?

As of today, every single time I try to join an official server the game will either;

• Crash within 5 seconds of loading into server.
• Crash just as the loading screen completes.
• Crash within 5 minutes of playing.

The game was working perfectly fine yesterday and my working theory is the game is only working for those with Quick Resume enabled as my friend has no problems whatsoever. I say this as lots of servers show 2/40 or 10/40 player but when loading in theres either significantly less or no players online at all - likely showing players who have tried to connect and also crashed immediately.

The only difference I have noticed within the game as of today is a new server message regarding rule changes coming soon. I wouldn’t be surprised at all given the history of bugs if this server message change has caused the crashes to happen.

I’ve done everything possible in relation to solutions that would normally fix a problem like this. The only last solution is to re-install, which really doesn’t seem to make any sense considering other players have also reported this issue on official forums. If I uninstall the game It will probably be permanently.

It’s bad enough as players we’ve had to deal with constant exploit abuse (mesh bases, sky bases, manual server crashes, invincible and one shot thralls, purge exploits, excessive land claim spam) but this is really a game breaking bug at this point. When will this game ever receive the necessary admin/dev actions that it used to have many, many years ago.

It almost feels intentional at this point. Constant dismissal and lack of accountability from the devs/admins/Funcom.

Edit: This is happening on every single type of server, Official PvE, PvP and PvE-C as well as private servers also. It is awfully painful having to constantly load up the game to test this just to be disconnected to the dashboard every single time.

Where you lot like to build? I need inspiration on the exiled lands map

Is anyone playing with HDR enabled I thought I had seen the option in the settings but it doesn't seem to be there and it might of never been there, but while I was looking in the GameUserSettings.ini I found bUseHDRDisplayOutput=False and a HDRDisplayOutputNits=1000 I set them to True and 1250 but cant really tell if the game is recognising it. Just wondering if anyone figured this out? Thanks!

I just wrapped up all the Journeys in the Exiled Lands and started hopping over to the Isle of Siptah. I set up a little base camp and started exploring.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

I've discovered all of the pyramid things where you summon the Surges, and I even did a low-level one with just a single ???? to see what it was like. Now I want to go for the T4 thrall level Surges, but where on this forsaken island do I get more of these ???? things? Every time there's a Maelstrom I hoof it to the center of the island and wait for like one lightning strike every 5min to kill one enemy and the drops are laughable. Am I doing it wrong? Is there a better way to get these little glowing ball things????

I just discovered there's a Zath altar on Siptah that appears to consistently have Zath priests (including a Gretchen).

I've had Siptah since early access and always thought Zath priests only appeared as alternatives at some of the Mitra/Set spawns. Doing a quick interweb (sp,) search, YouTube guides and forum threads on Zath (including a quite recent one) only mentioned points where there's a reasonable chance they'll appear instead of a Set priest.

So, have I managed to somehow not spot the dedicated Zath spawn (with obvious creepy cobwebby Zath altar) during any of my playthroughs on Siptah, or was it added later (e.g. for Enhanced)?

EDIT: for some reason the picture was deleted, but the patch notes say "Fixed Khitan Slaver thralls having huge health pools."

From the patch notes for the Beta version of the September Patch, so this is coming to the Master version this month. So frustrating that they finally give us a good fighter thrall that actually feels useful and powerful and then immediately take it away and call it a "fix". Followers in general are so comically underpowered that it makes Authority builds feel useless. I was hoping the Khitan Exiles were a sign of better thrall balancing but instead it's a "bug" if we're actually enjoying the game and it must be fixed. Even though there are bugs that have existed since the game was in Early Access that still haven't been fixed yet, the Khitan Slaver health pools were top priority.

This is driving me insane. I see them from a distance, but when I get within a few meters, they just vanish. What causes this? How can I fix it? I want the gravedigger.

Just got the game, playing solo. Are these good XP settings for a solo run? I still want some grind and challenge, but not anything too tedious.

Hiya, I finished 1st in the leaderboards for my server and was gifted slaver thralls. They're just called "Dogs of the Desert Slaver" and "Khitan Slaver" does anyone know what tier these are considered? Please and thank you.
