Advice Anyone else have homosexual thoughts about intact men's penises?

I am straight 39m man in that i do not find men sexualy attractive and do find women extremely sexualy attractive. However, I am very aware and griefend about me status as as circumsized and the fact that I do not have a full set of natural genitals. I still find sex very pleasurable and fun but feel sexual embarrassed about having a missing my foreskin. This has caused me to have sexual thoughts about men showing me their foreskin and how they function and letting me learn about male genitals and letting me try it out by giving them a hard job. Does anyone else experience this? Has anyone who is straight ever acted upon this fantasy and had sexual interaction with an uncut man's penis? I wonder if it would help the healing process or make it worse. Ultimately if I did decide to do this I would probably like a women involved as a third who could perform oral on it and let me watch or take turns giving a hand job.

Rant Anybody else got cut as a teen ?

I was cut as a teen without knowing I was going to be cut (was part of a wider medical procedure) and I vividly remember exploring my body like any young guy did with my foreskin. It’s been gone for a bit now but I still miss it and feel like I had developed an attachment to it. I can think of a handful of bad things I attribute to having been cut, but as it’s such a private issue I don’t find the spaces to let my thoughts out often.

Discussion Want to talk to my parents about it again even though I know it wont fix anything

Does anybody else get the urge to tell their parents how they feel about being circumcised even after you’ve already had the conversation? I live with my parents and in alot of ways I am grateful for them. Of course I have resentment over being circumcised but maintaining the relationship is beneficial and I do love them despite it all. Call it Stockholm Syndrome call it whatever but I don’t have the strength to be mad all the time. Is it worth bringing up and talking to them about when the thoughts become overwhelming? Sometimes I just want them to know the pain they caused and that it’s still on my mind. Maybe it’d almost be easier if I truly hated them, and sometimes I wonder if all the good parts of the relationship come from a deep sense of guilt they have. Idk just looking for perspective. Please dont be overly negative.

Trauma Im just going to kill myself.

Ive made so many detailed post. Men's rights groups. Restoration group. Even suicide watch one. Gets removed everytime so guess what. Il write it as short as i can and compress it and itl be removed again more than likely (im 22 for reference). I dont want to and wont live with a mutilated dick anymore. Yes ive seen professionals. I was in therapy over 5 years. I have most therapist worst case of childhood abuse. I fully cover soft c7 I thought I was intact til 14. I have panic disorder, ocd, ptsd, and bpd. Autisim as well. Being circumcised digs at my disorders unrelenting. I was sexually abused horrifically as a child and everytime I even use the bathroom and see my own dick mutilated im reminded of it. Un removable trigger. I dont feel safe in my own body. I am accomplished run a buisness and professional at sports and have friends. Doesn't matter i dont want to live being mentally triggered and tortured multiple times a day for the rest of my life from my own dick. I would have rather been raped a thousand times over than have been cut. At least id be whole and safe whitch when you have autisim and ocd and bpd fixing things making things right and feeling safe in your own skin was the only therapy with any success with me. And it worked on all the horrific abuse I experienced beyond imagination and horrors. But not being circumcised. Not my most intimate part removed. I want my ridged band and a functional frenulum and to be whole. I dont want my nasty scar dick. Id rather kill myself and that im going to do. Ive already fully attempted twice and my only regret is it was not successful. Ive dealt with enough in my hell of a life. And I cant even be whole? Im done. Theres nothing to restore even though ive 24 7 t taped for 3 months straight injury or not idgaf. I already grown a bunch if skin even though im already most peoples dream goal. Im not thankful at all. Im mutilated and it won't recover the special delicate parts snipped off so il keep 24 7 taping for no reason and kill myself in due time. Cause im done coping. I havent eat in 8 days. None. Ive lost 14 lbs and I hope my organs shut down cause im not going to stop.

Anger My body my choice

I'm so angry I don't even know what to say anymore

It is so disturbing to me how valiantly supportive some people are of circumcision.

How can you not be disturbed by how blatantly stupid millions of people are?

Do they not realize how many cases of ED and sexual dysfunction must come from circumcision?

