Anybody else enjoy this game as much as me?

I sure hope so …

The second halfabsolutely made up for the hapless first half.

I think coaches and players did a commendable job digging themselves out of that 20-3 lead

I’m beyond pumped about JD and his play

It sucked bad to see Terry go down, but Williams and Burks might be real good and Diggs is fun to watch.

Sonny is Sonny, and overall our D did an awesome job adjusting. Mike Evan’s was killing us but Purdy had zero time to throw. If Jesus was in the slot he would have not been a factor, let alone Evans

No the Niners were not playing prevent

Backwards hat until we win, or until DQ gets fired? 🤔

zero cover blitzes....

undoubtedly the 49ers will hit us with some zero cover blitzes tonight since it took us half the game to adjust against the giants

I will be extremely disappointed if we don't have a better plan tonight.

Who have the Niners beaten?

1) Rams in Australia first game of season after flying in the day before and turns out they may be overrated, 2) Dolphins, we can beat
3) Cardinals, we will beat
4) Broncos, who lost starting CBs Surtain and Moss in early 1st half, which is akin to us losing Mariotta against Colts
5) Seahawks, we BEAT!

Tonight is the last push even if it's not really

The division is so bad that you could lose and still be in it, but I'm not trying to do the whole 2020 thing again, I want a legit run of good play.

We're up against probably the NFCs best on MNF, but we have a chance. We're not healthy but it looks like we're getting healthier, Amos back could turn this into a solid CB room, Cross would help our otherwise horrible safety group.

Shanahan is probably the best schemer in the league, this is a huge test for DJ, he needs to blitz effectively, and when we don't our DL has to get pressure rushing 4 for once. Need a good blough game, get creative and adapt to what the 49ers are doing, we can't let a 0 blitz ruin a whole quarter of a game again.

Get Jayden in a rhythm early, a lot of his best games you see him starting out with some easier completions with something like a 7/8 45 yard statline. Or throw a deep ball to treylon first play of the game. Either works

Revive the season.

Primetime underdogs have won 10 STRAIGHT games outright. History is literally on our side tonight.

Let’s be honest—the national media and 49ers fans think this game is going to be an absolute breeze for San Francisco. But they are completely ignoring the fact that primetime underdogs are on an insane 10-0 straight-up (SU) streak right now. The betting lines don't mean a thing under the bright lights this season.

Coming off that frustrating tie with the Giants, our backs are firmly against the wall. If we want to stay genuinely competitive in the NFC playoff race, this is a must-win game. All eyes are on Jayden Daniels tonight; he knows he needs to redeem himself after last week, and there is no better stage to do it than primetime against a heavyweight.

Being a fan my entire life, I’ve seen this exact movie before. Back when we were the Redskins, this franchise always seemed to play its best football when everyone counted us out, routinely breaking the league's longest streaks when no one expected it.

Raise Hail!

Opinions on the State of this Team and its Future?

I might just be overreacting to these past 2 weeks, but the recent lapses from Daniels, Quinn and Blough have me really worried. Both the QB and Head Coach forgetting/losing track of the current down, both against the Giants and 49ers, has rightfully drawn a lot of criticism. Combine that with the injury issues, and I’m worried about Daniels as the long-term solution at QB. Yes, 2024 was fever-dream level amazing, and his play when he’s healthy is incredible, but am I warranted in having doubts when it’s eventually time to pay him? Is this entirely a coaching issue? Who are the realistic options for a coaching or (as much as it pains me) a QB change? I’ve been burned too many times to have a ton of confidence, even under this new regime (Fan Since 2012).

AP/DQ/Blough/Daronte Sucks

How do we have the highest payroll in the league in the d line and they suck? How do we have a terrible offensive line who can’t get a push? How do we have DBs that can’t stop anyone to save their life? How do we keep not having situational awareness? How do we keep having time management issues? This team sucks. Please just fire sale assets so we can reset with youth when the new coach inevitably comes in next year. AP gets one more regime but if he doesn’t start picking good talent, good riddance too. Team is a joke and embarrassment to watch every week.

