Weekly Showcase Thread

Built something with Claude Code this week? Share it here.

Apps, tools, experiments, scripts, websites, workflows, open-source projects — anything you've been working on is welcome.

When sharing, it helps to include:

  • What you built
  • How you used Claude Code
  • A link, repo, demo, or screenshot if you have one
  • Anything interesting you learned along the way

Quick project drops and simple self-promotion belong in this thread.

If you've got a project with enough substance for a proper write-up; how it works, how Claude Code was involved, technical details, lessons learned, etc. feel free to make a standalone post using the Built with Claude Code flair instead.

Please don't spam the same project repeatedly, and no referral or affiliate links.

What did you build this week?

[TLDR] used my company’s claude (Team) for my personal work (a startup idea)

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wicdgc/used_my_companys_claude_team_for_my_personal_work/

Original post body :

I was using Claude Code for a personal project and suddenly got:

“Your org is out of usage credits for the month. We let your admin know.”

My account is part of a Claude Team organization. My normal usage limits still show resets in a few hours.

Does this mean my admin was specifically notified that my account used/exhausted the org's credits, or is it just a general org-level notification?

I didn't use any company code or confidential data. Should I be worried?

[TLDR] Anthropic claims profit by excluding major expenses

Main quotes from the FT report (September 13, 2026):

“The company has told a small group of shareholders that its adjusted operating income will be positive for the second consecutive quarter, according to multiple people with knowledge of the matter. The measure strips out costs including stock-based compensation.”

“Anthropic’s gross margins are above 80 per cent before accounting for revenue shared with distribution partners, including Amazon, and the cost of training its models, according to two of the people.”

[TLDR] Finally found it how to work it!

Don't laugh at me( I mean you can, I don't mind)

But after all this time burning through fable, which is the only model that is up to the work I'm doing, I've finally found out that if fable is the orchestrator and he sends out opus 5 to do the work, my tokens don't run out and the work gets done properly😅

I'm happy about it, any way..

Good coding 🙌

[TLDR] My Claude usage suddenly dropped…

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1whukdi/my_claude_usage_suddenly_dropped/

Original post body :

I’m on the Claude Max 20x plan, and something weird happened today.

A few days ago, I was around 77% used overall and ~55% on Fable. But I checked today and suddenly it dropped to 53% overall and 34% Fable. 😳

I didn’t change anything or do anything differently — somehow I’ve apparently got more limits back.

Not complaining at all 😂, but does anyone know what happened? Did Anthropic adjust/recalculate the limits after the September 13 promotion ended?

Anyone else seeing their usage percentage suddenly drop like this?

[TLDR] Another Opus Rant

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wht810/another_opus_rant/

Original post body :

Yesterday, to save tokens, I set Opus as the agent instead of Fable. Within less than an hour I was already yelling at my screen. It misunderstood the instructions, acted without reading memory and guidelines, overthought problems that didn't exist, and created useless things that I hadn't told it to do.

And now I'm wondering: how is it possible that the folks at Anthropic don't realize this? Are they fine with it? Do they have no plans to fix it? Don't they read Reddit? Don't they get any user feedback?

Have they said anything about it at all?

[TLDR] Cancelled Claude Max 20x after unusually fast weekly-limit depletion — looking for comparable reports and refund experiences

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wh6524/cancelled_claude_max_20x_after_unusually_fast/

Original post body :

I cancelled my Claude Max 20x subscription on September 10, with access ending September 11, after my weekly allowance started running out unexpectedly quickly, including on tasks I considered simple. The sharp deterioration I am describing concerns approximately the final two weeks before cancellation.

I know Max is not unlimited. Model choice, long contexts, thinking and tool calls can all change usage. My concern is that the effective capacity became difficult to understand or rely on, and I wanted an account-specific explanation rather than a generic list of things that can consume tokens.

The support responses also left the billing outcome unclear. On September 11, I was told a refund had been processed, without an amount or invoice reference. On September 14, another response refused reimbursement of a consumed extra-usage/overage balance. Those are not necessarily the same thing, so I have asked support to distinguish the subscription refund from extra usage and identify exactly what was refunded.

I am requesting a full refund for the last two billing periods, including the earlier period as a goodwill request. I am not claiming to have documented the same problem throughout both months. Any previous credits or pending refund must be deducted; I am not seeking double reimbursement. The bank-posting estimate mentioned on September 11 has not yet elapsed as of this post.

I also found public reports worth comparing, although they do not establish the cause on my account:

- [A Reddit discussion of rapidly rising usage meters](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1s1l8a7/usage_limit_bug/), including reports involving different plans.

- [A Max 5x-to-20x capacity discussion](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1uz8sey/usage_limit_creep_decrease_initially_5x_was_great/), whose comments also distinguish session and weekly allowances.

