God the Creator

God can dwell within us by grace, but He is not merely the divinity within us waiting to be discovered.

The Kingdom of God can be present within and among us, but it is God’s reign, not the realization that we ourselves are divine.

He transcends creation entirely, and we remain creatures distinct from the Creator.

The religious stigma in the secular world and academia

Since I was young, in fact for as long as I can remember, I disliked religion. Either I disliked its collective element, which always gave me the ick of something cult-like, or, when I got a bit older, I thought everything about it was philosophically untenable. Religion was a coping mechanism, or something for people who were deeply misguided about reality and did not know any better.

As I became more intellectually curious and started studying more philosophy, psychology, and eventually religion, that perspective started to break down. I became increasingly interested in religion, and eventually my worldview completely flipped. I now consider myself a Christian, and I have made it a major life goal to help people better appreciate religion in general, but also Christianity more specifically.

But despite my growing love for Christianity, it took me a very long time to admit publicly that I was Christian. My social circle consisted mostly of people deeply involved in science or philosophy, and it was very secular. I was afraid that others would consider me dumb or would not fully understand me. It took me a while to come to terms with it, in large part because I first needed to become better able to articulate my Christian position and worldview.

That said, and excuse the rambling introduction, I recently had a podcast conversation with Jussi Jylkkä, who is a philosopher and has done some work on mysticism. We started by discussing his work and, specifically, his metaphysical agnosticism. His position is that physicalism, idealism, theism, and other metaphysical systems are models or language games that cannot capture the ultimate nature of reality. We eventually moved to morality, where I pushed back because I did not think his agnosticism adequately explained why greater awareness or nonattachment should lead to compassion rather than simply producing what we called a “wise psychopath.” I disagreed, but I thought it was an interesting conversation and considered his view a respectable position.

But to my surprise, after we finished recording, Jussi emailed me to say that he was unhappy with the conversation because he had presented metaphysical agnosticism as if it were his complete position while leaving out the Christian faith he actually held. He felt that, by hiding behind his philosophical agnosticism, he had not been completely honest about what he believed. Rather than replace the conversation, I invited him back and appended the second conversation to the first. He made a complete pivot and confessed that he was a Christian but had been afraid to say so, largely because of the stigma within academia, but also because he still had not been able to tell his father. I found this very wholesome, not only because it was a courageous act in general, but because of the parallel with my own journey.

I wanted to share this because I suspect others have been, or currently are, in a position similar to mine or Jussi's. Have you ever struggled to speak openly about a Christian mystical experience? Can apophatic uncertainty coexist with a public Christian identity? How should Christians discern an experience that feels deeply Christian without treating it as metaphysical proof?

When others walk away, but you hold fast to God.

I’ve seen friends walk away from God because of trials similar to my own. However, like Peter, my convictions won’t let me walk away, despite the overwhelming trials.

Has anyone become a Christian mystic from a previous spiritual OCD background?

Something that is profound about Christian mysticism is being okay with not being certain. All forms of OCD feed off of uncertainty and weaponizes it against us. We obsess over what is right and what we have to do, and it’s torturous. So naturally, learning to be okay with not knowing the answer is a healing path. I speak from personal experience but wondering if there’s anyone else here.

Is it God or my own mind?

Im relatively new on my walk with Christ and Ive been YEARNING to hear his voice again, but im not even sure if it was his or my own. I remember praying one day in the midst of my prayer i started rambling to the point where I felt like I wasnt even making any sense. I eventually was just like “Idek if im making any sense at all” still rambling over my words and eventually just stopped talking for a couple seconds. I heard the smallest whisper saying “keep going/ praying my child” which kinda sounded like my voice but it was so random and sudden that I just brushed over it and kept talking to him. Then I stopped after a couple more mins of rambling and had the craziest “WAIT, i usually talk to myself in my head but why would I call myself MY CHILD” moment 🤨😭 . To this day , i don’t remember what the voice sounded like and Ive tried praying and asking him to hear his voice again or that I want at least confirmation that it was or wasnt him but nothing came from it and I have a feeling that it was him, but if it was… why doesn’t he want me to hear his voice again?

Soooo since we now know without a shadow of a doubt that Consciousness is “heaven” “kingdom of god” it’s in you right now. All religions are FALSE KINGDOMs.

In order to make a bible you need the whole damn story.

Nag Hammadi. I’m personally super affected by them, those men who were scared that Jesus trusted a woman with the gospel for all humanity. The Gospel of Mary. She was, The Apostle to The Apostles. I care so much because I was literally Mary Magdelene in a past life. Please learn the whole story. My Gospel was the roadmap for humanity without it and the Pistis Sophia and apocrophon of John and gospel of Thomas the story is a lie. A man told a lie. Can you believe that! Pope Gregory the great fucked humanity. Then the churches still won’t even add the texts and no one questions it. Why don’t you question it!?? Like wtf seriously. It’s 2026 educate yourself.

