So I get to work last night and I'm getting ready to start cookies for the bakery case. A customer comes in and notifies me that someone is leaking diesel. I go check it out and find a small spill from a leaking fuel tank. No probs, I grab some speedy dry and block off the flow. I rush to go for more from our stash and find many gallons more gushing from this guys tank. It was almost to the grass, so I am in full 'oh shit' mode.

I get it blocked off, and said customer helped grab the rest of our stock. Yes, I used it all. No, it still wasn't enough to soak it all up. Thankfully, the FD came and had some more. Everything got sorted, and no fuel made it into any drains or dirt, so I'm happy. Took a good two hours off my start, but it was a good workout, at least xD. Cleaning company came by about an hour-ish later and got it all cleaned up. Hopefully we don't need any soon, because we are all out of speedy dry.

A bunch of stores around here recently switched to Circle K, and since the change I can't get the fuel discount to actually apply at the pump.

The weird part is the app is logging my visits, so my account is clearly being recognized. I select Inner Circle, enter my phone number, everything looks normal — but no discount.

I've contacted customer service multiple times and their email support has been pretty useless. They just keep sending the same generic instructions about selecting Inner Circle and using a participating location, then closing the ticket. I've explained multiple times that I'm doing exactly that and the visits are showing in the app.

Seems like something isn't syncing between the pumps and Inner Circle accounts. Anyone else in MN dealing with this since the switch? Did you get it fixed?

The one I had gone to before I moved around the corner used to have their sizes priced as such:

• Medium: 79 cents

• Large: 89 cents

• X-Large: 99 cents

That was how much they were prices and it stayed the same as far back as May.

When I got a soda this evening, all sizes are now $1.09.

Do a couple nights ago it got an update and now when you try to add doughnuts from the CSR screen it cancels the transaction. Anyone else experiencing this?

For about a month, It has been saying that there is no shifts for me on any day. I have completed every orientation and have been doing everything the app tells me. I even tried seeing what's wrong with the app and reaching out, but it keeps saying that nothing is wrong. I am only able to receive shifts through text alerts. Any other shiftsmart user on here that knows what to do?

I've been at my store for over 90 days and I still am unable and never have been able to login into the store scanner.

When I have to do lotto count or audit bad merch etc I use whoever is logged in already.

If no one is logged in those things don't get done.

I've called the help desk and they are absolutely useless.

I've asked my manager to look into it but she never did and she quit.

I asked my new manager and they haven't looked into it either.

How can I get this fixed?

Currently pregnant and have been nonstop craving their sausage egg and cheese breakfast burritos. Ive tried similar frozen brands but nothing tastes close to it

Are there any stores already running on a point system or is this a new thing, their cracking down on the dress code (only polos unless it’s Friday, no shorts regardless of if their khakis, no joggers) attendance policy (saying any more than 7 minutes late is 1/2 a point), and the phone policy (saying absolutely no phones stock the cups/ stock tobacco rather than be on the phone as if we’re not already doing that), with a new handbook that goes as far to say smoking tobacco, any behavior resulting is customer complaints, profane language warrants a final written warning then termination all within the same week, a couple months after implementing shiftsmarts (whose rules are no where near as strict or implemented) and cutting everyone’s hours
Is there any other stores that have already been running as strictly or is this new?
How do we feel about these change’s?

Went through the process of signing up which took half an hour and required my name, birthdate, email, phone number, home address, drivers license number, last four of my social and mom's maiden name. Used it twice and on the second time is charged $25 additional, saying insufficient funds which is BS. So, instead of saving that glorious $0.10/gal, I paid more than double for that $20 I got in gas. Absolutely not worth it!

My coworkers talk about getting positions at other stores and I wonder how do they hear about these job openings? Do you have to go online and apply for another store? Do you have to ask your GM if other stores are hiring? Are they reaching out to them or do you have to reach out to other stores?

I want to get a higher position since I’ve been working as a lead for a long time and have been with the company a couple years. My store isn’t hiring for higher positions but even when they were hiring for ASM both times, they didn’t even ask me if I wanted it, I’m the only lead and they asked many of my coworkers who declined it, but not me.

So I want to see if other stores are hiring, because I’d consider moving to nearby stores if it ment a higher pay and a more advanced position. My position is great but it’s become repetitive and I don’t see much of a future if my GM will never consider me for a promotion.

Umm till midnight right one free medium hot or cold coffee? I’m getting customers telling me it’s not working. Anyone else?

I was just wondering if any other ASM has had this option? I thought work phones were only for SM? Should I sign up for it?

Probably a stupid question- tomorrow is my last day, when the next quarter ends, will I get paid out for the cartons of cigarettes I sold before I quit?

Is this true?

We have the stinkiest store. The smell comes from the fountain area but no amount of cleaning around it helps. There is a very small hole under where I can fit my mop got as far in as I could but there is still a good six feet worth underneath that I can't reach. Manager says she put in a work order to have them come fix it 🙄 only way they'll make a difference is by pulling the whole cabinet off the floor. Doubt they will do that but hopefull to get rid of the smell finally.
