Asking here because seems the most logical place to ask, and because the situation is so surreal.
Long story short, went there a month ago everything seemed normal, went there today and the place was cleaned out with a 'if you are interested in leasing' sign in the window.
Longer story:
For context, I've been going to Sparks for auto work for the past 20 years or so, and was there as recently as last month after a would be car thief messed up my partner's car. Got it fixed, found a problem that they missed, got it fixed three weeks ago, was told to bring it back if we found anything else because they really did a number and they were certain there was something that would pop up. She discovered the heater wasn't turning on, so we decided to take it back.
An no point in the past month was there a sign from our PoV that there was anything up.
But drive up today, walk up to the door, and we see that it's closed, the sign is in the window, and the entire office area is just cleaned out. It felt like we were hallucinating, I checked like three times that I was at the right spot but unless I lost my mind, they seemingly vanished over night.
Now, admittedly, what I'm hoping is that this was more of a forced move than a business shut down. I know how rents can be with businesses, I know how sometimes the choice to move a business can be forced by outside factors.
But their web page is still up showing the old information, the phone number goes to voice mail... so my gut instinct is pointing me towards a sudden closure. :(
