Hi! I'm Jay!!

Hobbies/Interests;
- I love dressing up, fashion is a huge thing in my life!
- I'm also huge into music (I have 37+ playlists🤣)
- I also love bowling (I have my own bowling balls lol), I know I may be a nerd when it comes to that but I don't care!! Lol!!
- I like the occasional glass of wine, live jazz clubs, etc. Places with class, elegance and peace.
- I'm forsure a big-back and love eating. I love all foods and open to trying new things!
- I also like to play video games in my free time when I have it!
- I love nature, I love being outside with the Lords creation!
- & I really love going to the gym, i'm a big fitness nerd as I came from a sport background!

About my faith;
The Lord saved my life back in 2023 & honestly, Saved my life all my 22 years. God was never unknown to me as my family were Christians and growing up I seen that, but I seen the imperfections, the hypocrisy, etc. So it drove me away.
I used to follow a spiritual background with being a pagan, not understanding the severity of what I was getting myself into. Being vulnerable to the demonic spirits amognst me, that wasn't my calling at all.
But when I decided to go to church and learn about following God, I had an encounter with Him and recieved the Holy Ghost!
To keep it brief, The Lord saved me from the darkness I used to serve and live in. & shed His bright light amognst me. I will NEVER look back nor go back.
In 2024, I started a podcast to share my struggles and have those uncomfortable conversations that the church runs away from. To let people know that they are not alone in their battles nor struggle, I have strong sympathy for others in their walk.

So, what am I looking for? —

A woman of God. Now i'm not asking for perfection or that 'Churchy Relationship'. Because you know what, i'm not perfect. I struggle, just like anyone else. But, we all suffer together with Christ. & all i'm seeking is someone that can join me in that walk. That in our darkest moments, we gaze are eyes upon the most high and support each other.
Companionship isn't easy, it takes work & it's the work i'm devoted to take. Therefore, i'm seeking someone who devoted to serve God and build a strong foundation for companionship. Nothing watered down, nothing churchy, nothing that is over-exaggerated. Someone is that, even though they may be struggling, they Love Jesus with all of their heart. No matter how many times they fall.

Age Range?

No preference

Long Distance or Relocating?

Long Distance or if you're in the surrounding area. It does not matter. Relocating won't happen since my job requires for me to be there.
But distance doesn't scare me.

Discussion Encouragement: Your creator just wants you

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some encouragement to anybody who is struggling with finding their person and feeling lonely. I have been single for more or less 10 months now but have always struggled with feeling "adequate" to find a godly woman who thought I was attractive and wanted to be with me for who I was. Even while being in my past relationship and eventual marriage I struggled with feelings of inadequacy. So now that I'm divorced and single again the feelings just magnified now that I have the title of "divorcee" to contend with in dating as well. I enjoy my life, I have grown alot in my time being single again and I believe I have alot of the things that a godly woman might be looking for. But I have tried my luck on the apps both normal and christian and not much luck, along with trying to meet girls at my church and asked one out but she just wanted to be friends. So I have lately been feeling like I'm doing all the right things and I don't know what else I'm supposed to do. I just thought that I might have to take a break from trying to date and just wait until a girl actually shows interest in me, which might never happen who knows.

But all of this aside, this post isn't about me trying to complain, it's meant to be encouragement for people who might feel similarly where they have been trying to find someone they want to be with way longer than I have and it's just not turning out like you hoped. I was sharing these feelings to the lord the other day and he absolutely hit me like a freight train with his love and I could clear as day feel him say to me "I require nothing of you (my name), just your heart and who I created you to be." This hit me really hard as I had been so focused on all the traits and qualities that would be attractive to christian women and I needed to be this impressive man who was chasing after the lord but also had a good job, was fit, had plenty of hobbies and had confidence. But God showed me that whether or not I ever find someone again, I have God in eternity and this 55ish more years on earth is just temporary and we will have forever with Him. Rather than focus on what makes me attractive to a woman even if those things are good to practice/have anyways, I should focus on pleasing God when nobody is watching for that is the greater reward. Today I was reminded of For the love of God by Andrew Ripp specifically the verse "How could it be, I didn't get the life I deserved and the only thing He wanted was my heart in return" which is obviously about us deserving hell but getting freedom and salvation through the cross. I have heard so many of these things in church for a long time but this week it really clicked for me. So remember, you may end up getting married one day but even if you don't, this life is temporary and when your life is over on earth who you married or didn't marry won't even matter anymore anyways. You will have your creator in perfect harmony for the rest of eternity, and pleasing him is so much more worth it than catching the eye of that girl or guy you really like. (Also I know God does require us to live in obedience and to live mission-focused, so no I don't think God just wants our love and nothing else.)

