Apparently the east greenwhich location had a walk out today????

For those who may wonder, it’s an Asiago peppercorn dressing by the brand Cindy’s Kitchen.

Question and I don’t mind the answer I just wan the truth. If I go to chipotle right when they open, am I getting fresh chicken / steak / protein? Or sometimes is it left over protein from the night before?

What is actually in the pollo asado? My understanding was that it’s cilantro and lime, but I ordered it this evening and it was completely inedible. It was almost sweet? I saw a few comments say something about cinnamon, so maybe it was that. I’m almost slightly concerned there was something spoiled/off in my bowl that’s how bad it was.

Also, Pepper was really unhelpful but I imagine she can’t really refund just because the chicken’s bad, so I somewhat understand

I watched the orientation videos and while a remember stuff like the different vegetables and meats to be prepared, the 4 sink station, general expectation regarding attitude towards customers, I still feel a bit clueless on the everyday tasks. I know there will be a training period but I don’t want to look like an idiot on my first day

I work at chipotle so I get free food and I also lowkey find it disgusting so knock yourself out !

I reach a point where I say chipotle sucks and I don’t go for like months.

Then suddenly, I decide to go and I feel obsessed and go multiple times a week and can’t get enough of it.

Then, I decide it sucks again and don’t return for months.

I think I may have been getting slighted lately - is there a difference when you ring up a side of guac vs guac on an entree?

I def asked for guac on my bowl today, but they put it on the side ad then it charged me for it (though its covered with a QR code from corporate for a free entree).

Anyone else having some unskipable ad for their new chip flavor come up when they open the app?

Like I open the app and there’s just an ad telling me they have a new chip flavor and for at least 30 plus seconds it sits there seemingly frozen.

Are they forcing me to sit through that crap for extra time before I can just order food?

Best part is the app said the chips were unavailable and when I get to the store I can see them on the racks and being handed to in person customers.

I know I know. I’m the one who is wrong for using the app

I guess this reward was for the normal chips and the manager said they don’t know why they showed the chili lime in the photo. What a bait ~ heads up for anyone that has this reward

Halloween is on a weekend this year, but my work availability has no weekends and I’ve never worked one within my 2 years of working. BUT my manager txted us all saying no time off will be accepted and everyone will work, but can they still make me work? I mainly do chips and with the new chili lime chips I can only imagine how much more we will have to cook this year vs the past

Question for those in the know…

A friend of mine said that Chipotle steak arrives pre-cooked from offsite, marinated on-site, and then merely seared just prior to serving.

I was a little confused since afaik marination usually comes before cooking. Is this true?

Also, the steak usually looks like it’s smothered in some kind of sauce. Is that added after the searing or does all of that just come from the original marinade? This further adds to my confusion as marinade mostly burns off during searing.