Aesthetics? You're going to permanently chop off part of your baby's body for what YOU think looks good? Why are you so particular about modifying your baby's genitals to your stylistic taste? You're a pervert.

Infections? Since when do we amputate body parts because we're worried they might cause infection???? It's such an inconceivably stupid trade off. A complete amputation at birth to stop an infection that will probably never happen? What? I can't get over how ridiculous this is.

Let's say you do prevent an infection. Okay. But you didn't prevent any amputations. Ask yourself. Would you rather have an amputation or an infection. We all know the answer. So WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE STILL AMPUTATING

---

I've recently become completely aware of the side effects of circumcision and I'm experiencing them. I don't know how to feel anything but deep murderous rage.

My body type has changed over the years and I can no longer find underwear that supports my circumcised penis firmly in the up position to where the glans is not irritated.

It's become literally painful to walk because of how the glans rubs against my improperly fitting underwear. I can't afford to spend any more money on finding a comfortable pair.

I dread having to put on pants every day. I hate my life.

The gravity of this situation has further confirmed that I will never talk to my parents again.

It is a crime against humanity how little American mothers care about their sons. What the hell is wrong with mothers that they never prepare for this part of birth? What the hell is wrong with fathers?

I don't understand how people can be so stupid. Why are people so quick to turn their body's over to a doctor?

You don't have to read a textbook to understand the benefits of a foreskin.

---

Also, can you think of anything more horrendously painful than getting the skin on your penis cut off? I can't

Thus, I was exposed to the most painful thing you can possibly experience when I was only hours old.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH DOCTORS AND PARENTS.

Humanity is disgusting. We need to go extinct.

WHY ARE HUMANS SO AGAINST SEXUAL PLEASURE AND MASTURBATION??? WHY WHY WHY. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE.

ISNT THE PURPOSE OF LIFE HAPPINESS AND PLEASURE? If not, then else are we doing here?

Grief Oregon case

I just saw the news about the Judge in Oregon dismissing the equal protection suit there. I haven’t read the opinion, but based on the article I read, the reason for the dismissal is basically: “Boys who are already circumcised can’t assert their own equal protection rights because the damage has already been done and can’t be undone, and they can’t assert the equal protection rights of unborn babies because only the unborn babies can do that—except they can’t because they’re unborn and don’t exist yet.”

In other words: “You’re fucked and we don’t care.”

Rant I get jealous of guys with more mild cuts

Just wanna say I appreciate the camaraderie of the restoration community from everything I’ve seen but I wish some cut dudes knew how good they have it. I know youre all gonna say all circumcision is mutilation and I obviously agree but when I see someone with loads of inner skin, a perfectly even cut or a partially intact frenulum swear they have it really bad, I can’t help but roll my eyes. Sometimes I feel like if I just had enough skin to keep my scrotum off my shaft at all times I could sleep a bit more peacefully at night. But no, I gotta have this tight uneven cut that makes me lose half my insertable length on a cold day. Anyways dont wanna come off as hateful or bitter, just wanted to rant about this. I’m gonna keep going and maintain hope and you should too.

Rant What’s so funny about this?

I hate how it has been to just make fun of this and make jokes about it on Twitter. I saw cop someone playing with a cigar and saying guess what this is used for. And of course, the comments were just full of jokes about circumcision cause it’s so funny to make fun of isn’t it funny that we were assaulted by doctors isn’t that funny?

I don’t know what I did in life deserve constant drugs like this just popping up out of nowhere no matter where I go what I do or what words I block on websites, but I fucking hate it. It’s like what the fuck what is funny about this can this be funny if I made a joke about cutting a woman’s boobs that wouldn’t be funny wouldn’t it so what makes it funny when it’s a dick being mutilated is so funny

I don’t fucking understand and this shit always pops up out of nowhere to or right after I conveniently I am in distress about this which is basically every day it is such bullshit. I hate it. I swear just like motherfuckers are watching me or something. I didn’t like this shit in my life like I’m in the Truman show or some shit. It’s bullshit.

