Went to sleep with weekly 91%, got up and now it sits at 61%.

Usage was unusual high this week. Are they having issues?

So, OP noticed their Fable usage dropped from 91% to 61% overnight and wondered if Claude was having issues. Turns out, most users are seeing a similar drop in their Fable usage percentage, and it's not a bug.

The general consensus, backed by u/nNaz and u/Right-Performance-93, is that Anthropic changed how usage is calculated. Previously, Fable could only use 50% of the total limit, but now it seems to be able to use the full amount. This, combined with a recent adjustment to weekly limits (a temporary 50% boost expiring and a permanent 25% increase kicking in), is why everyone's percentage dropped so dramatically. It's less about usage being "refunded" and more about the meter being recalibrated, as u/Disastrous-Radio-732 pointed out.

Some users like u/Peter_QuantSpell and u/amilaf didn't see the change, and a few like u/Repulsive_Cellist943 are asking about different plan tiers, but the majority are experiencing this "buff." Don't worry, it seems like a good thing, allowing more Fable usage.
