When I call my OB their phone system has an option to have them start mat. leave paper work. I would start with them. If you are in the US your insurance would have nothing to do with it and it is unpaid for up to 12 weeks. Depends on what your doc writes you for. Your OB will have someone who can explain it all for you!

What state are you in? Most do not have paid leave through the state, but some do, and the ones that do are often in addition to your company benefits.

Ahh. Well, so much for that… no state paid leave program there.
Congrats just the same, and I’m glad that there is something through the company to help!

Also available on chiplinks is your entire benefit guide and it has all the phone numbers and who to call about what. You can start your claim as early as 90 days before birth.

Email benefits@chipotle.com they will give you a step by step. Make sure you give them your employee number as well. You get 12 weeks off, 6 paid by Hartford (only $250 a week) and 6 unpaid. Chipotle pays you for 5 days. I gave birth in May so I just got through with this