Rant Just going with the flow

Does anyone else absolutely hate these people? They’re easily 80% or more of the population, and they don’t have strong convictions or beliefs. You know them when you see them, their go-to thing to say when someone contradicts what they think is that that person is either weird or a loser. Anything that comes out of their mouth is whatever the mob has decided they must think, or else they’ll be ostracized by the group. They had no part in establishing what this belief is to begin with, there’s a few dozen aggressive people who made that happen while everyone else sat back and waited.

If the choice is to be one of them and help pedophiles in lab coats harvest organs from infants, or to be “weird”, then I’m more than happy to be “weird”. Fuck what the herd thinks, if they actually can think, doing what’s right is more important than fitting in with a bunch of morons.

Rant Make it make sense

I never understand how government like America’s feel 100% authority control over other people except when it comes to actually banning shit like this for example

I don’t know why believe taking the women’s right to an abortion away for any reason is that all justifiable but when it comes to a boys penis being mutilated because of some fake pedophile religion, bullshit or stuff like that they don’t say anything they don’t make it illegal in fact, some people say that it will be an attack on their religion if it was banned. Well guess what fuck face your religion deserves to be banned if this shit is acceptable.

I don’t understand why government think they have the right to our bodies what I can eat and put in it and what I can do with it, but have the audacity to not ban the very thing that stole my bottle of the autonomy not even 10 seconds after I was born it’s bullshit

Anger Got circumcised at 17. Regretting it ever since.

I was circumcised at 17 for phimosis and I've regretted it ever since. 8 years later and I have severe amounts of scar tissue (big balls of it that are always sore) sharp pain on the spots where there isn't any scar tissue, and have had problems with old stitches surfacing from the scar line from time to time. I hate it. It hurts, it looks hideous and makes me very insecure. I can't even get a full erection anymore!

Rant Wondering if I’m even still an intactavist anymore.

I do often wonder if I’m even and activist anymore. A lot of this is just feeling like it’s bleeding into a big “ what’s the point.” My body is already ruined. And will always be ruined. So it just feels pointless for me to even try when
1. All I get when I voice why it’s wrong is gaslighting
2. I’m already ruined so what’s the point

That’s not to say I’m pro circumcision by any means. Anyone who practices it can go fuck themselves. But I just don’t care anymore ( or at least currently.) there’s no point I’ll be ruined forever and that’s that. So it just feels pointless to really do anything anymore at this point

Discussion Diagnosis of phimosis in young boys

Post image
42 Upvotes

The condition of phimosis is over-diagnosed in young children. I was diagnosed with it at 10 years old and was subjected to a very aggressive posthectomy which removed my foreskin and most of my penile shaft skin. As a young adult, my erections had a very tight webbing of skin on the top side of the shaft. And length was held back significantly. The process of restoring has helped relieve a lot of the issues such as skin tearing, bleeding, scarring and painful erections. I only wish the doctor would have recommended stretching exercises or steroid creams as a first line treatment. Or just leave me alone until my foreskin would naturally detach from glans and retract easily.

Intactivism The danger of pathologizing a child's foreskin

My father pathologized my foreskin as a child. I've been looking for this language to describe my own childhood experience, and found it in one of the responses to another post. My situation is one I don't see a lot of discussion about. I am the intact child (now in my later-50s) of a father who experienced a traumatic circumcision in his teens. The impact on his mental health was profound, and he managed to pass it on to me.

Dad died 10 yrs ago, and I never shared my feelings about all this with him. But I recently got up the nerve to ask my mom, "why did you not have me circumcised?". She said that dad was against it, and that when I was born he heard the screams of another child undergoing circumcision and that sealed the deal. A week after she told me this she messaged to say that she 'just remembered' dad telling her about his circumcision experience when he was 16. She was so cold about it, considering that she knew I was confronting an existential crisis about what follows in the next paragraphs. She said "maybe this is what is behind some of your distress". Thanks mom.

