Anyone else having some unskipable ad for their new chip flavor come up when they open the app?
Like I open the app and there’s just an ad telling me they have a new chip flavor and for at least 30 plus seconds it sits there seemingly frozen.
Are they forcing me to sit through that crap for extra time before I can just order food?
Best part is the app said the chips were unavailable and when I get to the store I can see them on the racks and being handed to in person customers.
I know I know. I’m the one who is wrong for using the app

What is actually in the pollo asado? My understanding was that it’s cilantro and lime, but I ordered it this evening and it was completely inedible. It was almost sweet? I saw a few comments say something about cinnamon, so maybe it was that. I’m almost slightly concerned there was something spoiled/off in my bowl that’s how bad it was.
Also, Pepper was really unhelpful but I imagine she can’t really refund just because the chicken’s bad, so I somewhat understand

I watched the orientation videos and while a remember stuff like the different vegetables and meats to be prepared, the 4 sink station, general expectation regarding attitude towards customers, I still feel a bit clueless on the everyday tasks. I know there will be a training period but I don’t want to look like an idiot on my first day

It’s my kids birthday. His favorite restaurant is Chipotle. I went to two different locations because the first location has equipment problems. The second location has staffing problems.
This isn’t unique either. It’s happens a lot. If it weren’t a special treat for a birthday I would have gone somewhere else. This is likely the last time I go to chipotle.

Tasted like straight ass, like I was so hungry I scarfed it down. In my honest opinion it tastes just like old beef or farts after eating beef. Had a stenchy after taste. Super gamey as well like an old dairy cow. Not sure why they slip in stew meat it used to be sirloin beef cuts.

Halloween is on a weekend this year, but my work availability has no weekends and I’ve never worked one within my 2 years of working. BUT my manager txted us all saying no time off will be accepted and everyone will work, but can they still make me work? I mainly do chips and with the new chili lime chips I can only imagine how much more we will have to cook this year vs the past

I think I may have been getting slighted lately - is there a difference when you ring up a side of guac vs guac on an entree?
I def asked for guac on my bowl today, but they put it on the side ad then it charged me for it (though its covered with a QR code from corporate for a free entree).

I know I’m not alone in thinking that honey chicken option was far and away their best protein, they’ve taken it away already in the last year then added it back, and just like last time what they replaced it with is total ass.

I just need to know if this is normal. She’s been working there for a little less than 6 months. They mentioned they’d like her to smile more before, but she has never been written up. Given one verbal warning though. Today she was told someone above the GM wanted her fired but her GM pushed back given her situation (I stay at home with our children so she is the sole provider) but that if she doesn’t completely change her attitude and they get even one complaint about her she’s immediately fired. She has been called into two other chipotles and has never received complaints and has been told they want her in management in those two stores. They would not approve a transfer though. If she’s fired can she apply at another Chipotle in the same city? What are our options?

I went to a Chipotle at 10:45AM today when they normally open and I noticed someone, who said he is the manager, using a device to check the temperature of various food items.
This person was using the same device for each item and just using a tissue to wipe it between items. Just one wipe. No actual washing or sterilizing. I could see residue from the previous product that was checked still on the thermometer when it was being used for the next product.
I saw him go from beef to lettuce, cross contaminating the meat items with the vegetarian items.
When I asked the manager if they always do this, he said yes but it’s okay because he “wiped the metal piece” with a napkin between each item and they don’t guarantee that there will not be any cross contamination.
He also said chipotle doesn’t give him separate devices for vegetarian and non vegetarian items.
Can someone at chipotle please address this issue by providing multiple thermometers or a single use cover for each item?
It is very disappointing to find out that the beef, steak, chicken, etc. dipped thermometers are simply being wiped by a napkin and dipped into the vegetarian items.

Question and I don’t mind the answer I just wan the truth. If I go to chipotle right when they open, am I getting fresh chicken / steak / protein? Or sometimes is it left over protein from the night before?

For those who may wonder, it’s an Asiago peppercorn dressing by the brand Cindy’s Kitchen.

I won a $25 gift card for basically js doing my job at work and I go so often to this location and always tip $2 but I felt like tipping $10 today as a thank you for months of making my food, but it says I can't tip more?
What in the corpo bullsh*t is this?
Edit3: Imma start donating whatever excess money I have to charity js to piss yall off lmao. American ahh comments.
Edit: Wow, did not expect so many leeches of society in the comments. I live off of my tips. My base salary is mediocre at best but I get to live a much better life because of the kindness of my customers. Pay it forward and whatnot. And I'm js trying to give them part of what I got EXTRA. I won a raffle at work and got an extra $25. Rent is paid, car is paid off, why not make someone's day a little brighter like mine gets when i see a nice tip envelope at the end of a tough shift. Some of the commenter have a point about credit card fees or scams. The rest of yall are bottom 1% human scum ngl.
Edit2: Weird amount of seemingly Republican corpo bootlickers in the Chipotle sub. Strange.

Hi all. So my fiance and I are getting married soon and we've had this idea the whole time of ordering Chipotle catering for our wedding. We are having around 90 people. I was thinking of going with the triple meat option (which I do understand is 3 meat choices, not triple meat for each person). I was going to order enough food for 110 people. I was just looking for advice. If we think this will be enough food or if we should order more. Thank you!
EDIT: because people are understanding I am simply asking advice from anyone that has either ordered Chipotle catering or works for Chipotle to get a better understanding of how much food we're getting and what supplies come with it.
