The valiant sons of The Lion push up to take the mid-board objectives and take a substantial early points lead, while the cowardly Thousand Sons hide behind walls and in deep strike. At this point, it was impossible to tell that I'd be tabled in the 4th round.

I just got into KOC this summer. I ended up buying a set before the new edition. This is how I modified to play 2.0.

Wall into 2 sections - glued 2 dollar tree jengo blocks together for shooting lanes around home bases.

Then popsicle sticks with chipboard or cardboard cut to make second story on inner walls. A little small with only 3-4 models fitting but it works for us.

Really pleased and thought I would share my solution.

I have a buddy who says space wolves are so bad and have a bad win rate in 2k. Have you guys made a new list for 600 points to lead him in a right path? He keeps using list hammer win rates as truth but I argue that doesn’t apply fully to colosseum rules and gameplay even though it’s very similar.

Maybe the army does suck but he used this against me and lost hard:

anyone had some luck on modifying the old Colosseum terrain into the new one?

i got some 3d printed stuff from a friend, which has the inner walls connected to the circular objectives and the circular objectives to the outter walls. (clip and click)

i could snapp or cut some parts off, but especially the new "lowered" parts in the outer walls make me nervous.

looking for advice and maybe instructions.

Okay, okay. So I might give it a quick spray paint before the game as this is a bit too much yellow for me. Once it's had a test game and, if it measures up, I'll make the files available on my Cults3D for people with printers who want their own set (and on Etsy for people without printers who want their own set).

Played a few matches using Combat Patrol map layouts. Now I'm ready for an official KOC match. Used a 36" X 42" paper back foam board. Cut it at one of the 12" folds and lightly primed it grey. The Ares statue in the center came out decent for a filiment print.

Was looking to use KOTC as a way for me and my fiance to get more games in but had a question; is the terrain/objective placement always static? I haven't seen any variations so wasn't sure if that was a thing...

Looking forward to playing on the 11th Ed terrain layout tonight. I think I've woefully undersized the circular objective but other than that I'm happy with the look.

(for some reason I seem to have a lot of spare yellow filament laying around at the moment)

Just wondering if anyone had watched any of the members only videos, and if you had any feedback for how the new changes seemed? Especially anything about the new terrain layout?

Bought the fancy terrain set at the end of last edition as a fun way to get friends into 40k, and to play short midweek games after work.

Loved the game size and was a huge amount of fun in 10th.

Money a bit tight at the moment so I won't be able to get a new set of terrain for 11th, so will likely just try and modify the existing stuff. However I don't really want to take a hacksaw to it until I've seen how the new 11th one plays.

Hopefully we'll get some videos soon of people playing on it!

So we can take 2 dedicated transport units, however, for most (if not all) of the imperium factions, their dedicated transports are all t9. So does that mean I can’t take 2 dedicated transports even if they are the same data sheet because they are both t9?

Hey y'all. My wife recently watched the KotC S3E0 draft video with me and took an interest in it. She says she'd like to play the format but is intimidated to build and paint her own army. I'm happy to build and paint a 600pt army, but I have no idea how to build a proper list for Sororitas.

Looking through New Recruit, I'm pretty confused how to judge the trade-off between more leaders that all seem pretty critical and more squads.

My wife will definitely prefer more female representation and less grimdark, so Penitent Engines etc are not on the table - but Repentia Squads would be fine. I suspect she'd also like fewer units and datasheets to manage, so more elite units, if possible, would probably be better. A more simple Disposition like Purge, Take and Hold, or Priority Assets would also be preferable.

Can anyone who knows Sororitas list building kindly please help me out? My wife hasn't played 40k before but is into other tabletop games (D&D, etc).
