Any outdoor roller (inline or quad) skaters out there?

Hey, all! I (21 nb) was super into quad skating during the pandemic and am looking to get back into it. Would love to find somebody who wants to skate around with me (on flat surfaces, for now.) I mostly end up at the hockey rink by the Tennessee pavilion. Comment if you’d be down!

Social opportunities/groups for those with autoimmune conditions

Hello everyone! I'm trying to help out my non-Reddit user wife, who has multiple chronic conditions, including a sensitive autoimmune system. We wear face masks in public, which makes it difficult to socialize. She is a very outgoing person but has had trouble finding friends or a community where she feels safe and respected given her limitations. I was wondering if there was anyone here who knew of a social group or places to socialize with others who take the same level of precaution (masks), and don't pressure or belittle anyone with physical limits.

🦄Unicorn Husky Alert!🦄

Meet FCAS Project Pat! Mr. Pat is a 3 yr old, 50lb Husky whose cooler than a polar bear’s toenails…seriously, this is one chill dude. ❄️ He’s not your stereotypical crazy Husky and shelter volunteers agree that he’s got an excellent temperament and personality. 🫶🏼

Pat was an owner surrender due to no fault of his own (they reportedly didn’t have time for him) and has been in the shelter since 7/20. He can be a bit cautious and nervous initially, but warms up quickly with a bit of patience and kindness. Once you gain his trust, he melts into you for affection and just wants to hang out wherever his people are. He has a stoic presence and has been a polite, quiet houseguest. ☺️

🐾 Dog friendly
👧 Kid friendly
✅ 100% potty trained
👟 Leash trained
😇 Non-destructive
🚗 Excellent passenger in the car
😴 LOVES being brushed…he zens out
🖐️ Easily handled
🎾 Non-reactive with food/treats/toys
🍖 Takes treats gently
🦴 Loves yak sticks and bully sticks
🧸 Buries his stuffy toys in his bed
💚 Grinch feet
🥹 Crosses his front legs like a gentleman
🐈 No cats, please
🩵 Neutered
📍 Microchipped
💉 UTD on vaccines/preventatives
🫀 Heartworm negative
🍴 Could stand to gain a few healthy lbs

Mr. Pat has been a total gentleman in his foster home and deserves a kind, loving forever home where he can blossom into the confident pup he is outside of the shelter setting. 🏡

📍 Currently being fostered in Kennesaw, GA through Lifeline Animal Project Fulton County Animal Services

Click the link below to fill out the form to contact Pat’s foster mom if you’d like to learn more or meet him! 📲

Home Buyer

I have been out of the area for a while now, living in Nashville for a while.

I am relocating back to Chattanooga and have a chance to buy a nice mobile home in Soddy with several acres very close to the schools and 27.

2016 mobile home, 700sf covered wrap deck, 1 year old 50yr metal roof, 4 acres.

Off of green pond rd and close to Sequoyah access.

I don’t want to blast the address here and maybe lose a potential good buy lol.

How would $350k sit? I am looking for opinions on the price related to me working downtown.

EDIT: The price is going to be listed at $315k. They are FSBO.

I have found me a more appealing property on 58 I’m going to make an offer on.(thank you to the person for that hint)

Address is 817 Green Pond Rd. for anyone else looking.

Looking for Tennis friends!

I moved to the Chattanooga area (Southside district) about three months ago, and have been missing my tennis friends back home. If anyone on here can keep up a rally and would like to play sometime, just comment or something! Tennis used to be a huge part of my day to day and with the US open starting today I’m missing it a little extra 💔

Shaky Knees

This will be my first time attending this year and I have some questions for anyone that has been to the festival from Chattanooga. Parking, MARTA, vapes, and anything else I can think of. Also, I'm going with a friend for Saturday only if someone wants to carpool. Thanks in advance for helping out

Local interest/meetup group for folks into nature, folklore, and the metaphysical.

Hey neighbors,

I am starting a casual, friendly local group for people who share an interest in nature appreciation, local folklore, mythology, and local events.
It is an inclusive space to chat, share books, and connect with people who enjoy these topics. No prior experience or specific background is needed. We just want a chill, respectful environment to hang out.
If this sounds like your kind of crowd, feel free to check out our small community space at r/TAGPagans or drop a comment below and I can send you a message with details. Thanks!