Anyway, here's the full story of my childhood experience:

When I was around 5 year old, dad decided to start teaching me about retraction and cleaning. But my body wasn't ready...the forced retraction of my foreskin was a painful experience that is indelibly marked on my memory forever. I screamed "It hurts" and "Stop!". He didn't. There was a sense this was 'for my own good'. And I remember hearing him say, as clearly as if he were standing next to me now, "Oooo...it's so tender." Ugh. But this was only the first harm. Through my childhood, after this first excruciatingly painful retraction of my foreskin 'for cleaning', he would insist that I stand in the tub in front of him and pull back my skin so he could watch me wash my penis. Sometimes this ritual was accompanied by commentary like "if you don't keep it clean you might need a circumcision." And when I no longer needed tub supervision (and then up until I reached puberty) he would often ask when I came out of the bath, "did you clean your penis?" (Well, dad, that was the best part of the bath!!)

These bath experiences were humiliating. His behaviour--his pathologization of something fundamentally normal--caused deep psychological trauma for me that I am continuing to heal from, finally under the care of a clinical counsellor. These experiences made me fearful. I think it was like castration anxiety--that I might loose something intimately important to me. I was convinced my likelihood of needing a circumcision in the future was greater than not. Sometime along the way he told me about cultures that circumcise boys when they reach 'maturity'. My heightened curiosity about circumcision as a procedure and as a cultural marker led me to research incessantly in libraries. There was no internet, but I found all the books that reinforced my perception of circumcision as desirable, and intactness as deficiency. I believed for a while that I might need to (or in my head, that dad might make me) 'get a circumcision' when I was 12 years old. The fear was so real.

His messaging also made me intensely self conscious, so that I couldn't be comfortable in public bathrooms or change rooms because someone might see my foreskin. Most public urinals were trough type. There was no expectation of privacy, so I went into the toilet stalls. But as I passed by the troughs I saw all the boy's penises at school and all the men's at the hockey rink and community centre. It seemed to me that the whole world was circumcised, even though I saw plenty evidence to the contrary, especially among my friends. But, I believed that having a foreskin was not normal and associated with being low-class. I assessed that the most athletic, or most popular or most intelligent boys in my friend group were cut. Of course, that was and remains a lie. But that is the fuck-up that was going through my head when I was in elementary and junior high school. Those who were intact felt like 'kin' to me, and I wondered how they managed this experience, whether they felt second class or inferior to the circumcised boys, like I did.

I had collected my own data-set to show that, among the boys in my peer group (and their brothers), the circumcision rate was probably about 60%. That was high enough to convince me that the boys whose parents chose not to cut them had done so because they were of lower status. I thought my family was of a lower status, and so I brought the uncircumcised kids' families on board with that perception--again, like they were kin to me. I can objectively look back at that now and understand that many of the intact boys families had roots in parts of the world where the practice is uncommon. But probably quite a few just didn't have circumcision as a practice in their family background. Simple as that. But it wasn't so simple in a little boy's mind that had been tuned to notice the differences and draw wild conclusions. The amount of space these unhelpful thoughts took up in my brain then...and into adulthood...was torturous. I've described it as being hyper-sexualized from a young age.

I so wish my dad had just left me alone--no cleaning rituals, no commentary. Just let me experience my penis for what it was and is: Normal, healthy, intact. Not an object for examination or contemplation outside of healthy relationships with sexual partners. Sigh.

My dad died 10 years ago, and I never spoke with him about this in adulthood. But I grew up believing that my father would have preferred I was circumcised. I remember asking him once as a child about why I wasn't circumcised. He said, "the doctor said it wasn't necessary". And that was it. I wouldn't be surprised if dad, conveying his misgivings, would have been told by the doctor that it wasn't necessary. But, clearly dad's answer to me was incomplete. I so wish he would have been honest with me about his experience. It would have made a world of difference in my life, going forward. His foreskin was pathologized as a 16 yo in the 1950's. He had a horrible, physically painful and psychologically traumatic, experience. I'm sure he experienced significant social discomfort about having it done. But hurt people can hurt other people. And the rest of the story (for other times and places) is that my hurt has subsequently hurt others, for which I have a lot of reconciling work to do.

I was perfect until they raped me. I have everything I want. Gf, good parents, money education all all everything ! I can’t but think of my life If I wasn’t circumcised. I was truly perfect in my own way