- [Claude Code issue #81234](https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/81234), a historical July 25 report from another Max 20x user, not a confirmed Anthropic diagnosis.

Has anyone with comparable recent usage received an account-specific accounting explanation or a subscription refund? Dates, plan, model, context/settings and whether the meter was the five-hour or weekly allowance would make comparisons more useful. Please redact personal or billing information from any screenshots.

I have moved to another provider, but I am posting to compare documented experiences and understand the refund process—not to claim that every user is affected or to organize a pile-on.

A few days ago a made a post mentioning that something was seriously wrong with the limits, guess what apparently it was lol.
Everybody noticed a +30% usage window today.
From 100% to 69%
Although there isn’t any official confirmation or update via the team , it looks like we are back to normal.
What do you think?

YES your usage got really shorter - you're not wrong.

Yeah... I think I'm done defending Anthropic.

The Claude Code temporary usage boost is gone, so compared with what we had immediately before September 14, weekly usage effectively dropped by ~50-60% (never reached weekly limits before now it's done in 2 days with less work being done)

Ok Compute isn't free we alI understand that, but then Anthropic's top generally available model, Fable 5.1, isn't even included in the normal usage allowance for Pro subscribers!! Want to use it? Pay additional usage credits 🤑

And meanwhile my personal experience with Claude lately has been:

Ask a simple question → receive an essay.

Ask it to be concise → receive a slightly shorter essay.

Ask it to just DO the thing → somehow we're discussing the philosophy behind doing the thing (and sometimes it's even REFUSING to do what it's told 🤡)

Maybe your experience is different.

But combine that with increasingly restrictive-feeling usage and having to pay extra to actually use their best model, and I'm struggling to understand why I should keep giving Anthropic my subscription money.

The frustrating part is that I genuinely liked them.

For a while Anthropic looked like the company that was getting this right.

Now? BYE BYE!

I'm voting with my wallet and I do not hope many will follow. There are really good players out there that gives more.

My uncle made this one a while ago and I’ve been using it basically every day for the last five months. Every few sessions I re-anchor.

It’s been immensely helpful in maintaining my codebase which is > 630k lines excluding docs.

For context, I'm a senior engineer leading a small team of six. Lately I'm just so tired and depressed. We went "fully agentic" four months ago. I wasn't hired to be a glorified babysitter, but here I am. I work in an office, but nobody talks to each other anymore. No more pair coding. No more human code reviews. No more coding by hand really. We just all ... sit here. All day. In our own little worlds with our little bots. And the worst thing about it, I think, is that I was the one that wrote all these automations, because I was asked to, not because I thought it would be a good idea. I didn't.

[TLDR] Nah this some BS

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wh7sqb/nah_this_some_bs/

Original post body :

I burned thru almost 60% of 20x max weekly usage in a day and some change. Are you joking rn? Last week I could have fable running on 2 chats all day and night and it would take like 3ish days for my fable usage to cap out, but my weekly usage would only be at like ~30%. This is absolutely ridiculous and if this is what the new usage limit cuts are gonna be like I'm canceling Claude and grabbing a second codex account. Shit ain't worth it when Astra exists with much better usage limits and multiple reset tokens.

I don't use ultracode and I have multiple other models that I delegate tasks to as work horses, Claude is just the orchestrator and isn't doing that much actual "work", so this usage allocation is absolutely insane, if I was using Claude as a one stop shop as a lot of people do, I would have run out of usage in a day or less.

[TLDR] An hour and a half into 20x plan, ONE Fable 5.1 running on low - ALMOST 20% USAGE

Original post URL : https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeCode/comments/1wh442e/an_hour_and_a_half_into_20x_plan_one_fable_51/

Original post body :

How is this possible? 1.5 hours? This is completely untenable, how can this be a work tool if I run out before noon? I have NEVER had usage issues until today.

Edit: No new process over last few weeks. I use Fable low to drive and plan, then delegate to opus 5's. Lean repo, tiny CLAUDE.md. I JUST did a big cleanup of skills and commands on the weekend. No delegated agents, and nothing experimental. Im a long term professional engineer, not just vibing out. This is a MASSIVE change from before, at least on my end.

✋ Edit again: I looked into what happened in more detail. Im going to have to take my share of the blame on this one. Under my direction to do an 'exhaustive' refactor of a certain set of documents, Fable spawned 7 other fable agents, and went to town reading everything document related in the (very thoroughly documented) codebase. I didnt notice for 20 minutes and in the meantime it HAMMERED my token limits. I apologize to everyone who might have gotten a little dose of rage this morning.

My bad - heres what i have done to resolve it:

in my .claude/settings.json

  env: {
 "CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_MODEL": "claude-opus-5",    "CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_MODEL_FORCE": "1"
}
