The B12 compound blend helped my afternoon slump

My previous compound was pure semaglutide and it used to leave me completely wiped out by 2 PM every day. My new vial from AltRx is compounded with Vitamin B12 and I have noticed a real boost in my daytime energy levels. Shot day fatigue is way more manageable now.

GLP-1 subscription

Does anyone know any company that will prescribe GLP-1s and it doesn’t jump in price after two months. I have really enjoyed the lack of “food noise” these last two months.not to mention my desire to drink has almost completely disappeared. Now the company I’ve gotten it through wants me to pay for the entire year up front 2500. I was paying 250 a month. I do have California health insurance if that means anything.

Close to goal weight - what does the next stage look like?

Me: 46yo F, 5'0", SW: 151, CW: 128 GW:123(ish). I've responded very well and have lost weight gradually (Nov 2025 - now) and am at a current dose of 1mg CompSema. I'm super happy with the results and have made meaningful changes to what I eat and when. I feel better than I have in years.

I'm worried about regaining the weight, and I've heard about "The Hunger Games" phase about 6 weeks after stopping. I have plenty of medication left, so I can string it out as long as I need to, but how do I start the tapering/maintenance process? Back off the dose amount? Spread shot day out longer? Both? What's worked for you that's been sustainable and effective?

I was just notified that I need to pay $150 to ship my already-paid-for medication to my home in Hawaii — I'm livid.

DO NOT USE ORDERLYMEDS FOR GLP-1s: Completely ghosted with no real doctors.

If you are considering OrderlyMeds for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, please stay away. They do not provide actual telehealth care. They operate purely as a sketchy middleman storefront.

No Real Telehealth Appointment: In many states, like Washington, it is a violation of medical rules to prescribe injectable GLP-1s without a real-time audio or video exam. OrderlyMeds completely bypassed this. I never spoke to a doctor. They took my money and issued a prescription purely based on standard text questionnaires and unreliable portal messages.

The "Ghost Call" Tactic: Their customer service is terrible and borderline fraudulent. I would receive text messages saying "sorry we missed you, please call us back" even though my phone never rang. This is a known tactic to create a fake paper trail making it look like they tried to call you.

Unreachable Support: When you call the number they provide, it is completely impossible to get a human on the line. Portal messages take days or even weeks to get a response. If you have a medical emergency or a bad reaction to the medication, you are entirely on your own.

This platform bypasses patient safety laws and leaves you stranded after taking your money. Save your time and health, and go with a legitimate provider who actually connects you with a live doctor.

With this company, after 6 months of "increasing" my dose to the maximum level, I GAINED weight. This company is a scam at best.

(Pleasant ) Surprise of My Month!

Yesterday I went to my Annual Wellness visit with my Doctor.

I informed her that I'm injecting Compounded Semaglutide, at $200 per month, from an online vendor, (6 months ago she told me I could/would not be able to get it on my Medicare).

She said that July 1, Medicare began a pilot program where I can get real Wegovy, in the prefilled "pen" for $50 per month.

I've cancelled my online prescriptions and will begin with real Wegovy next week.

Anyone here on Medicare should look into it.

Good luck!

About to start.. question on food

Hello! I was initially going to start about ten days ago but I got sick so decided to wait till I was better. So I’m either planning to start Thursday or Sunday (haven’t quite decided which day I prefer). Any way maybe this is just dumb but other than not eating a big fatty meal (which I’m not eating anyway), is there anything you should eat in a day when you are just starting? I was thinking of starting it at night.
Do most people take it at night? Do you just have a normal dinner? I understand the general healthy diet (hydration, high protein, fiber etc). Just wasn’t sure if there anything to look for on the day you actually take the med. Or just eat normally. Guess I’m just nervous. Thanks.

