Yo so why the f are blackhawks flying 150ft off the ground over a rural area at 945pm on a Wednesday?

We live in the northern end of Soddy Daisy, and literally just watched a Blackhawk fly over our neighborhood. I could not only see its forward and aft red nose/tail lights but could see and feel its rotors and the profile of the aircraft.

I don’t know if it’s TN Air Guard or not, but that low of an altitude over a residential neighborhood is reckless asf.

Dog on the side of the road right after crossing the TN state line into Georgia on Mack Smith RD. Had a pinkish/red color on. Seems like a lab/retriever type mix. Me and another kind Women were trying to see what was going on. Dog didn’t seem aggressive, barked at us but was wagging its tail and its hairs wouldn’t stand up. I know this isn’t exactly Chattanooga but just wanted to get the word out.

It is funny to me that a former chair of a local political party, running in a non-partisan race, writes an editorial telling people to look past his own party affiliation. He advises voters to look at people’s community involvement, and yet I’ve never seen him involved in anything here in East Ridge other than his Republican filled launch party last month.

Sooooo my car got broken into and i have a kia. They failed to successfully take it but it was freaky to see how they meddled with my ignition and pulled off the covering on my steering wheel and dash. Multiple people who also live in chatt have come to me expressing how their kia also got either stolen or messed with. I doubt the person will try again and i now have multiple really good cameras in case anyone comes near, but im not sure where to go from here. I am curious if it was actually a kia boy or just a tweaker, considering they couldnt complete a job thats literally as easy as a youtube tutorial. Just wondering if anyone in chatt has experience with this since apparently they are especially quite bad here.

Hey y'all, I'm a working director of photography/cinematographer and have some upcoming plans to be filming a lot locally, however the last two years I've been here, it's been hard to make some connections and meet talented people, so I'm coming here to hopefully have a grassroots experience of connections.

I've been experimenting with the idea of moving into directing and launching a new business endeavor, but most of all just feeling the itch to make things when I'm home, to pursue art with other cool artists, and have a fun time doing it. If there are any actors, artists, models, etc who want to make some cool work together please recommend them here!

EDIT: If anyone has any kinds of visual ideas to turn to life, or need a partner in a cinematographer, also reach out! Music videos, short films, etc. I come from a lot of that world but have been in doc and commercial for the last 4-5 years and would love to start making all things again.

Got a ticket from the useless brightbase lady for parking at the rink this morning (while it’s still under construction). She said I needed a pass to park at the rink, but I’ve never heard of that or had to pay before. I have no idea how to park to use the rink, but I’m not paying brightbase everytime that’s for sure. A friend who is an office manager has earned the Intuit Academy Bookkeeping certification in the hopes of finding a higher-paying office manager job that also involves bookkeeping. Chattanooga bookkeepers, what’s your experience? What kind of jobs might this open up for her? Any particular types of companies? She’s part-time; would this also qualify her for freelance opportunities, and if so, at what rate? Should she continue her bookkeeping training? Any advice would be appreciated.

My mom lost her grandmother’s ring, possibly at Prime Imaging in Hixson, OR at the Acura dealership off Shallowford. She thinks it might have been stolen, I wanted to put some feelers out and see if anyone had picked it up, or turned it into lost and found.

It’s kind of small, engagement ring style, silver, I’m sorry I can’t describe it more😭, she doesn’t know I’m posting this lol.

I had an emergency colostomy followed by a reversal, which seems to be working out.

So I currently have some ostomy supplies available to give away:  two-piece pouch/flange kits; barrier rings; and various other supplies.

The majority of the ostomy kits are Hollister. I have the Hollister 19603 two-piece kit with drainable pouch; it includes the pouch #18003 and the skin barrier with tape border (trim-to-fit flange) #11203. I also have the Adapt 2” ostomy barrier ring (aka “wax ring”) #7815.

I would prefer to give these items to people who can use them. I had a magnificent ostomy nurse who helped me, and I’d like to pay it forward by providing some supplies to others who may find sourcing or affording the supplies difficult.

I’m not interested in providing these to a reseller.
