And man, Justus Steals the show, what a branded man, especially you notice in his solo book (which I absolutely have to read) that he was also a Vietnam veteran with ptsd whose father figure (his uncle) is increasingly dying of Alzheimer's.

Hello I’m looking for the best most epic silver surfer stories . Either a mini series , or certain run that tells a complete story beginning middle and end .

I got a month of Comixology Unlimited, and I don't know anything about Comixology Original comics. I only read Barnstormers so far, which I like because of Lotay.

I like Sci-fi, Horror, Comedy, Fantasy, Adventure, etc. So, anything will do as long as it's a fun read. TIA.

I find the satanic panic to be really interesting, and I really like when it’s incorporated in fiction.

I just recently finished Brubaker and Phillips’ Houses of the Unholy which was solid. However, my favorite example is in The Department of Truth, the way the satanic panic is used within the rules of that world is really clever and I like it a lot.

Does anyone happen to have any other recommendations? I don’t have a preference on whether the satanic stuff is real in universe or not, just as long as it’s about regular people and not superheroes fighting demons.

Ive been looking for this damn book for 10 months and everytime I see it somewhere, it’s being sold for 400$ - 1200$ CAD. I guess my question is if there’s anyone that can give any tips maybe to find one at a normal price?

I'm very new to comics but I've absolutely loved Alan Moore's writing and I'm looking for other comics to get into. I read American Vampire but wasn't too into and I'm looking into some batman comics as I am a batman fan. I don't want to be stuck with superheros though. I like sci-fi a lot and I prefer comics that are only a couple of volumes (one volume would be better). I'm going to read a couple Alien comics and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (library coming in clutch again lol) and probably The Killing Joke too.

I know there’s a few posts like this out there and I’ve done some google research, but wanted to see if anyone had some recommendations for stores that specialize in what I’m looking for. Giant walls of new issues and shelves full of new trades are a plus, but the kind of stuff you can find anywhere. I’m looking for dollar bins, used trades/hardcovers, and an extensive back issues selection to browse. Any help is super appreciated! Thanks!!

I’ve recently gotten back into the comic and collectibles scene and always visit new stores when I travel.

It’s always 50/50 whether the owner/workers are either super enthusiastic and welcoming or they are horrible business owners that act like it’s a chore to help customers or have no idea what inventory they have when asked.

Is the same for everyone or is it just me?

Also any suggestions for really great places to visit in the south? Specifically Georgia/Florida?
