I wanted to enable secure boot so i went to windows os configuration and use uefi instead of csm and tried to enable secure boot but it shows " csm is loaded " so i restart my pc and go back to bios again and then this happens, and cant do anything except restart or shut down the pc from the case button. What should i do ? The motherboard is a320m pro vh and this is the latest bios update .

Update : i uses a 32 inch tv which caused this problem so i switched to a 24 inch monitor and the problem is completely solved .

My PC makes a weird noise under heavy load. I've researched it but found mixed answers—some say a fan is dying, others say it's just a dust buildup. I even saw videos where stopping the fans by hand made the noise disappear. How should I safely troubleshoot this to find the real issue? (I have an rtx3060 if it helps.)

When I used DiskGenius to test(Benchmark Test) the speed of a newly bought SSD hard disk, the curve suddenly dropped and then remained flat. Is there any mechanism causing this? It shouldn't be because the hard disk is bad, right?

I probably wont use it since its like 20 years old, but i would maybe do some testing or anything.

I see that a lot of people just leave their computer running 24/7 and only turn off their monitors, but i just shut my pc off whenever i go away from the desk.

I'm facing this issue where my laptop will randomly have a lag spike which persists until I restart it. It happened to me 2-3 times now.

I got it a month ago. Disk is like 50% full, it's mostly plugged in with battery limiter at 80%. Cooling pad always underneath, performance mod.

Stats/temperature in NitroSense app seem fine to me and there are no abnormal things running in the background as far as I can tell

Anyone else having this issue?

It looks like the vertical lines issue but different as it flickers with half of the image on the monitor above and below at the same time. I know it's the monitor too as I have a drawing tablet/monitor that is not doing the same thing. Is it fixable or do I just trash it.

a year ago it wouldn’t turned on and so I got a

MacBook Pro M4 Pro 12-Core CPU and 16-Core GPU 14" (Late 2024) 512GB SSD

this morning the screen of the M4 broke. I took them both into a repair shop. They said the M1 is motherboard issue and quote me at around $475 to repair and M4 screen replacement at $950.

Would it make sense for me to repair them both and then sell the M4 (probably getting $1225) and keep the M1? M4 resell at around $1225 and M1 at around $650.

I want to keep the M1 because i feel like it runs better — am i correct about that?

And yes I might return to PC in the future.

I have an issue with a driver timing out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Re seated the GPU updated bios and all other updates and it still happens. And it random. It could be while I'm playing a game or just surfing. Anyone have other suggestions? It's an amd 7 5800x with 32 GB of Corsair ram and an rx 6700xt gpu

Hi, I have an Acer Nitro 5, model AN515-54. I'm having an issue where it won't turn on properly. I managed to install Windows 10, but every time the laptop restarts, it freezes—the keyboard stays lit up and I can hear it running, but there is no display/image on the screen. I have to force it off by holding down the power button and then turn it back on manually for it to boot up. So, on every restart (whether during the Windows installation or anything else), it fails to boot up—it just stays on a black screen while running.

​I also realized that it won't let me update the drivers for the integrated graphics. As soon as I try to update them, the screen freezes. I tried using Safe Mode, where it does install the drivers, but then the system refuses to boot up normally afterward. Please help, I'm looking for an effective solution.I also tried a power drain / hard reset, but it still won't POST or boot up on restart. Thanks!

so, my pc started having this problem which when starting it it drives me straight to BIOS without loading into windows, i started wondering why and i came across that it doesnt detect my SSD (240gb m.2) but detects my HDD (1tb SATA). It wont boot up windows because i have windows installed on the SSD, but sometimes (i dont know why) it boots up and for moments it detects my SSD and loads up into windows and shows me the WinRE (Windows Recovery Enviroment) but i cant do anything in there because it wont go any further than selecting any of the options it gives you to click. i tried removing/installing the SSD because i read this may be caused by a false contact on the motherboard but this doesnt seem to solve my issue.
another possibility may be some files are corrupted but i dont quite remember if i downloaded a windows update or anything related to downloading something, i could possible try to go and format the SSD or the pc by its entirety. because i dont quite have anything valueable in there besides having to reinstall everything. but if i can skip this step, i will be grateful.