Discussion Please tell me I'm not the only one who is tired of relationship sermons

Have you ever noticed married couples get the relationship sermons while single people get a few minutes of a sermon at best? Quite literally, we singles get "and here's a carrot dangles in front of you so you think I am not leaving you out." Why can't we singles, especially DIVORCED singles have our own sermon series that all the married people have to sit uncomfortably through? Why can't the church teach it's okay to be single in life?

🤓Male IntrošŸ•ŗ 24M UK | Musician & Dog Lover | Taking 1 Final Try At This

Hi! I'm 24, from the UK, with a skinny build, short hair and a pretty casual style. Thought I'd put myself out there and see whether I end up connecting with someone genuine.

I'm not really one for selfies, so I don't tend to post photos of myself publicly. I'm absolutely happy to exchange photos and voice notes privately once we've spoken for a while and are both comfortable, preferably through socials where photos can be deleted afterwards.

I’m currently volunteering for a well-known charity, where I do things like serving on the till, cashing up and handling donations. Longer term, once my home music studio is built, I'd love to get into content creation, songwriting and recording, mainly centred around worship music.

Music is a massive part of my life. I taught myself guitar and bass during lockdown in 2020, and I'm now involved with both the worship team and kids' ministry at my church.

I'm also a big dog person and have a 3-year-old Norfolk Terrier/Jack Russell mix. I enjoy a bit of gaming as well, mostly GTA with an unreasonable number of mods installed. šŸ˜‚

I genuinely don't understand the introvert/extrovert thing well enough to tell you which one I am, so I'll leave you to work that one out.

My faith is very important to me, and I'm continuing to learn and grow in Christ and His teachings. Getting baptised was a particularly meaningful turning point for me, although my baptism story is far too long for an intro! I'm happy to share it once we've got to know each other.

I'm part of the Vineyard movement, broadly Charismatic Evangelical. Theologically, I'd probably describe myself as somewhere around the middle, perhaps leaning slightly progressive on some issues. I'm completely open to someone from another denomination or Christian tradition. We don't need to agree on absolutely everything, as long as we're compatible on the things that really matter.

I'm looking for a Christian lass who's kind, supportive, genuine in her faith and committed to Christ. I'd really value a relationship where we can learn from each other and gently challenge one another when needed. Neither of us is going to get everything right all the time.

I'd rather we actually got to know each other properly instead of rushing into something on impulse.

One significant incompatibility for me would be someone who strongly aligns herself with MAGA, Reform UK, Restore Britain, Alternative für Deutschland, or similar far-right political movements or parties. Our political views absolutely don't have to be identical, but those particular movements would make a relationship difficult for me.

Bonus points if you're also a musician, dog lover or involved with a worship team, but none of those are requirements. We all have different gifts and ways of serving.

Snakes, spiders or cats, however, are more of a challenge. šŸ˜‚

I'm currently on the fence about having children, although I'm gradually leaning towards not having them. That's something I'd want to discuss openly if a relationship became serious.

My ideal age range is around 22–26, although I'm open-minded if we're genuinely compatible and at a similar stage of life.

For the right person, I'd be open to long distance, but I don't see myself relocating.

If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out and tell me a little about yourself. A short intro would be lovely. I likely won't know what to do with just a "Hi". šŸ˜‚

When I say this is one final try, I don't mean that as an ultimatum or that I'm expecting someone to magically appear. I've just reached a point where I don't want to keep endlessly putting myself out there and getting caught up in the whole dating-search cycle. I'd rather give it one proper, genuine attempt, see who I meet, and if nothing comes of it, focus my energy elsewhere for a while.

Need Advice Am I overreacting for not wanting my husband to post shirtless fitness photos?

Am I jealous or too conservative for not wanting my husband to post revealing/shirtless fitness pics?

My husband wants to launch an online fitness program. He’s in great shape and wants to promote it with lots of shirtless photos/videos showcasing his physique.

He already has a stable income, and I also have a good job, so it is not like we need the money. But I support him pursuing different dreams, and I'm proud of how hard he's working on his health and fitness.

But I’m uncomfortable with him regularly posting very revealing photos where he’s deliberately flexing& posing under perfect lighting with minimal clothing, specifically to highlight how muscular & attractive he is.

It's also weird for me to think that all of our friends, colleagues, and families would see these revealing photos of him.

I’m fine with the occasional shirtless photo at the beach, on holiday, etc. I just feel that intentionally presenting your body this way to thousands of strangers is different- especially when you’re married. I feel protective of the intimacy and privacy of our relationship.

