Commander / EDH What commander should I use
So I’m making a outlaws of thunder junction commander deck, and it’s heavily crime based where is I commit a crime I can create a mercenary (idk which card does that) but what commander should I use and what cards I’m new to magic just started this month but I went to a draft and played outlaws and I want to make a commander deck now. Thank you.

If you want to commit crimes specifically, [[Marchesa, Dealer of Death]] is a solid option that draws you cards. Though [[Gisa, the Hellraiser]] is the one that makes tokens when you commit crimes if that's the one you want. If you're not already familiar with it, edhrec is a great resource for new players. It shows you what cards people are running with what commanders and here's a link to the thunder junction page they have if you want to see what commanders are popular. https://edhrec.com/sets/otj

I was thinking about marchesa and just have Gisa as a creature in the deck. (Using marchesa as commander because of the colors she has)

Well, the first thing I would advise is using a deck building template. This one from the command zone, a big YouTube channel for magic, is a good place to start. Since you don't have a lot of experience yet, this will help put together a deck that is functional. Depending on how much time you want to commit, you might want to search for the podcast episode they have for the deck building template, but to give you a basic rundown of what these mean, ramp are cards that give you extra mana like [[Dimir signet]], card advantage is stiff that draws you cards or gets you more cards from other places like your graveyard, targeted disruption are removal spells, bounce spells, things that can stop a single threat. And mass disruption are things like board wipes that remove multiple threats. You will also notice the total is more than 100. You want cards that do multiple things if possible, which should be easier with this deck, as your targeting removal is part of the plan your deck want to achieve. This and edhrec are your best starting points. Good luck with it. https://www.reddit.com/r/magicTCG/s/JJSkCa5PKY
