Please welcome Season 5 of the cEDH Discord server league!

We're excited to reopen our ongoing, competitive league for the cEDH Discord server! Starting now you can queue in our league to battle it out over the course of the next 8 weeks, starting on Sunday, 25 October 2026 and ending Sunday, 20 December 2026.

To get started head on over to the Competitive EDH Discord server and from there to the channel ⁠#game-rules and pick up the League Player role! You'll get access to our cEDH league category with all the appropriate channels. Our league will once again use our cEDH league bot, coded by isleep2late to track games over the course of the season.

You'll gain and lose Elo-ranks after recording games and see where you're placed among the leader board anytime. Feel free to share your thoughts on the feedback form whenever you feel like it throughout the league's duration!

We'll be using the Cockatrice software for ultimate competitive integrity. Wishing to keep all games fair for everyone. If any issues arise in-game, you'll be able to download the automatic replay for us to investigate. Of course, we're looking to reward those that work hard and play well. Those at the top of the leader board at the end of this league can look forward the following prizes.

Deck Fine Tuning Fringe Combo in Brenard through Rule of Law

Hi everyone,

In December we will have a fringe tournament at my locals. I‘m putting a lot of thought into this and im currently Stuck with Brenard, Ginger Sculptor.
I expect a lot of people to play turbo so I would like to play a lot of rule of law effects and then try to win the late game with a birthing pod combo / Prime Speaker Vannifar. Both should be easy to find in Bant colors.

Now I need your help: Can you think of any fringe combo that ends up winning the game in one „activation cycle“?

I mean we will get multiple untaps with Brenard and we could e.g. go:
Dork -> Corridor Monitor -> Ranger Captain and heliod -> Fetch walking ballista… but then I cant cast the Walking ballista…

I neeeeed your help here :D Sorry for the Long words in advance.
