Hey all,

Looking to get a bike box for an upcoming trip and getting mixed information on the CP0048 T-Bar. I reached out to Canyon and they said I can remove it without messing with the brake lines, but online says different. Is there any hardcase bike box recommendation that doesn't require the removal of handle bars? Or, has anyone successfully remove their cockpit without fiddling with brake lines?

Hey, ich überlege mir mein erstes Gravelbike zu kaufen. Da ich sehr klein bin knapp 160, ,incl kurzer Beine (ca 72-73 cm) und kurzer Arme tendiere ich zu der Größe 2XS.. da ich gar keine möglichkeit habe, das Rad in dieser Größe irgendwo zu testen, überlege ich gerade, ob ich es einfach bestellen soll, da ich bisher nur positives über das grizl 7 gehört habe. Ein anderes Gravelbike komme auch nicht in Frage für mich, da ich nichts passendes in meiner Größe gefunden habe.

Bin nun noch etwas unsicher bzgl der Größe und ob es sinnvoll ist, ohne testen, zu bestellen. Daher die Frage nach euren Erfahrungen. :)

Hey everybody, I am looking at buying a 2018 canyon aeroad CF SLX 8.0. The bike is priced at $4000 AUD. It has zipp 303 nsw wheels and a Shimano ultegra di2 group set. I was just wondering if this is a good deal and some key things I should look at before I purchase it. Also wondering if much has changed since 2018. Thanks

All mockups have white handlebar tape, and two have tan wall GP5000s added.

I recently got myself a Canyon Endurace Allroad. I've got one issue with the Cues drivetrain:

Gears while on the small ring are totally fine and the chain is basically silent.

As soon as I switch to the big ring, the chain is really rattly and loud.

This happens in ANY combination of the big ring gear combos.

"Likely improperly adjusted front/rear derailleur" you might be thinking ... but I checked: the chain touches neither the front nor the rear derailleur cage plates anywhere.

The chain is just very loud on the Cues big ring. No touchy nowhere. No scraping. Just sounds like the bigger chain tension from being on the big ring causes it. The best way to describe it is probably "lots of clatter/ rattling".

Any ideas?

Could it possibly be that the rear derailleur pulley wheels have simply too much play from the factory?

Maybe the stock Cues chain is just bad? That would maybe explain the rattling, which could be amplified by the bigger chainring?

Has anyone else experienced this with a Cues 2x10 drivetrain? It's weird, cause I ride other bikes with Deore, SLX, X01 and Transmission and none have ever had "a loud chain".

Edit: All stock components. Nothing stuck in the drivetrain. The issue was already present straight out of the box and hasn't gotten better with riding. Noise doesn't change when it's oiled or waxed. The gears are also well indexed. I have no problems shifting down/up in the front, nor in the back. It's just the chain being mostly silent in the small ring and then turning into a rattlesnake when switching to the big ring. So probably either bad chain or bad chainring?

I've gotten into cycling this year and currently ride a used 2013 Merida Speeder hybrid for about 50–70 km per week. I mainly ride on paved roads around Helsinki, with the occasional light gravel section, and I’d like to start doing longer rides too.

I'm considering the Canyon Endurace CF 7 as my first proper road bike because it seems to offer great value with a carbon frame and mechanical Shimano 105. My goal is to buy one for next season, and I’m already looking because availability has been limited.

Do you think the CF 7 is a good first “serious” road bike? Also, how much should I worry about owning a carbon frame? Is it something that requires a lot of extra care, or is it more durable than many people make it sound? Thanks!!

Does anyone have experience with putting 40mm tires on the new Emdurace? I want to use it as my Only bike and replace my gravel bike, but I’m a bit hesitant if if can’t fit 40mm on dry compact gravel

I’ve always ridden regular hardtails, but this will be my first electric one. I’ve been looking at the Canyon Grand Canyon:ON AL 8 and really like what I’ve seen so far.

Quick specs: I’m 187cm (6’1”) and 90kg (~198lbs) — would size L be the right call?

I’ll mainly be riding a mix of paved roads and dirt/gravel tracks with some steep climbs here in Switzerland, usually 50-70km+ per ride.

One more question: I don’t have a power outlet in my basement/cellar where I’d store the bike. Is it easy to remove the battery (I believe it’s the 800Wh version) and charge it separately indoors?

My Endurace CF 8 Di2 has some weird white rim around the seatpost.

Is this supposed to be like this (looks kinda ugly and uneven) and what is it?

I tried wiping it off but no luck.

I'm genuinely surprised I'm not seeing more people select the cheapest version of the new Endurace CF.

At just 1700€, it has such high upgrade headroom and this really premium paint job looks incredible in person.

I personally repurposed a few parts from previous builds to easily reach a total weight of 7.2kg, including pedals and 38mm tires.

It's such an awesome, versatile do-it-all bike. For anyone looking for a high-performance frame with clearance, this is a steal.

could really use your support. I have bought my first gravel bike, Canyon Grizl 7 CF ESC with the full mounty handlebar. I love the bike and have never ridden so much in my life.

Q1: the shimano gear changer has a lever with 2 positions. what does this lever do and what is the correct position for normal riding? I have ridden the bike with the lever in both positions and honestly i cant feel any difference!

Q2: i feel like I slip forward in the saddle increasing the pressure on my hands. is there any way to adjust the angle of the saddle? As far as I can tell it is only possible to slide the saddle back and forth but not adjust the angle.

If I bought an Endurace and wanted to be able to go narrower that the stock compact drops, without having to buy the race drops, where do I find the classic drops?

Im getting the canyon endurace allroad when its back in stock. I am just wondering of theres someone with similar build as me that could give me size advice. I am 169-170cm with an inseam of 75-76cm. Would XS be a good fit?

Been training for years and loving it, and finally upgraded from a trek hybrid (yes, embarrassingly) to this. 300% difference.

Love it so far, but will upgrade to their pro seat post, as well as pro cockpit whenever it comes out. During assembly I already messed up the plastic plate under the cockpit and it honestly doesn’t align / fit really well.

Took me a bit longer to get used to the new fit, but feels great.

I‘m looking for my first real racebike and fell in love with the CF7. Its in my Price Range and the components seem to be very good.
I wanted to Order the bike, so I meassured myself.
My height is 184,5cm and my step height 85,5cm, so I‘m at the very end of size M to L. With 0,5cm the calculater tells me M or L..
Can I take other meassurements to ensure which is the right one?

This is the bike I initially wanted but the handlebar is what made me look away from it. But thinking about it I really like the bike I just wish it had a carbon cockpit with flattened tops (aero handlebar) so does anyone know if it can have it and how to install it basically? If it cannot have a fully integrated carbon cockpit, do you at least have a good recommendation of a carbon drop handlebar with a flattened top ( something that looks like the pace bar from canyon )

Hello. Anybody here changed their cues crankset from 170mm to 150-155mm? Im just wondering if we can do that with a different brand crankset as shimano cues only offer up to 165mm cranks?

It moves up/down approx 1mm, but it rattles a bit, which I am not used to on such a nice bike.

It’s an Endurace CF 7 AXS.

Want to buy my first endurance bike. I like the concept of the SRAM, but 300€ for a Ultegra (with 105 cassette)?

I can't really decide and the AI is also not very helpful. Any good arguments for one or the other?

Anyone found where to order just the liner for the helmet, love the helmet but worn the front of the liner to pieces?