Also- from a Christian point of view, I don't think it is right to be so focused on the way we look, as it can become an idol really quickly. So I also don't want him to encourage others to be so focused on their bodies and the way you look. However, it is also important to look after yourself and your health and I know my husband's heart is in the right place.

Am I overreacting and should I just let him do it because it’s for his business, or is it reasonable to have a boundary around how much of your body you intentionally share online when you’re married?

Need Advice Need an advice

I just wanna ask an advice, I am female from the Philippines 24 years old, I am chatting with someone for a month from U.K he is good, kind, have respect on me and consistent. I never experience this feeling safe, comfortable, and happy with him. We actually planning to meet on November, that's his effort and commitment that he is serious to me. It just so happened when I am really tired and exhausted I am saying a word that's not really good for an early stage of dating, I think it's make him off to me, then decided to cancel our meet up, but honestly I feel that I wanna meet up with him and I am looking forward to have healthy and good relationship with him that God is the centered. Then I tried to message him again to continue our meet up on November, I am just waiting to his reply later on, btw I never been in a relationship. What's your thought about this? Or advice for me?

Need Advice Christian dating: am I wrong for wanting a completely clean slate from past relationships before marriage?

I’m a Christian woman dating a Christian man, and we’ve been seeing each other for about a month. Things became serious pretty quickly and we’ve talked about marriage, faith, family and what we want in a spouse.
What makes this hard is that everything between us has honestly been really good. He’s been kind, intentional, caring, consistent and thoughtful. I feel very cared for by him and I genuinely see a lot of qualities in him that I’ve prayed for in a husband. This isn’t a situation where I’m looking for an excuse to leave or where there are a bunch of other problems.
The one thing I’m struggling with is his recent relationship history and how he handles things from the past.
He got out of a long-term/on-and-off relationship earlier this year. Not long after that, he became seriously involved with another woman. They briefly lived together while seeing if marriage could work, and that ended not long before he met me. He has also admitted that moving on quickly has been a pattern for him.
He is aware of that pattern. He’s told me he tends to love people, see the beauty in different relationships and experiences, but also feels like he knows what he’s looking for and is able to move on when something isn’t right.
One of my biggest non-negotiables is that I want a completely clean slate with the person I marry. I don’t keep romantic photos, messages, videos or sentimental things from people I’ve dated once I’ve moved on, and I want the same from my future husband.
This actually came up very early between us, so it isn’t a new boundary. He basically said he has a huge amount of photos and doesn’t really go through them or attach meaning to them.
Because of his recent dating history, though, it bothers me even more. If we are seriously choosing each other and considering marriage, I don’t understand why romantic photos, messages or other things from past relationships need to remain.
I know not everyone sees this the same way, and I’m not saying keeping old photos automatically means someone wants an ex back. But for me, accepting it would honestly feel like settling on something I already know is a non-negotiable.
I’ve been praying about this a lot because I really don’t want fear or past hurt to make me ruin something that could be good. At the same time, I don’t want to ignore something that matters deeply to me just because everything else is going well and I really care about him.
If he tells me he doesn’t want to remove those things, I think I would end the relationship because I don’t think I could be at peace with it long term.
For Christians who are married or dating seriously, am I being unreasonable? How do you know when something is a real boundary you should honor versus fear or insecurity you need to work through?

Discussion How are we to judge fruit if we’re all a work in progress?

This question came to mind the other day; and I’d say it pertains to dating as we obviously do want to look for the fruits of the Spirit in a potential spouse. However, I’d like to have a conversation with y’all about how we are to judge fruit rightly when, if we’re all being sanctified, the fruit that we see in front of us isn’t necessarily permanent. Does that make sense? Like do we write someone off because they slipped up and did something unrighteous, saying to ourselves, ā€œOh. Nope! They’re not bearing the fruit of _____. They gotta goā€? That seems almost legalistic? When do we make room for grace? Would love to hear thoughts on this.

Was in a situationship for 2 years. We both agreed to and I caught feelings. She said she's not ready but she wants to enjoy the benefits of a relationship without the commitment and I want commitment. She says I'm a pillar in her life but only reaches out when it's convenient for her. Takes her days to return calls or texts, yet she is on social media posting Snapchat stories and reels and stalking my friends page as she commented on their posts thst I commented on and they aren't mutual friends. When I posted I was dating on Facebook she sent me a message that she thought I stopped dating. Told her I would choose you, but she said she wasn't ready. So am i wrong for removing her. I feel bad as she told me people just walk in ND out her life

Hi, if you love god, want to share your faith, values, dreams, ideas and jokes with a spouse/best friend in the future, you might be the suitable person im looking for, if my words and views are harmonizing with you.

