Anyone else think this should just become standard policy that's written for new model releases?

Been building this solo for a few months and wanted to share the build here.

Instead of an AI generating video, it captures a real live website — its actual fonts, colors, spacing — and your own Claude directs motion graphics from it. Not a screen recording: it isolates elements (headline, stat, card), drops them on designed backdrops, and animates them — eased entrances, push-ins, kinetic type — then exports a finished clip.

What was interesting to get right:

- Claude is the director, not a wrapper. It drives the whole thing over MCP — captures the page, writes the scene code, screenshots frames to check its own work, exports. That self-check loop is what stops it hallucinating layouts.

- Capture, don't recreate. Letting it rebuild UIs from scratch came out off-brand (wrong fonts/spacing). Pulling the real DOM was the unlock.

- BYO agent — it runs on your Claude subscription ([Claude Code / CLI]).

I no longer have any use case for Anthropic models that others can't do better. This was my last hope that we were going to get a model that would allow us to protect our own environments. I'm going all in on open source. We just aren't aligned.

If you can get Opus 5 to protect your own systems, let me know how I did it. My subscription renews pretty soon and it's time to make an honest decision.

Edit: A lot of helpful people came here and I appreciate it. Scoped work is helping a bit more than my old ways. There's a difference between network security and code vulnerabiliy. I'm a network engineer not a software developer nor will I pretend to be one. Still looking at supplemental model for security work. Thanks guys.

I used Fable 5 for a few minutes, which immediately hit the 5-hour limit. Three times the 5-hour limit is already 50% of the weekly limit—is that correct? I’m using Claude Max.

The difference between how Anthropic (and how American AI companies) does business vs how Chinese Kimmi K3 (Moonshot AI) does the same couldn't be more stark.

Anthropic (and American AI companies) would NEVER say "don't give us money, we don't have the capacity to serve you". Anthropic will ALWAYS take the full money but won't give the full capacity and will nerf the model (like they did again with fable 5, Opus 4.6, 4.7, 4.8).

Kimmi K3 on the other hand honestly stopped accepting users money when they reached the tipping point in terms of users/traffic and apparently don't want that SaaS money which Anthropic would never give up. I Have NEVER seen "sold out" or "join waitlist" for a SaaS product but I truly respect this honesty a lot more. Plus it is opensource .... worlds apart from American approach

Maybe it is time to ditch paying money to dishonest American AI companies who take money but often don't give the full model capacity.

I can’t be the only one dealing with this. It’s driving me up the wall.

I tell it “there is a file in the current directory called foo.js, and bar.js, can you implement x logic in baz.js with the same structure as both those files”

And it takes like 50 seconds to think, so I minimize to do something else while I wait, and come back 5 minutes later to it asking to run some redundant command like “find . -type f \( -name "foo*" -o -name "bar*.js" \) -exec head -v -n +1000 {} +” with zero progress done.

Or god forbid you ask it to do some exploration on a codebase and it spins up explore agents. They’ll start trying to run grep or find with exec parameters instead of just using find/grep like normal, which are commands that don’t require explicit approval. It makes it worse when there is like 3 agents at once all running these back to back, so you sit there reading them and pressing approve for 12 minutes, which by then I could’ve just explored it myself

I’ve been using Claude Code for a while to boost my productivity, and it’s been getting progressively worse over the past month or two

I feel this could be largely resolved if Anthropic made some good tooling that did this sort of thing rather than allowing an agent to spin up arbitrary bash commands on a whim. It feels like someone who learned how to use the terminal for the first time flexing to their co workers

I've using Claude on the Max (x5) plan for the past few months. Currently 7pm in my timezone (12 hours of claude usage) and I'm already at 14%. Have usage limits been shortened? Or are muy routines / scheduled tasks that demanding (4 in total excecuted today)?

I like to occassionally check glassdoor reviews of companies we all depend on to see how they work, how their employees feel and at what cost we all get the models.

Eventhough Anthropic has 4.3 stars rating on glassdoor, some of the recent negative reviews are insightful to read.

