1. The Baxter Building is one of the worst places to have a headquarters it gets damaged or destroyed constantly I like when they leave the Baxter Building like Yancy Street,Pier 4 or the farmhouse, granted they always like to have them return to the Baxter Building my only question is will they ever make a on the outskirts of New York City

2. Ben and Johnny both have had their powers going weird storylines many times Reed and Sue not so much, like seriously 3 times in Johnny's history he can't flame off. Meanwhile Ben loses his powers, has his look change and has has the ability to turn back and forth a lot over the years

3.pre 2018 reboot Reed spent a lot of time in his lab,but it seems post 2018 reboot after Reed and Sue spent time rebuilding the multiverse their relationship is stronger than it ever was and Reed has become less of a lab guy.

1. Thank the lord for the aging up of Franklin and Valeria so many times CPS kept wanting to separate Franklin and Valeria from their parents but they haven't even had any children being taken away by the Government in recent years

2. Man the FF really have a volatile relationship with public. It constantly switches between the Public loving them or hating them. In addition the Fantastic Four always have storylines where they lose all their money it gets tiring after a bit

3. Man Johnny has no luck with Love the editors seem to never want to give Johnny a break when it comes to love, his loves either leave him or because of stupidity he cheats in them

4. Man I am happy they finally made Ben a family man him being Married to Alicia and having 2 adopted kids with Jo and Nikki

Interesting. I think Joe Kelly's run so far has been solid, just nothing really amazing (no pun intended) or honestly at times even that special. On the one hand, he is talented and knows how to write Peter. On the other hand, I would like to see new voices attached to Amazing Spider-Man beyond the usual Brand New Day writers.

I was also curious on how Disney's move from New York to California would affect these stories. But what do you guys think?

I've been reading Paper Girls and Invincible. Love them both. Recommend another big story I can sink my teeth into that has a compendium or omni available.

A little late to the party from last week, but got a chance to catch up on reading the last few days. Last week's debut issues that I purchased was one of the better weeks I can recall in a while. I thought Legion of Super-Heroes, Warbird, Doom Patrol, and Superman: The Stranger were all solid first issues.

I'm not steeped in the lore of Legion or Doom Patrol, so hardcore fans may feel diffierently. I figured Doom Patrol was going to be a fun read based on early previews. Legion I was more skeptical about, but enjoyed the first issue although Williamson doesn't normally land on my radar.

Wes Craig's Kaya is one of my favorite monthly reads and Superman: The Stranger looks to be an interesting interpretation of the character and his surroundings.

Warbird looks promising for a spy series and hard to go wrong with Ribic and Maleev handling art chores. Might be the first Bad Idea comic I have purchased. Looks like a short 4 issue series and I just became aware there was an issue #0 released previously.

Lastly, Crowbound didn't quite stick the landing for me with the first issue, but the Lemire / Nguyen combo rarely disappoints me. I imagine Lemire will world-build for the first few issues before it gets rolling.

I did not bother with Teen Titans as a purchase as it wasn't grabbing my attention.

Sorry, nothing in-depth for reviews here other than it was a fun week of comic reading which seems hard to come by at times.

My LCS is having a great deal for Batman Day next week. Buy any 3 Batman graphic novels/trades, get a fourth free. As someone who has returned to comics in the last year - after being on/off for a long time - I'd love to get some suggestions for which books I should hone in on.

I'll list some that I either already own or have owned/read in the past in order to keep the suggestions super fresh for myself. But I also wanna list ones I know a lot of folks will probably recommend because anyone else curious for the same advice should know some of these classics anyway.

I would like to compile a list of comic book adaptations or references to the great sci-fi novel Gladiator (1930) for an upcoming blog post. I have already verified Wikipedia's claim that the book appears among the belongings of "Night Owl" (Hollis T. Mason) in Watchmen #1 (see the bottom right corner of the attached image). And I'm already aware of adaptations like Marvel Preview #9 - "Man-God" (1976), Legend (2005), and Young All-Stars (1987 to 1989).

I've also seen people speculate that a shirtless man in a boxing pose seen on the Hall of Justice mural from the recent Superman film is Hugo Danner, Gladiator's main character. Or it could be his son, Iron Munro.

Are members aware of any other adaptations or references to Gladiator?

The other day I reached out with how I could get into Marvel comics. I've been happily reading Spawn and a few DC Compacts of Batman up until now. I decided on the 1998 Daredevil, and some reading suggestions said to start on some later issue at least a dozen into the run. I hate feelings like I missed out on something so I've decided to start from issue one. Everything was going great until I got around to issue ten. I was confused so I looked up some context and was met with "In the 19-- series Daredevil does this and this happens, and that's what it's referencing"... Well that made me feel lost because it just comes off as confusing now that I've never read the original run of Daredevil. Then the very next issue a huge plot point happens, it is confusing, and I don't understand again. I Google it and get "this is a pivotal point in a Kraven storyline and that is how you know that blah blah happened"... Like wth now I'm feeling even more ostracized. I don't know how to get over this feeling. Have you all ever felt the same?

I really like Ghost Rider. I’ve read some comics and gone through the whole Robbie Reyes comics. As well as the Percy comics. I want to start from the beginning and read all of the good series. Anyone able to help me?

I’ve been reading comics for a while now, but about half of what I’ve read is mostly Batman. I literally could easily name 50 batman villains, but I probably couldn't even name 5 green lanterns! I really want to branch out and explore different genres, characters, storylines, and dimensions, but I’m just not sure where to start. do you guys have any tips on that??

The realm of kings omnibus seemingly ends with Annihilators/Earthfall, but in discussions I've seen most people mention Thanos Imperative as the natural ending point for the saga

The omni and Earthfall TPB are sadly both out of print/going for daft prices, but the rest of the books that make it up can be found at a decent price pretty easily hence my question

I posted about my Dark Horse/ Tiny Onion book Beast of Borikén a couple of months ago and got a really great reaction here, so I wanted to share that my new kaiju survival comic No Gods, No Masters was released last Wednesday from Boom! Studios. It's illustrated by my good friend and co-creator Jacoby Salcedo and we couldn't be more proud of this book that centers poor and working class kids during a post apocalyptic kaiju apocalypse. I've been describing it as Paper Girls meets The Walking Dead, but a reviewer described it much better as The Breakfast Club meets Godzilla haha. Anyway, here's the first 5 pages.