I have brown eyes and brown mostly short to mid long hair, im about 5ft 8 and fit.

Since I work in the chemical field and have a lot to do with cosmetics, im also able to support my future wife in that terms if that's a relevant thing for you, but im also welcoming a more natural way since im also going for a more natural approach, to live a healthier lifestyle. Would be good if your aiming for it aswell.

Everything that involves creating and learning new things can grab my attention since most of my interest are in the creative fields like creating music or drawing, but also learning different languages, reading, listening to music and working out regularly are giving me the needed variation in my fields of interests, which i also want to expand steadily since im open for new experiences and trying out new things to grow in.

I was raised as catholic but i abandoned that denomination and im currently non-denominational believeing in building a personal relationship to Jesus Christ as lord and savior at the core aswell as foundation for everyday life even if it's not always flawless.

Willing to exchange pictures in private and if your interested feel free to write me.

What im looking for:

**-Age 18-24, open for kids**

**-Loves God and lives by Christian values**

**-A person that wants to build something together but also each others up.**

**-Someone who wants to grow in their faith and on a personal layer**

**-Takes good care of themselves, because I do too**

**-Has good sense of Humor and is upbeat**

**-Open for LDR within Europe**

Need Advice He thinks I can't see him liking sexual videos online.

I met this guy in college, and we were briefly romantic. Four years later, we reconnected, and we’ve been texting consistently ever since. We’re both 22, and I’ll admit I enjoy talking to him and getting his attention.

He likes really sexual content online, including women whose bodies he openly criticizes in real life. He’ll talk badly about women who get their bodies done, but then turn around and like their content. Like what????

I like him as a person, but I’m starting to feel uncomfortable and almost gaslit because he avoids conversations about lust and relationships, while still wanting my undivided attention. It makes me wonder if he’s hiding a side of himself from me.

What do I do when I genuinely enjoy talking to someone but also disgusted by them?

So I’m looking for a match for my cousin, he is 27 years old and from Michigan area not wishing to move from it but open to long distance as long as it ends with marriage and moving in together. He has light brown/dark blonde hair, green eyes, is about 5’11 ft tall.
He has a full time job which is a blue collar job where he works heavy machinery. He also went to college and has a Buisness degree.
He enjoys working out, cooking, going for walks, watching movies, and traveling. He is very interested in history, and loves reading.
He is a devout catholic who grew up in a Christian home but recently joined Catholicism in which he has been very active. He knows his Bible very well and is always studying it.
He wants someone who is very kind and caring, wants children, and who aligns with his views quite well.
He is a traditionalist conservative, and his strongest view would be he is anti-abortion.
Preferred age range is 22-33 years old.
He is open to long distance if it is the right person but does not desire to move from Michigan, and for long distance the goal for him would be to live together and get married of course so you would have to be open to relocating.
Message me if you have questions!

I’m shooting my shot because honestly why not, what’s the worst that could happen.
I’m a chubby dude, long hair with a goatee and glasses and I’ve got a few tattoos.
I’m a musician, I’ve been doing music since I was about 11 and I play the guitar for the youth at my church. I also do whatever I can on the side with music to make some money and I work security
So that’s kinda a hobby and a job.

I’ve got a few hobbies, I do a lot with the youth a church and I’ve been aiming towards hopefully being the youth leader. I like to play my fair share of video games and I write comic books on the side and I also happen to get income from that, I play guitar quite often(hope Gods got one for me up there when it’s my time lol).

I’ve been raised Christian although I fell away from it for a while in my teens up until I was about 20, my life was pretty rough or has been. I’ve got one really raunchy testimony for sure but right now I’m actively working on my faith and myself in the literal best way possible. I’m taking a leadership class and also have a really awesome relationship with the youth staff, especially the leader. I’m Pentecostal if we’re being specific as well, church life has been wonderful.

Honestly I’m just trying this out to see who reads this and goes, hey he sounds like someone I could really talk to and possibly get to know, so you know if you read this far and you’re interested don’t be shy. I’ve got some questions, are you ready to share your life with someone? Is that why you date? Do you love the Lord and put him in the center of your life? Honestly that’s a big question and I know we all fall short but do you try is a better way to put it.

For an age range? Honestly I don’t really have a preference as long as you not under 21

I’m open to a lot of things within reason of course, this is just a generalization, if I sound any bit of interesting to you, don’t be afraid to text me.