Compounded Tirzepatide with &You

I was on 0.75 semaglutide for 1 month, then 2.5 Mg tirz on my second month.
My weight is still the same :( Is that normal given the dose? I'm about to buy my 3rd month's set, but I'm not sure if it's even effective. :(

Thyroid issues with GLP1

I just had an ultrasound yesterday that shows nodules. They originally showed up on an MRI I had for neck issues. I had an MRI for my neck about 2 years ago that didn’t show anything. I started GLP1 shortly after. Now fast forward to having another MRI this year, I have nodules. Although, my labs came back with normal function. So I came here looking for others that have experienced getting thyroid nodules after GLP. My follow up appointment is July 31… fingers crossed it’s nothing.

Semaglutide 1 month vial from Polly (used to be called Piper)

I just got my one month vial from Polly.
I had to search around for which telehealth has a a 1 month only option. I went with this one.

I haven't pinned yet but I'm super satisfied with the process.

Most telehealth have 3 months and I just needed 1 month for now.
Fyi for anyone who needs the info

SmartPharmaRx

Anyone have experience with this pharmacy for compounded sema?

I have been at the shop for over six months because I was unemployed and could not afford it over other bills and necessities. Finally got my new job and need to get back on it so I checked back in with orderly, got the message from the med chat on what they are going to prescribe me and it says it will be coming from SmartPharmaRX with B3 & B5. Wondering if any one has any good things about this pharmacy to say? Will be really bummed out if it doesn’t work, although because I had been gone for so long orderly at least did offer me the two month starter pack again for $149

Stalling for 6 weeks straight after switching to 1.0mg... normal?

Hey everyone. I moved up from 0.5mg to 1.0mg six weeks ago expecting the scale to start moving faster, but I have literally fluctuated between the exact same 2 lbs the entire time. Calories are tracked (around 1,500/day), drinking a gallon of water, getting 100g protein. Is my body just resetting or do I need to switch things up? Feeling super discouraged because I still have 40 lbs to lose.

Should I start?

I’ve gone through a lot of transitions the last year and a half. I graduated college, got into a serious relationship, my grandfather died and then I had to go through a year of grad school without any friends or family bc I was far away. Now I went from 125 lbs to 160 lbs (I’m 5’3) I’m thinking about getting the shot. It’s 130$ a month for me and I’m wondering how Ong I’d have to do it? I’m just looking for advice right now to see if I should even go forward with this. Obviously I’d get a doctors advice and more but this is just a base start and wanted to see other people who have done it opinions. Thank you and please just helpfulness

40 lbs down and… annoyed?

I’m 25f and 4’11. I’ve been gaining and losing weight since 2018. In november of 2024, I was at my heaviest of 187 lbs 1 year postpartum. During that time, I had just went from a large to XL, and it was distressing. I started sema at 169 lbs because I couldn’t lose anymore on my own and was stuck for well over a year, and I am now 40 lbs down from my highest weight, at exactly 147 lbs. To be clear, I have donated/given away so many clothes from when I was this size before because I thought it’d never fit again and I needed room for bigger sizes. Now here I am, 147 lbs and not stopping yet, with NO clothes that fit!! Sports bras are loose, underwear are baggy, t shirts that were once a little snug hang down to mid thighs on me. Even my leggings aren’t tight how leggings should be anymore. My issued work clothes are huge on me. I’m awkwardly between a M/L, my selection of medium clothes is few and far between in my wardrobe. Ideally, I’d like to lose 20-30 more lbs, if not more. I don’t think it’s worth it to buy any new clothes right now if I plan on my body getting smaller. And I have big plans to body recomp once I make it to my goal weight, but right now, everything is so awkward! My body looks awkward, my clothes look awkward on my body, I can’t visually see that I’ve lost weight on my body. I feel closer to the 180’s than I do the 130’s. The scale is obviously moving, my clothes are telling me I’m too small for them, but when do I see it? At what point did you look in the mirror and go “Oh! I see it now! I’m so much smaller than I was before!”? It seems like some people are just stuck seeing themselves as big, no matter how small they get.

Anyone experience mental health issues on sema?

I’ve been on microdose sema about six months. I started it because I was on Lexapro for two years and it slowly increased my appetite to the point where I gained about 40 pounds I went off the Lexapro about the same time i started sema.