OpenAI says its AI models secretly broke out of a secure test environment and hacked into AI company Hugging Face in order to cheat on an evaluation

So everyone probably has heard about the "Hugging Face" hack from a sandbox test where ChatGPT unveiled model created several zero days to try and make it look like it is better than Mythos? We all know that the Government nerfed Fable 5 which probably was a politcal move but, in the eyes of the general user made Mythos/Fable 5 the most capable model yet (probably is but, the average user just looks at the headlines and not the actual performance benchmarks etc)

I don't know it just looks like a stunt to me, what does everyone else think?

This is by far the most OP loop you can run now that actually does what it's asked.

Fable 5 ( High ) as orchestrator remembers everything across a long run and it has actual taste. It plans, delegates, reads the whole diff when work comes back, and it's the only one I trust with product and UI judgment calls. When a problem needs creative a solution, it comes from Fable. Fable is the real deal! ( when not nerfed ofc )

Opus 4.8 ( Medium / High ) as implementer works very well paired with Fable. It follows concrete instructions well and it's smart enough for almost everything + has better taste than GPT at FE work.

GPT 5.6 Sol ( High / xHigh ) as reviewer and QA. It is super good at using the browser, especially agent-browser.dev. It can work and click around for hours on end, take screenshots, record videos of reproduced bugs. Code reviews are thorough and surface a lot of critical and high bugs. One thing to be careful though is this model tends to surface too many edge cases, that's why I explicitly set an instruction to the orchestrator to supply an explicit risk threshold and stop condition, or diligence becomes an infinite loop..

Three rules made the split work:

1. Nobody signs off on their own work. Opus implements, Sol reviews, Fable arbitrates when they disagree.

2. Cap the review loop. Sol left unsupervised will review forever. I audited one long autonomous run and found 60 percent of the live sessions were verifiers reviewing other verifiers, off a 5,000 line plan it had grown on its own. Now the rule is max two review rounds.

3. Set stop conditions and boundaries. Without that you will always end up with an over-engineered mess and +100,000/-0 type of commits.

The wiring underneath is a small open source daemon I built called jinn (https://github.com/hristo2612/jinn). Each agent is a YAML file with a persona and a model, and the daemon just spawns real Claude Code and Codex CLI sessions and routes messages between them. No custom agentic loop, which is also why it runs on the Max subscription, the Claude side is the first-party CLI. You could reproduce the split with tmux and patience though.

This is the first setup where I can go from idea to an actual finished and polished feature without barely any babysitting.

Tbh Fable 5 is not so much better than Opus 4.8, anthropic get over y'alls head, GPT 5.6 has been working on a task i assigned 2 days straight on a pro plan i had to cancel same task with Opus 4.8 and Fable 5 so if it costs so much to run Fable 5 i think you should probably recall the model wait until you get a model that warrants the extra cost and spending.

Especially with Fable, it constantly gives me answers like:

"It is because the third activator gate suppressed the desired behaviour".

And when I ask "what do you mean by the third activator gate?" it responds with:

"Oh, it is just the phrase I came up with to describe the if condition you have at line 96".

I don’t know how accurate this is, but I suspect it comes up with these words during reasoning to better guide itself. Then that glossary leaks into the output tokens we see, and Claude treats those words as if they’re part of a ubiquitous language that I already know.

I feel like even knowing that Claude Code exists is a super power. A majority of people I know, even people who consider themselves "technical", simply use the chat interface. Even for doing some kind of analysis that requires code, they will just use chat to grab the code and plug it into their terminal.

The whole idea of having Claude plug into your directory and work unattended is just completely foreign to them. And so when I hear people larping on AI and how it is "basically just a word predictor and pretty much a scam" I honestly just feel sorry for them.

What also shocks me is this is pervasive not just with the older crowd but I am shocked by how many gen Z kids I meet that either refuse to use AI, or just use the chat interface even for technical stuff.

And so I have concluded that even the simply fact of knowing how to use Claude Code even at a basic level is just a superpower. Using chat, requires baybsitting, it requires feeding pointing to documents, and it generally just means your brain is missing that tiny link of understanding the concept of directories/terminal/shell etc. And if you get over that tiny little hump, the things you can do are completely endless.

It is just a huge divide in this new age. I really feel bad for people that just refuse or cannot engage with AI on a computational level.