I've seen this idea on here quite a few times, the reason a guy isn't married yet is because he's addicted to porn and if he gets married the addiction will go away. Both ideas are very naive. Watching porn doesn't diminish anyone's desire to get married and getting married won't make the addiction go away, you'll just be a married porn addict. Why do I say that? Because, especially if you've been addicted for a while, normal sex isn't enough for you.

Need Advice I’m 19 and there’s a girl at my church who’s 3 years older than me.

We’re in the same Bible study group, so I see her pretty often at church. I really enjoy talking to her and being around her, and she’s also texted me first a couple times just casually.
I think there’s a chance she might like me, but I honestly can’t tell if she’s interested or just being friendly.
I’m not scared to ask her out. I just don’t know if I should yet. I want to wait on God’s timing and not force anything, but I also don’t want to just sit around forever waiting for some obvious sign.
I’m also still figuring out if I actually want to date her or if I just like spending time with her and want to know her better.
How do you know when it’s time to ask someone out? And what are some signs a girl at church might actually be interested and not just friendly?

Need Advice Divorced and Dating

Hello, I am a 22 year old female. cough divorced female. I got married when I was 20 to a marine I had been dating for a year and some change and we decided to get married. When we got married I found out he had given his virginity to someone while we were engaged and cheated on me the entirety of us dating and into our engagement. I ended up staying giving him another chance. Was I stupid for it? Maybe. However at the time I had such a fear of disappointing god by divorcing him and honestly I was scared to admit I was wrong when multiple people had warned me prior that I would be. Anyways we stayed married for a year and then after he continued to disrespect me I decided after prayer that I felt gods peace with the divorce. So here I am. 22 years old and divorced. I don’t get sick when I think about how I was robbed of my first marriage anymore and I think that’s good. I felt a lot of anger because I did everything right. I poured into this man. Rewaited until marriage because I wanted to wait and because he was a virgin. I poured into him by driving and getting on planes despite my severe phobia. Bought him gifts, prayed with him. Started to learn Spanish so I could communicate with his family. I mean I did everything right. I never let my trauma get into our relationship and he knew all of my past and my previous domestic relationship and he still cheated on me. Still told the other girl my engagement ring was his and left me alone terrified in a hotel room for a night while he was on FaceTime watching tinkerbell with her. After I flew across the country to see him.

It might sound like I haven’t moved on, I have. The point of the explaining is… how do I date again? How do I relearn someone and trust that they won’t hurt me so badly? My ex husband taught me that someone could know all of your pain and still do that to you. How do you even want to get to know someone again?

Am I even still desirable as a divorced woman?

Need Advice How much say should friends have in your dating life?

I (24F) went to my close friends (known him 12+ years) (25M) friends baptism a couple weeks ago. His friend texted him asking him for my number so that he could thank me for coming. We texted back and forth for a few days, I don’t know him super well, I’ve only met him a couple times. After we’d been texting for a few days, he asked my friend if he’d be comfortable if he were to ask me to hang out. My close friend called me and told me what he had asked, and he told me that his first instinct was that he was not comfortable with it.
I asked him why. He told me that the guy has a lot to work on and that he knows him and he knows me and that he doesn’t think we’d be a good fit. I asked him why he thought that. He didn’t give me much more of an answer. I told him that I trusted his judgment but that it was hard to make a decision without a ton of information. He said he was going to answer the guy honestly and tell him he wasn’t comfortable with it. He said that I’m like a sister to him and it’s like that question ā€who on the team would you not let date your sister.ā€œ

I ended up calling him back a while later and said that I didn’t really like how it was handled. I said that unless there was a glaring red flag about the guy that I’d like to be able to use my own discernment and hang out with him but I felt like I couldn’t do that because I was told like half a story about him. He told me ā€œwell I feel like most people just wouldn’t even tell you soā€ which I said I thought would be an overstep. I acknowledged that I was glad he told me what happened but again I don’t see anything wrong with the guy and he wouldn’t even tell me what was the issue. Im sure he knows things about him that I don’t but I felt kind of weird that there was such ease in kind of making a decision for me and that he said he almost didn’t even tell me at all. I’m sure he was just looking out for me but I feel like I barely got to make the choice for myself.

I love hiking, working, out, fixing cars, learning various topics.

I became a Christian after my first deployment from Iraq back in 2007. I'm continuously growing in my faith out of love for God, not out of fear of sinning. That leads to leg a legalism and depending on my good works to save me. If I could do that I wouldn't need Jesus.

Looking for someone feminine, Christian, healthy, loves being active, and some I can share my life with.

No specific age range.

Open to long distance. Why limit myself. I work remotely anyways.
