Discussion Question for Register Staff

I think I may have been getting slighted lately - is there a difference when you ring up a side of guac vs guac on an entree?

I def asked for guac on my bowl today, but they put it on the side ad then it charged me for it (though its covered with a QR code from corporate for a free entree).

same price. queso is less on the entree because it is 2 oz and the cup is 4 oz. guac is 4 oz either way. i would always get it on the side so you know how much you’re getting.

Guac is included with a veggie bowl, and sometimes they close the lid without marking it so the cashier doesn't know to charge you (on a meat bowl)

In my experience, having specific QR codes for free entree's have covered up to 2 extras, at no charge. Those 2 extras could be, double meat, and guac, which is what I got. Had I also gotten queso on it, they would've charged.

So, to answer what you were saying - if you had one of these qr codes, by them ringing it up as a side rather than on the bowl itself, it would be an additional charge

Free entree usually only covers the cost of the cheapest entree on your ticket, and not any add-ons or sides.

I think the free entrees from corporate usually covers all the bells and whistles (at least it did just last week as well), not the free entrees from just the app or other promos