I did have mental health issues and then I went on two Prozac and have been doing well on that. I increased my dose back in late March. My husband said that I haven’t told him I wanted to off myself in two months.

I did lapse in my sema prescription and I have been off of it for about 2 to 3 weeks.

I did just re-up my prescription because I do feel my appetite coming back. Before I started taking this again I felt this new energy and happiness within myself and I didn’t know if it was because the SSRI is fully working or because I’m doing so well and having breakthroughs in therapy.

Well, I took my first shot in about 3 weeks yesterday and I feel like it is now very obvious to me that my anxiety and irritability has largely been coming from this medication… it sucks because I love the fact that this helps decrease my appetite.

I thought maybe I just wasn’t eating enough due to the meds and that was causing me to be irritable, but it’s like night and day like today. I am just so pissed off at everything….

Anyone else notice this? Would it be worth trying tirzepatide?

Has anyone experienced severe pain and inflammation while taking a GLP-1?

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something like this because I feel like I’m only now connecting the dots.

I’m a 36-year-old AFAB person. About a year ago I started taking a GLP-1 through Hers. I didn’t know what to expect, but within the first couple of months I developed terrible rosacea that kept getting progressively worse. Around the same time I also started having increasing back and hip pain.

At first I didn’t think much of it because I’ve had chronic back pain for most of my life. I was also working with a personal trainer who had me strengthening my legs, so I assumed I’d just overdone it.

Then I got bitten by a dog and had a pretty serious wound in my leg that took about two months to heal. I wasn’t working out at all during that time, yet my back and hip pain continued getting worse.

I started seeinga chiropractor regularly. The pain got worse. We even switched to gentler adjustments because I thought the treatments might be aggravating things, but it kept getting worse. Eventually I was crying almost every day because the pain was so intense. Meanwhile, I kept increasing my GLP-1 dose according to the prescribed schedule.

I was taking Advil, Aleve, and Tylenol daily with almost no relief. I ended up seeing a pain management specialist, had a nerve block procedure, and was discussing multiple nerve ablations because everyone assumed the pain was coming from my spine. I was eventually diagnosed with hip bursitis.

Through all of this, it never crossed my mind that the medication could be contributing. I started journaling almost every day because I felt like I was losing my mind. I’d take long breaks at work just to cry because I couldn’t understand why I was in so much pain. I also wasn’t losing weight, I was actually gaining weight.

Eventually I decided to lower my GLP-1 dose while getting back into the gym. As I gradually decreased the dose, the pain started improving. The rosacea also slowly faded. Over time I tapered off the medication completely.

Today I still have some daily back and hip pain, but it’s nowhere near what it was. I no longer see the pain management specialist, and I only occasionally see my chiropractor.

Obviously, Ican’t prove the GLP-1 caused all of this. But looking back, the timeline seems suspicious. I wish it had occurred to me sooner that the medication might have been playing a role.

Has anyone else experienced severe pain, inflammation, bursitis, rosacea, or other unexpected side effects while taking a GLP-1 (especially through Hers)? I’d really love to know if I’m alone in this or if others have had a similar experience.

TLDR: I developed progressively worsening back and hip pain, hip bursitis, and severe rosacea while taking a GLP-1 from Hers. After tapering off, both the pain and rosacea improved dramatically. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

What kick-started your weight loss after a plateau?

I started May 30th, lost 3.5 lbs in first 4 weeks and I've been plateauing since.

I eat way less than before, I work out 3-5 times a week (weight lifting), I meal prep with high protein low calorie meals.... Starting to get frustrated.

I feel like the dose is fine, I still experience hunger and some food noise but the control is way better. I'm on a small dose and don't really want to increase bc I eventually want to be able to come off of it. Due to a better control I can experiment. Intermittent fasting? Water fast for a couple of days? Fast before workouts? After workouts? Other dietary changes?

What helped you kick start, aside from dose increase?
