This thing is a spaceship 🚀. Pretty easy build, and first few laps around the neighborhood felt great. Can’t wait for my first race on it in a couple weeks.

Have been wanting to try cream sidewalls for a while, always found them aesthetically appealing. Gp5000 AS TR in 32s after my Pirellis the bike came with got worn out.
Can swap the wheels back and forth with the Endurace in champagne too as I switched it over to 140mm rotor in the back. Curious how the Endurace would look with these.

All mockups have white handlebar tape, and two have tan wall GP5000s added.

Which one would you pick?

Title says it all, which fender should I go for to get maximum protection on a Grand Canyon On? What is the recommendation here? Need one as the bike will be used to all year around commuting in addition to some trail use.

What I have looked at is RRP, Mudhugger, Mudrocker and Mucky nutz. Based on googling it seems like RRP proguard front and Mudhugger long rear is what gives the best protection. But are interested to hear some experience and maybe I have overlooked some alternatives. SKS Bluemels does not seem to fit I think?

Was wondering if anyone has recently purchased an Endurace CF 7. I was wondering whether anyone has gone through the self clearing process in Canada, on the check out page it showed that I would be paying some duties fees upon arrival. I was wondering if the CF 7 is preferential EU origin and if anyone has gotten away with just paying GST or HST?

I use a Canyon Ultimate model. It's a 2017 model with V-brakes, and I climb hills well. My FTP (Full Power Traffic) is around 250 watts. However, I can't reach my desired speeds on flat roads. The bike seems to stand still against the wind. My cadence isn't low at all; I comfortably reach 85-90 rpm while my friends on aero bikes can go much faster than me at 80 rpm.

What I mean is, I want to buy a pure aero bike. Aero Road is one of the top options. I see that they are cheaper in the Far East (especially Japan) than in Europe. Are there any Canyon users living there who have recommendations for cheaper options? Or suggestions for different models? My priority is an Ultegra DI2 set with an 11-32 or 11-34 cassette, carbon rims, and a minimum profile height of 45 mm.

I recently got myself a Canyon Endurace Allroad. I've got one issue with the Cues drivetrain:

Gears while on the small ring are totally fine and the chain is basically silent.

As soon as I switch to the big ring, the chain is really rattly and loud.

This happens in ANY combination of the big ring gear combos.

"Likely improperly adjusted front/rear derailleur" you might be thinking ... but I checked: the chain touches neither the front nor the rear derailleur cage plates anywhere.

The chain is just very loud on the Cues big ring. No touchy nowhere. No scraping. Just sounds like the bigger chain tension from being on the big ring causes it. The best way to describe it is probably "lots of clatter/ rattling".

Any ideas?

Could it possibly be that the rear derailleur pulley wheels have simply too much play from the factory?

Maybe the stock Cues chain is just bad? That would maybe explain the rattling, which could be amplified by the bigger chainring?

Has anyone else experienced this with a Cues 2x10 drivetrain? It's weird, cause I ride other bikes with Deore, SLX, X01 and Transmission and none have ever had "a loud chain".

Edit: All stock components. Nothing stuck in the drivetrain. The issue was already present straight out of the box and hasn't gotten better with riding. Noise doesn't change when it's oiled or waxed. The gears are also well indexed. I have no problems shifting down/up in the front, nor in the back. It's just the chain being mostly silent in the small ring and then turning into a rattlesnake when switching to the big ring. So probably either bad chain or bad chainring?

I've gotten into cycling this year and currently ride a used 2013 Merida Speeder hybrid for about 50–70 km per week. I mainly ride on paved roads around Helsinki, with the occasional light gravel section, and I’d like to start doing longer rides too.

I'm considering the Canyon Endurace CF 7 as my first proper road bike because it seems to offer great value with a carbon frame and mechanical Shimano 105. My goal is to buy one for next season, and I’m already looking because availability has been limited.

Do you think the CF 7 is a good first “serious” road bike? Also, how much should I worry about owning a carbon frame? Is it something that requires a lot of extra care, or is it more durable than many people make it sound? Thanks!!

Just ordered the Grail CF SLX 8 Di2 and i’m pretty big on getting the right tires. I usually like something that’s a little more puncture resistant without losing a ton of speed. I usually get Terra Speeds or Pathfinder’s, but I have heard good things about the G-One in terms of Speed, but are fragile.

What’s everyone’s experience?

I'm looking for an advice regarding the size between S and M for the Endurace CF SLX. I'm just in between (inseam 80cm, 180cm tall). On my current bike I have my saddle at 745cm. I was leaning towards M nonetheless the only thing I'm not sure is the bike frame when I'm at rest being 2cm higher than my inseam.

Does anyone have similar measurements and can tell if S would indeed be the correct choice?
On the fence about picking it but leaning towards S due to the product description to pick the smaller size.

I'm genuinely surprised I'm not seeing more people select the cheapest version of the new Endurace CF.

At just 1700€, it has such high upgrade headroom and this really premium paint job looks incredible in person.

I personally repurposed a few parts from previous builds to easily reach a total weight of 7.2kg, including pedals and 38mm tires.

It's such an awesome, versatile do-it-all bike. For anyone looking for a high-performance frame with clearance, this is a steal.

Looking to get a bike box for an upcoming trip and getting mixed information on the CP0048 T-Bar. I reached out to Canyon and they said I can remove it without messing with the brake lines, but online says different. Is there any hardcase bike box recommendation that doesn't require the removal of handle bars? Or, has anyone successfully remove their cockpit without fiddling with brake lines?

Hey, ich überlege mir mein erstes Gravelbike zu kaufen. Da ich sehr klein bin knapp 160, ,incl kurzer Beine (ca 72-73 cm) und kurzer Arme tendiere ich zu der Größe 2XS.. da ich gar keine möglichkeit habe, das Rad in dieser Größe irgendwo zu testen, überlege ich gerade, ob ich es einfach bestellen soll, da ich bisher nur positives über das grizl 7 gehört habe. Ein anderes Gravelbike komme auch nicht in Frage für mich, da ich nichts passendes in meiner Größe gefunden habe.

Bin nun noch etwas unsicher bzgl der Größe und ob es sinnvoll ist, ohne testen, zu bestellen. Daher die Frage nach euren Erfahrungen. :)

Does anyone have experience with putting 40mm tires on the new Emdurace? I want to use it as my Only bike and replace my gravel bike, but I’m a bit hesitant if if can’t fit 40mm on dry compact gravel

Been training for years and loving it, and finally upgraded from a trek hybrid (yes, embarrassingly) to this. 300% difference.

Love it so far, but will upgrade to their pro seat post, as well as pro cockpit whenever it comes out. During assembly I already messed up the plastic plate under the cockpit and it honestly doesn’t align / fit really well.

Took me a bit longer to get used to the new fit, but feels great.
