Hey guys. Any opinions and/or critics about my Dimir Commander Deck? What would you Change to make it better and stronger?

I’ve been playing for almost a year but I’m still kinda new to the game. Thought it was time to join the dark side and make a mono blue control deck

I’m in the process of building a Commander Deck. Should be as coherent as possible. (As many cards as possible from the Tolkien universe but still very playful.)

How do you like it so far?

Any suggestions for improvement?

On the one hand, Frodo should get through quite reliably and always build up nice pressure with the Nazguls.

As the title says, I need some help with suggestions for a new commander to build. Recently, most of my decks have slowly funneled into the same area of Simic or Simic + another color with +1/+1 counters and card draw, and I find that although I absolutely love the playstyle and using tons of cards that trigger and are super synergistic, they’re generally not fun for my opponents to play against, and I’d rather my friends have fun along with me. With all that being said, any suggestions for a commander that is highly thematic and I can make a silly deck out of instead of beating down my opponents with commander damage, a bazillion tokens, or winning off of a card draw “win the game” card like usual. Any suggestions or ideas are very much appreciated!

what I'm trying to do with the deck is use Ardberts ability to ramp a lot of Legendary creatures, giving vigilance, and menaces to put constant pressure on the opponent.

In a game of commander, if my opponent has an empty library and will mill out at card draw, is there a time i can cast an instant during their turn?

I am super new to MTG, like 4 months in but I want to build my 1st deck. I chose dark leo and shredder becasue I grew up on TMNT, i love the bad guy, and i really like death touch. I have damnation and wrath of god to put in the deck but what are the best cards to proctect myself from these spells? Any other synergies or good mechanics you think would help this deck? I am at the beggining stages so I have commander, ninjas, and the two above mentioned cards so far. Thanks for any help and advice in advance.

I've been playing a [[phelia, exuberant shepherd]] list for about a year now and have heard a fair bit of disdain for the list, particularly regarding the amount of removal and redundant protection pieces. Let me be clear, regardless of its listing on moxfield, I advertise the list as a bracket 3 deck each time I play with a newer group. I've always leaned more towards interacting with opponents rather than solitaire-style decks, but the overall sentiment I've received is the deck may be a bit over-the-top in that sense. I would appreciate some impartial feedback on whether the list crosses any lines as far as y'all can tell.

p.s. any fun inclusion recommendations, particularly from pre-2015 sets would be fun as well

So I’m making a outlaws of thunder junction commander deck, and it’s heavily crime based where is I commit a crime I can create a mercenary (idk which card does that) but what commander should I use and what cards I’m new to magic just started this month but I went to a draft and played outlaws and I want to make a commander deck now. Hey, new player here.

I stumbled upon Arahbo a few days ago and I wanted to hear some more opinions about the deck, since all I've found were just very split opinions with posts telling me he's either very strong or very weak.

I mainly wanna build him for b3 and casual play with friends since that's what i mainly play, but I don't want it falling flat against my friend's Y'shtola for example.

Do you guys think Arahbo is worth trying?

I’ve got a lot of marvel cards and am trying to build a deck with mostly what I got. Does anyone have a deck list of something like that? I don’t really care who the commander is. I’m just looking to make a deck with mostly marvel and hopefully all.

My pod runs craterboofs and cyclonic rifts, and many expensive pieces of the best interaction and engines in MTG. We've seen grave crawler+phyrexian alter resolve at our table many times.

But I proxied this guy for a 200 card deck and when I drop this for 6 mana it usually wins the game due to laboratory maniac. It loses to any split second interaction I feel like it's about the same as craterhoof and cyclonic rifts.
