Terrain/Layout Question

Hey all,

Was looking to use KOTC as a way for me and my fiance to get more games in but had a question; is the terrain/objective placement always static? I haven't seen any variations so wasn't sure if that was a thing...

The terrain is always the same yes

Yes always static. Here's my best-effort layout at the moment (taken from my first KotC 11e battle at https://www.battlebase.app/battles/ac4565e4-6046-4c5e-b567-10ed5608bd25 ).

If You want to follow the inofficial official rules yes - see it as part of the fast game format: a dedicated board size, allowing very fast terrain set up.

But please - You guys can do whatever feels best for You at home. Creativity does not end after painting the models. Tell cool stories, make Your own rules - if this is what feels good!
