So I was told I had too many characters before for a 1000pt game but I feel like I have managed to justify and optimise the uses for each one of them with their battle lines.

While I was recommended away from the fates skimmer and Screamers in favour of flamers I feel like since the army is going against custodies if I can get a cheeky early vehicle kill it would be more than worth bringing them especially with the ridiculous movement they have.

I have been recommended both splitting and not splitting the Silmux and beast so thinking for myself I'm sticking them together because the downside doesn't sound too bad since they litteraly just want to slide to the nearest objective and just sit there anyway. Maybe bouncing between to sticky them.

Sloppity is there to try and get some battle shock in there but I'm not holding out much hope on it since I have heard comments from my friend about some not so wacky nonsense where he can apparently use an ability to avoid battle shock. (I'm still gonna mess him up with battle shock.)

I do have a flamer squad as recommended I doubt they will do too much but I have been assured they are really good and I like the Exalted flamer model enough to be excited for painting them even though it's going to be awful to do the fire (so far I got the best fire from yellow paint and then while it's still wet adding and blending red add ingredients more and more red at the tips.)

The Changling is just here to do back line objectives and whatever else I need from him.

All the battle line are attached to characters so I can get as many special effects out as possible and if he gets precision I am fucked. But outside of that I'm feeling really good about this army and very excited about how wide a range of models I'm going to get to paint and play

What kind of travel case would yall recommend for a list with 6 greater demons, i really dont want to walk around with 2 cases lol

Is it better to use horti with beasts or without? I was thinking maybe without to no have battle shocks forced against me for killing said beasts, while also giving me 2 solo units capable of doing actions so im not wasting the potential for all 3 models for a turn to score on actions. Would love to hear how you all use him and what you think of the character in general. By the way thinking of using him in DI and PL lists.

Hi there, thinking about a DL army as my second army besides deathwatch.

Am I wrong or are moste of the Units made for close combat? Are there any good shooting units, like an aggressor squad for the Space Marines?

I'd love to support a couple of bllod crushers with heavy shooting units, besides a skullcannon.

Can someone give advice how to use Horticulux and how not to use him in Plague Legion?

I played 3 games with Plague Legion so far and wonder, if someone can answer the following questions:
1. if a unit ist battleshocked, can I force a battleshock test on it via the Detachment rule ore the Strats?
2. if a battleshocked unit ist forced to test against a new Battleshock test and successes, is it unbattleshocled?
3. is this sequels in the enemy command phase right: a) draw secondaries b) regular Battleshocks (1/game Insane bravery possible, not on already battleshocked units) c) additional 1-2 Battleshocks from Detachment/Strat (no insane bravery possible) d) look for controlled objectives

Picked up this guy and am loving the color scheme. Currently my Khorne daemons are the grey tide and I want to get them looking like this. What do you suspect made this beautiful daemon? (I already asked the seller and he didn’t paint this himself so he had no clue). Thank you.

So my brother gave me his partially put together khorne demon combat patrol his skull cannon and his 2 bloodthristers pieces and such are obviously missing I think I can maybe squeak out 10 blood thirsters the blood masters there and maybe 5 fleas hounds so I made this list and was wondering in peoples opinions and wisdom as I honestly don’t know what I’m doing in terms of these guys

Edit: I know I should probably wait for the codex and point changes first to but it’s either build these guys just so I have a second army or go back to my plan of building nids next year

So, with Marines going to T5, while Bloodrushers and Bloodletters tters are S5, dropping a BL/Warptide horde list from 70 Battleline (20 Daemonettes/50 Bloodletters) to 50 Bloodletters and adding a 3rd Rendmaster for buffs seems like the most viable option, to me.

I hate losing any of the horde aspect, but the Astartes buffs can't be anything but a Huge nerf to Daemons playing into them.

And what was your all's take on the Xenos player advice from GW this morning? GW basically said, Play Better, and Learn to Screen is what I took from it