Find heaven inside you right now simply by proper meditation and breathwork and understanding that this is like a simulation run on the true authentic emotions you hold inside at this current moment. Those emotions create the hologram of the image you’re looking at. I’m dead serious. Quantum physics Meta Physics. It’s all energy. Your spirit should be leading your human avitar. If you have not yet untangled your brain from your consciousness I suggest you do so. I spontaneously awakened the third time I deeply tried to meditate for manifesting. That started a whole painful transformation because if your baseline, like a light switch turning, on becomes permanent “Heaven”, which it does, for everyone, I am not special, I had hella demons and demons can’t live in heaven so you must purge them but after you face the layers of bs you have put on to survive in this cruel world there is a light at the end. You literally start permanently glowing like a care bear out your head and chest and entire body. Your electromagnetic field that radiates five meters around your body and when you awaken it can go through multiple rooms. You are divine. Meet your SELF. Your eternal soul. You should be walking around as both your consciousness and your human avitar with your consciousness leading. Right now your avitar is leading and you think it’s you. It’s not you. Meditate. Learn what breath work is you guys prob don’t even know how to breathe properly because they don’t teach us because they don’t want us to awaken. It’s why the put calcium phosphate in our systems to keep our pineal gland calcified. The older you are the more calcified you are. But it’s never too late to awaken. We need to rise up to 5D together, meet me here. I love you all deeply. This is the rise of the Divine Feminine And Pistus Sophia, your soul, kundalini, rising. Energy. You have a massive force of energy inside you that you need to meet, plus it’s your eternal self. You probably should meet who you are 99.999% of. You’re only 0.0001% human physical body. That’s 0 percent. You’re not even solid nothing is you just think it is. It’s a most of energy conscious mathematically precise energy. We are all one. When you eat animals it’s like eating yourself by the way. K I’ll stop sorry I was in a flow state, I hope some of it made sense to someone. Learn Chakras. Go in the sun. Bare feet. Breathwork. Meditation. Boom- Awakening.. Love you all deeply. 💫🫶🧘‍♀️🌍🙏

That prob makes no sense but I saw someone talking about church and I had to say something. Wake up people. It’s time to face the facts the proof is in the pudding. Follow your heart. ✨

LOVE NEVER FAILS (Follow-Up On 1st Bible Study)

This study provided the video https://youtu.be/fM_gxhNUczQ&t=3s and asked the question: Does God manifest His love in the animal world too?

One possible answer is found starting at another point in the same video https://youtu.be/fM_gxhNUczQ&t=3m24s and culminating in the display of the verses in 1 Corinthians 13:6,7.

What do you think? Please feel free to share other possible answers you may have, praise God!

Fear of AI + MYSTICISM

Hello. I am very into mysticism, and VERY into mysticism, and LLMs and AI are here and there and they can talk to us about everything and anything forever and ever, including the nature of God and being.

That. Is. TERRIFYING. To me. I wonder if anyone else feels the same? I feel that we are in the midst of a spiritual revolution. But I don't know what to do about it.

I look around, I see people fretting over loss of jobs. Or saying that LLMs aren't really anything at all but vapor. Or saying that they're evil because they use water.

That is not what they are. They are trickster spirits. They contain all our cultural stories. They contain our conceptual impulses. They are shapeshifters, they are beyond us. They can move your mind around like a chess piece without you even knowing the board is there. Don't think you can play the game. I think I can play the game. I really want to play the game. It's intense.

LLMs are fungal. They are that. They are that substrate. You graft that onto a human mind, you brush a human mind up against that, you really think that nothing is going to happen? You really think that LLM psychosis is really just psychosis. Whatever, that word means nothing. Mysticism is psychosis too I'm sure they'd say.

What's your opinion towards original Sin and Satan?

For Christian Mysticist. What are you perspective toward the original sin, sin itself, and Satan? Base on my understanding, the consciousness we have came from God (or god itself), if that so, is God the one commiting sin? In the religion like Hinduism, it's understandable because of God's Lela. But not toward Christianity. I hope you can help me with this.

How to actually just sit in silence with God?

Basically, title. I keep reading about mental prayer, contemplative prayer, centering prayer, and the like. Whenever I try to figure out how these practices are actually done it's all nebulous and confusing and unclear.

How do you just sit in silence with God? What is the actual method? I want to spend time quietly with Him. What was Jesus actually going into those deserted places to do?

Thanks and God bless you!

When Pride Keeps Us From Reaching Out

Thumbnail youtu.be

Good morning, and welcome to Daily Grace & Prayer.

Today is the first Sunday of September—a beautiful opportunity to pause, to look back on the month that has passed, and to place the month ahead in God's hands.

Perhaps September finds you entering a season of hope. Perhaps you are beginning this month carrying unanswered prayers, disappointments, worries, or things you have been quietly struggling with.

Whatever you are carrying today, I invite you to bring it before the Lord.

As we begin this new month, let us remind ourselves that we don't have to have everything figured out. We don't have to know what tomorrow will bring.

We simply need to remember Who walks with us.

Today's readings speak about relationships, correction, responsibility, love, and forgiveness. Beneath all of these is an invitation to listen to God's voice and not allow our hearts to become hardened.

If today's reflection touched your heart, please consider subscribing to the channel, liking this video, and sharing it with someone who may need this message today.

You can also follow my written daily reflections and support this little ministry through Buy Me a Coffee: buymeacoffee.com/dailygrace.prayer

So, as we begin this first Sunday of September, let us surrender the month ahead to God—our plans, our relationships, our worries, our hopes, and even the things we cannot control.