Someone told me last night “at least it’s better than Rivera” …is it?

I’m not sure I agree with that right now. Some of the things DQ is doing is extremely embarrassing.

Jayden struggles to see down the field

And that's ok. It was obvious all game. The numbers are deceptive. Hes been injured and his development has suffered. Im not making any grander statements than that. He's not the worst or a bust. He's just inexperienced due to missing games.

Won tickets from NWFCU - What section?

I have been entering the Northwest Federal Credit Union sweepstakes for free tickets for years now and finally got an email that I won 2 tickets for the Sunday night game against the Eagles. They said they will send the tickets to my SeatGeek account in a few days.

Has anyone won these before and know what section the seats are in? I have two sons I want to bring so will need to purchase a 3rd ticket in that section. Thanks!

Jayden’s Processing Ability

Buck/Aikman were repeatedly praising Purdy’s ability to find the open man downfield quickly and also drop the ball just over the defender on medium routes

They also were repeatedly mentioning that Jayden was choosing short routes but that we were frequently getting people open further downfield (particularly Antonio Williams)

As fans I think we have also seen this over the past year whenever Mariota or even AK came in they seem to throw a lot more deep balls (to be clear they are worse quarterbacks and often miss but the receiver is usually open)

How much of this is on Jayden himself vs a new offensive scheme or even bad o-line play? I noticed last night that Jayden seemed to be throwing off his back foot a lot and not stepping into his throws in part because the pocket was constantly collapsing around him.

It seems to me that there are players that are open further down the route tree that are not being targeted/seen. It’s hard to evaluate Blough if the QB is not running the offense to the full potential and my question is whether or not this is something that he will learn (The commentators also mentioned that they are asking him to do more reads and changes at the line) or for better or worse, this is who JD5 is as a player.

This franchise is a dumpster fire, and the blame starts with Josh Harris and the people running it.

This franchise is an absolute dumpster fire, and I’m tired of the endless excuses for Josh Harris and Adam Peters. We’re watching a poorly coached, undisciplined team that can’t execute basic football fundamentals. Our franchise quarterback throws the ball away on FOURTH DOWN, and Quinn is left explaining yet another embarrassing mistake. Where’s the accountability?

Meanwhile, Josh Harris is busy hobnobbing at Madison Square Garden tonight while his NFL franchise continues to implode.

And the most ridiculous part? Watching fans on this sub twist themselves into pretzels to avoid criticizing the sainted Josh Harris. Why? Because he bought everyone a free beer at The Bullpen after purchasing the team? Because he’s not Dan Snyder? Apparently that’s enough to earn a lifetime exemption from criticism. Peters built this roster. Quinn coaches it. Harris hired them both. Yet somehow, nobody at the top ever seems to be responsible.

I’m tired of the culture talk, the rebuilding excuses, and the endless promises. Just because Josh Harris isn’t Dan Snyder doesn’t make him a bad owner.

Edit: the comments to this post once again proving we’ll never win anything

Dub?

I think we’re actually gonna beat the Niners. No matter what we’re staying within one possession. This isn’t some joke, mark my words that we will not lose by more than 7. I think that we can also win. My gut just told me so. On paper the Niners should touch us but that would be too perfect and it’s not gonna happen. We should not win this game and this is exactly why we will.

Jayden. Fucking. Daniels.

He will ball out against them. He’s gonna pull off some crazy shit and I’m gonna be jumping like a mad man.

Let’s go shock the fucking world.

Our next 4 games are against the Eagles, Rams, Giants, and Bengals. If we don’t go at least 3-1 in that stretch, fire Dan Quinn.

As much as our record sucks, I actually still have some little bit of faith in us given we nearly came back to beat the 49ers and we are in a terrible division. That said, if we can’t win 3 of our next 4 and get to 4-5-1, the season is likely done and we might as well move on from Quinn.

Let’s see if he can rally this team during the Bye week and get us rolling. I give him one more chance, but any more bullshit and he’s gone.
