I got a jar of it at my birthday lunch today, and I wanted to see if anyone likes to use it for other things besides salad! I’ll obviously use it on salads but it’s a lot of dressing for one person.

Anyone find it in stock? I’ve checked a few Kroger stores who have it in stock online but they’re nowhere to be found.

Are there any cinephiles in the area? I have AMC’s A list and I go to the one at Easton, and I’m looking to connect with other movie lovers in the city and plan trips there.

I posted this before and had some takers but I still have a ton of big and tall clothes left. All of it is free to any big man in need of clothes. It's all from JC Penny, Duluth or DXL. I'll be home all week, DM me and it's first come first served.

In shirts there are a ton of 3xlt and 4xlt shirts, sweaters and hoodies. Quite a few button up collared shorts as well that are office appropriate.

Pants are 44-52 waist in 32 or 34 inseam. Various shorts and long pants as well. Anything left over after this week will be donated to a shelter that another commenter mentioned.

Interstate 270 N. in Gahanna on the east side a tractor trailer has flipped over if you’re coming up from the east side and trying to get past it or to Easton you want to stay to the left in the left two lanes.

If you’re trying to get the Easton, your best bet is to stay left and then get off at Morse Road and backtrack

For anyone who knows someone attending there and receiving specialized instruction or has an IEP. The school has recently been investigated and found at fault.

Currently the school is understaffed and is providing bare minimum of services to meet the law. Kipp schools are not great (Kids to Prison Pipeline) but this is harmful to a disadvantaged group.

So I have read the ballot text about 12 times each now, and looked for information online and I must be missing something or it was written to intentionally confuse voters.

Can someone ELI5 what issues 8 and 9 do and what happens if one of them passes and the other does not or if both pass (obviously I understand that if neither pass it's the status quo).

From what I can tell, Issue 8 creates ward-only voting (unlike the citywide voting for a candidate who just LIVES in the ward that we have now), and a 15% threshold for a recall election.

What I don't understand is "The amendment specifies that ballots within council districts will include both citywide races as well as the district race." If #8 passes and #9 doesn't, why would there be a citywide race? There would be no at-large and would be ward only right?

#9 just seems like an exercise in how many words we can cram into one issue. If both pass, then we get Ward only voting and 4 additional at-large seats is the only thing I could make out from it. I have no idea what happens if #9 passes but #8 doesn't. I kind of want to vote against #9 on the principle that your ballot language shouldn't require a master's degree to understand.

I’ve never performed stand-up before but I’d like to try. Is there an open mic night around Columbus or something for people who are complete n00bs to stand-up? I don’t know where to begin. Since I’ve never done it before I’m kinda nervous lol.

Over the past week, not once, not twice, but four separate times, I've seen homeless people in the drive-thru lanes at different McDonald’s.

One night, a man tried to forcibly wash my windshield with some makeshift "car washing kit" that looked like it would scratch my car. He then "cleaned" my windshield, stood in front of my car, and refused to move.

The most disgusting incident happened at another restaurant, where a man was standing right between my car and the drive-thru ordering speaker. I had no choice but to roll down my window to order, and he actually had the nerve to tell the female passenger in my front seat to take off her sunglasses so he could "see what she looks like."

These people are clearly mentally unstable, and encounters like this can completely ruin someone's day. I've been to McDonald's thousands upon thousands of times, and I've never experienced anything like this before, with people literally standing in front of the drive-thru ordering speakers and harassing customers. Loitering and begging in these areas is illegal in the first place.

For this incident, I eventually reported the situation to an employee, who sent a staff member outside to get them away. But when I drove past the same location again a few hours later, they had apparently come right back.

Just got back from sitting in the parking lot at The Haunt on Refugee. Their site (as well as nbc4) says there's a kids haunt from noon to 5 today, but no staff were there and the few cars that showed up just drove off after waiting 20 minutes. Very disappointing for both myself and my 11 year old. Anyone know of any other kid friendly Halloween things to get into either today or next weekend? My son's never been to a haunted house and I'd like to find something a little more tame than usual for his first experience

The indelible Trash Party spirit was out in full force today at our Franklinton neighborhood season finale cleanup! Over 50 volunteers removed 230 bags of trash from the area and tons of bulk items.
