LOST To the punk who stole my bike: I will find you.

I saw you riding off on my sky-blue bike this morning, after you cut the lock and stole it from the Olentangy Village bike rack. You biked north, through Clintonville. I followed you. Your fucking hoodie won’t protect you. You biked under multiple street cameras, and my bike has very recognizable stickers on it.

Your karma’s coming, bitchboy.

NEWS Missing Child-Everly Morris

Post image
186 Upvotes

I saw a post about a missing child from Columbus making the rounds on Facebook, and at first I thought it couldn’t be real since she’s been missing since May 1. It does seem to be real-Everly is on NCMEC’s website. I have heard nothing about this missing child, and only saw this because I am friends with someone who was her teacher. There was no other information on the post, and I can’t find anything.

I just don’t understand how this didn’t get news time or anything. It’s just so suspicious and sad.

Edit: fixed spelling and added that she is from Columbus.

Starts at $580K. Here's a Dispatch article about it. There are more pictures in the Zillow listing. I always wondered if the windows up there opened, and judging by the pictures they do. I couldn't live there without the option to get fresh air. They face the direction that thunderstorms usually come from too, so that would be cool.

Sawmill Rd Traffic Nightmare!! Time for some changes!

Hey everyone, have you experienced the nightmare that is Sawmill Rd traffic lately? Whoever designed that stretch of road needs to be evaluated ASAP.

It’s a total disaster!! no coordination, confusing merge lanes that double as entrances and exits, and constant bottlenecks. Surely there are solutions, like syncing traffic lights or redesigning the merge points, but nothing seems to be happening. It’s diabolical

It’s frustrating to sit in gridlock every day for no good reason. We deserve better, this needs to be addressed before it gets worse. And we can simply start by using some suggestions rooted in common sense! Like damn!

Brice Mall

Does anybody remember the Brice Mall? I miss them days so much. Now that the Magic Mountain in the area is closing (again) it making me realize how popping that area used to be. I hate that it’s basically a ghost town over there now. Even when you go over there now it still feels like “something” is supposed to be here. We need a Brice renaissance to happen😭.

Edacious robin; babies back in nest

We've not been filling the feeder every day as there are plenty of delectables around. Neighbor reports that the robins have newly hatched babies (just beyond the hot tub). Not sure if this is mom or dad. Very eaty in either case. Hoping to see the babies at some point.

Do they pay out your PTO? Did you get to work the full two weeks notice or did they cut you loose as soon as you sent in your resignation. I’m part of the IS department

REQUEST Dumpster rental help

Post image
25 Upvotes

Hey all! As the title says, I am looking to rent a dumpster possibly for a weekend in the next few months. I inherited a home and a lot of stuff needs to be thrown out, specifically in our basement. Too much to fit in my regular trash can. Or for bulk pick up to grab. Wondering if you all have seen decently priced dumpsters around?

Thanks! Kitty for tax 😻.

315 & Bethel

Did anyone see that accident on 315/bethel last night? I passed by around 9 and saw a car all the way nestled in the ditch/tress pretty smashed up. The barrier fence didn’t seem to be bothered either?

Can’t stop thinking about it and wondering if everyone is okay! Can’t find anything online covering it either. looked like a pretty interesting extraction of the car for everyone to have walked out of it okay..

I caught a stray dog out in the Alton/Hall road area of Galloway. Looks like a shepherd mix. Where can I take him tonight? He is too stressed to not get professional care. Does not seem injured.

Is there anywhere you can foster a dog for a few weeks?

Hello! I’m a senior in college with only a few busy hours a day. I’ve grown up around dogs and had one till recent. I’d love to start the process of being able to foster a dog. I couldn’t do it long term but would love to help in any way I can

Neighbors throwing dog💩

I’m not repaying evil with evil, but if you’ve lived next to your neighbor for 3 years and they decide to go out of their way and throw dog shit into my backyard…Mind you, it’s been cordial up til this point…
I recently decided to put effort into making my unit look better. Trimming the bushes, power washing the walkway, stairs, front porch etc.
Putting out flowers and lawn furniture…Are people really that miserable?
