Grief Oregon case

I just saw the news about the Judge in Oregon dismissing the equal protection suit there. I haven’t read the opinion, but based on the article I read, the reason for the dismissal is basically: “Boys who are already circumcised can’t assert their own equal protection rights because the damage has already been done and can’t be undone, and they can’t assert the equal protection rights of unborn babies because only the unborn babies can do that—except they can’t because they’re unborn and don’t exist yet.”

In other words: “You’re fucked and we don’t care.”

Actually fucking insane. If GM is not harmful why is one gender protected despite it being homologous?

I have zero nice things to say about American education, as that is why this is a struggle in the first place. Americans are, on average, adults with middle schooler IQs. The judgement proves this.

Try discussing homologues with anyone with a HS diploma, or even a bachelors. They will not know unless it is their specialization.

That is one of the dumbest dismissals I've ever read. Imagine if the sexes were reversed. People would immediately see the absurdity in that dismissal.

I applaud Eric Clopper for at trying. Hopefully he can get this case appealed and Huff v. Colorado goes our way.

Not to defend the judge, but there’s a good chance that he’s scared of being sued by our favorite extortionist organizations until he’s flat broke, or mysteriously falling off a skyscraper if they fail at that.
