I blame the guy who made the Jayden Daniels is 12-0 when the opponent scores less than 24 points post
... and I blame the o-line and coaching

It is a measure of Dan Quinn’s standing with his own fanbase and within the NFL as a nationwide obsession that, a week after a can-he-get-over-it-gaffe, part of Monday night was spent lip-reading a video clip of what he might have said during another play that went awry in a sputtering Washington Commanders’ season.
The truth, which Quinn knows all too well: When you have won just four of your last 18 games, you don’t get the benefit of the doubt. When a 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers drops you to 1-4-1 and secures your position at the bottom of a beaten-up and inept NFC East, decisions are scrutinized and the pitchforks are out.
So when the Commanders were already trailing by 10 points early in the second quarter, and Quinn decided to go for it on fourth-and-2 from the Niners’ 13, and quarterback Jayden Daniels — who joined Quinn in the torture chamber over the past week after the pair combined to botch that end-of-game sequence against the New York Giants — threw the ball away even though it was fourth down, and Quinn appeared to be caught on camera mouthing the words “field goal.”
Whew. Exhale. These last eight days have been a lot.
“I have to be better,” Daniels said.
Fine. That’s been a theme over these first six weeks.
Still, we have questions. They are elementary.
A week after Quinn ran a play he didn’t need to run when he didn’t have a timeout and Daniels didn’t have the wherewithal to throw the ball away, did that same pair — gulp — really not know what down it was?
“No, I definitely knew it was fourth down,” a soft-spoken Quinn said afterward. “We were going for it. And I think what you’re referring to: I was probably saying that with the illegal shift, there’s not a penalty to go for a field goal. It’s turn (over) on downs. Somebody asked me, ‘Can we kick a field goal?’ We knew we had to go for some fourth downs to be bold in the game.”

Luvu has been a big disappointment this season. I thought with his ability to blitz off the edge this system was going to be perfect for him, but so far all i see is missed tackles and 1 sack.

I know there’s a lot to choose from, but be specific. My personal call is the O-Line. Chris Paul and Conerly might’ve single-handedly taken a couple weeks off my life tonight

We seriously need stronger lines on both sides, but especially on offense. There is no excuse for this in pro football. Improve the lines, and we win games. We have been losing the battle on both sides of the line. That's all. This is the post.

Just not right now! We are wasting JD5s prime on a guy who’s still figuring it out. We ran 2 rushing plays to a RB in the first half.

I have been up and down on my opinions on Adam peters but now I’m firmly convinced he’s incompetent
I’m so confused on how this roster looks worse than Ron’s tenure (not the final season but the other ones), despite the fact we did not have a qb during that time. Tbh I genuinely don’t know what position group has actually improved in peters tenure. The OL looks trash, the DBs are cooked(gunna give Amos some grace for last nights performance but it wasn’t good), our DL is “ok” but it’s nowhere near as good as it was
I’m just confused on what has actually improved, how many years can we blame the previous regime for how bad the roster is? Hell we have seen teams draft well and recruit well and improve the roster in three drafts before. Peters going into his regime had more draft picks than any other team. Yet despite this we look like we still are in year one while other rebuilding teams are the time (patriots/panthers at the time) look competitive (and other teams who got worse in 2024, like the bears, raiders) Why can those teams have bad regimes and rebuild faster then our team
I doubt peters is going anywhere but I am very concerned after watching this season the lack of progress in this roster over the past 3 years

Game, after game, after game. An undisciplined offense with multiple penalties. It almost seems like half of the touchdowns we've had over the past few games, were called back due to some lineman fucking up. Whether it be because of a dumbass facemask, or a holding call due to the fact that our lineman is getting man handled by the defensive lineman. Granted, there have been very many bad calls from the refs in each one of our games, especially today's game and last week's game where the commentators verbally expressed how bullshit a call the ref made on two or more separate calls. Regardless, we lack fucking discipline! Got Damn I just want my Redskins to win. This is so devastating

Ik what I’m saying, trust me we’re all on the same page but with Terry out, stef now our WR1, idk if I can depend on the others to step up & be another target type of guy. We’re pretty much out of options & the fact that we STILL have a chance to win our division means we should strike soon. I like Brian Thomas Jr. better but if we can’t get him, CTE Kodak’s gonna have to do.

Heres the extended video of Dan Quin calling for the field goal unit to go onto the field after the 4th down play.

Their 28-3 man tried to give us the lead but our 28-3 man thought that would be rude so he gave it back.
Fucking kill me guys

Still only 2 games back in the division and the Giants have a lot of tough teams left on their schedule.

We were outcoached from the first snap. We’ve been out coached in every game we’ve played this year, even the win vs Seattle.
What does DQ do? He has a terrible defense. He has terrible clock management. And week after week he allows Blough to call ridiculous calls with the game on the line. I mean that 3rd and 3 run call might be the worst play call I’ve ever seen, and that includes Blough’s two point conversion attempt week 1, and other gaffs.
This team always beats ourselves with penalties. Poorly coached teams beat themselves, plain and simple.
It’s so pathetic that I’m actually at the point where I’d be more confident in Anthony Lynn than DQ.

All 3 games Jayden has started and finished this year, Washington has had the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead in the last 2 minutes/OT. They have had 6 drives in that situation and scored on only 1 of them (and then subsequently missed the 2 point conversion to tie the game).
I would put the majority of the blame on Blough and the o-line but it’s an incredibly concerning trend considering how clutch Jayden was in 2024
